It was a Sunday afternoon, so it was busy for sure. We didn't mind the wait to be seated... until it took 10 minutes to get water, another 10 minutes for our order to be taken, and 20 minutes to get food. I was surprised the food was even warm! I got the french toast, but was sorely disappointed. Thick cuts of bread were soggy from over soaking and bland. Good french toast could use vanilla or cinnamon flavor, but maybe it'll be saved by the syrup? Nope. Syrup was cold and thick without much flavor either, just sweetness. The gave mimosas, beer, and Bloody Mary on their menu which was a happy surprise plus the regular coffee and soda. Service was horrible - kinda non existent in a way. I know it's a busy and popular cafe but we had Angel (has a very humorous type service kind of guy) but he was solely focused on two tables that were behind us. Before we have gotten our drinks, he slammed down the coffee mug without saying anything and then started giving us our drinks, a bit rude. (Hardly seen him attend to any other tables in his area) The only time he came to talk to us was for refill on coffee (which took a while because he went to talking to the two tables he was chatting with, prob his buddies) and to take our orders. Otherwise it was hard to really grab his attention for anything since he was focused elsewhere. We flagged another worker for the check and somehow Angel popped by with the card machine asking if we were paying with a card but we paid by QR by then. Food was good - ordered Ice White Mocha ( was hoping it was sweeter since I asked for an add on of hazelnut but it was never added), Country Fried Steak, Jamie's breakfast hash with a toast on the side and the chorizo special. They forgot to bring our toasts in the beginning - we had to flag a different server that was in a different area to ask about our toast and we didn't even receive them until near the end of our eating. One of the toast came out a bit close to burnt. They remade another one but by that time - we were pretty much done eating. Being charged for $4 for some toast that was almost forgotten was not it. The restaurant had a very warm and welcoming vibe inside due to the dark color scheme. Service was great! The staff was very friendly. They checked in on us multiple times and were very fast, which we appreciated. Food: * Eggs Benedict: Moist with a light sauce, and you can really taste the salmon. A solid blend of flavors. The potatoes were tasty and fully seasoned. * Toast: A big fan of the crispy toast--it had a nice crunch on the outside and was soft on the inside. I have been wanting to go to Jamie's for a couple of years now and finally did. Boy have we been missing out! I had the chorizo and egg breakfast burrito fried potatoes with the bell pepper and onion along with homemade salsa. It was delicious! My husband had the eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy. He considers himself to be a connoisseur of biscuits and gravy and said it was super good! We could've shared our meals with two other people you get so much food but believe it or not my husband finished his and I brought half of my burrito home for dinner tonight. Now the customer service... We were met by a very nice young man that told us to sit anywhere we wanted and that he would follow us. We had coffee in minutes actually seconds. Normally, I'm not a fan of restaurant coffee but this coffee is a 10 out of 10. Our guy checked in on us routinely and had quite the personality. I had the pleasure to receive a coupon from the owner at my senior complex and used it the other day. Oh my goodness was the omelette I ordered delicious. So large and much meat, vegetables inside it took two meals to finish it. Country fries, and choice of muffin or toast were included and they were very delicious also. We came here to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday. It was her suggestion as she'd been here before and loved it. It's across the street from the apple Campus. They have their own private lot for the shopping center. We arrived at Noon and there wasn't a wait. I was shocked. I thought it would be overflowing with patrons, but the place was half empty. I was surprised to find that it was quite busy during the middle of the week, but we didn't have to wait long to be seated. My friend got a latte to start, which she really enjoyed. To eat I got the 2-egg breakfast with bacon + tater tots (they give you the option between tater tots or potatoes) and my friend got the Mom's french toast with a side of eggs and sausage. I Enjoyed my meal! I literally have no complaints! I recommend getting the biscuits! It's so soft and warm! Yummm! Literally drooling thinking about it. I did have an issue with my eggs. They gave me fried instead if scrambled, but once I let our waiter know they immediately and I mean immediately gave me a new plate with scrambled eggs! My friend also really enjoyed her meal and noted that the french toast has some sort of crusting on the outside of it, giving it great texture when you eat it. The food was flavorful. The service was great, friendly and kept checking on us and other tables and great timing with coffee refills. The place is noisy because of the acoustics and not cozy. It felt like I was eating at the mall with the noisy and crowded environment but probably that's because it's good food and service. This was my 2nd after 3 years and looks like they expanded as the place looked bigger. French toast was not overly sweet even with all the berries, but tasted like it was not freshly made as it was not hot nor warm. Maybe premade I think and just prepped to order. Pastrami was salty and would tasted better with a crisper bread but they put too much mustard. The chicken fried steak was our fave. The portions are large and that's why the price is a high, so maybe share plates if you are thinking of costs. I wish they offered loco moco and garlic fried rice. I was recently introduced to Jamie's Cafe and I was very impressed with the overall service, food and atmosphere. I came here on a Sunday morning for breakfast/brunch with a part of 8 (5 adults/3 kids) and we did not have to wait very long before being seated. It was busy but there was a good flow going. We sat inside but noticed some patio seating that appeared pet friendly. inside is 1 large open space with great lighting, TV inside so you wont miss the game if you're there on a Sunday morning! Being an ultra indecisive person when it comes to eating drove me to staring at the menu for much too long. Everything sounded good but ultimately went with the ultimate breakfast burger. Burger patty. bacon, egg(served anyway) on a brioche bun. You can't go wrong! I got the burger with a side of tots and they had a nice crunch to them, Would recommend as your side. The staff was super friendly, attentive and I felt very much welcomed. I also have to thank the staff for having to clean up after my child who's eyes were bigger than his stomach and ultimately paid the nasty price. The fact it took quite a bit of time for the food to show up made me think, what's going on the kitchen? I found it interesting, the customer to our left had no idea what parsley was and it freaked her out. When questioned, the server re-made her eggs. That's good service but we waited for the food to show up. The one man was server, busboy and cashier. When the food arrived I realized the previous reviews by Yelpers were mostly fake. The food was bland and nothing to write home about. Yelp said if you liked Station 16 you'll like this place. This place is no where close to the quality of Station 16. The scramble I had was cold and the cheese was nowhere near melted. Yan's 2 egg breakfast was miserable. There is nothing worse than cold eggs. The server said they had four to go order so of course those came first. I had originally given then a 2 but after thinking about it, all I can do is a 1. We had about 3 people before us but went ended up waiting about 10 minutes or so. The space itself is kinda small but they definitely utilized the space and have tons of seating. The menu is great! Tons of items to choose from. And they also have lunch options as well. I ordered the keto burrito with tater tot's and I would 100% order again. My husband ordered the breakfast burger. It's always like seeing family when I go to Jamie's, whether it be for takeout or dine-in. From Jamie to all of her staff, I feel right at home with their great service and food. It looked promising. I'm not bothered by the wait -- it was Mother's Day -- and the texting waitlist was nice. We did get uneven service, perhaps because of how busy it was and the food was mid. I had deep fried French toast with strawberries and eggs over easy with sausage. The French toast was just ok. I would give it 3.5 stars if it was an option but I can't round up to four.
