This was not the kind of place I thought it would be. With all of its history, i thought for sure this place would be exciting and delicious... it was the opposite. Servers were not knowledgeable, took Awhile for drinks... just loud people having conversation and little kids running around and screaming... went out for date night not thinking this was a family place... just wanted good drinks, food, music and nice atmosphere, none of which this place contained. The food was great but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. We went on a Saturday night and ended up having to eat at the bar. We got good service and my husband's scallops and my sirloin tips were wonderful. However, the lack of restaurant tables (almost all high tops) and the noise level means we won't return. Very loud atmosphere, and slow service when you sit at the bar. The past few times we have been here our food has come out cold, and the food and drink prices are very high for the options they have available. Not a place to go if you are trying to talk and catch up with someone or if you are looking for a romantic date night. The servers always seem bothered by customers and our tables are never cleared as we eat, so by the end of our meal there are dishes everywhere. This place is just inconsistent. Went here a few nights ago to meet up with a friend, sat at the bar. I always think that you're going to get better service at the bar however this place is an exception. Ordered a glass of wine and the maple duck breast for an entree, my friend ordered the salmon and substituted fingerling potatoes for the rice. However when the order came out it was wrong! The duck came out as Shepards pie, where on earth do you get Shepards pie from duck??? And my friends meal came out with rice instead of the potatoes. First observation was that the bartender wasn't taking any accountability for the screw up, she said that the button on the computer was the problem and that it came through on the kitchen's end as Shepard pie....sounds fishy. Second observation the bartender should have brought my friends food back uto put under the warmer while I waited for mine. And even though we asked about the fingerling potatoes they never came. Finally my duck came out, good but not great the portion size was on the small end for $26 I would have expected a better portion and the butternut squash ravioli that it came with was very al dente could have been cooked another min or two. One final observation in the bar area, noticed a bunch of workers just standing around not doing anything....kinda weird if you ask me. read more

Tonight we went for the second time and it was really dead with around 10 other customers total and it was cold inside, so cold that some of the staff were wearing coats. Doing the best they can, pizza was delicious, but will not order from again. We ordered at 5:30pm for their $10 any size and pizza deal and they were out of large pizza dough. We ordered 2 small pizzas and were told to pick up in 45-50min. They asked what our car looked like so they could deliver to the car and we were excited about that. We got to the parking lot at 6:15pm, did not get acknowledged until 7pm, and did not receive our pizza until 7:45pm. We saw others pull up after us and get their pizza before us, but some cars were waiting even longer than us. The woman running back and forth all night had no mask on, and was getting very close to everyone in their cars - seemed very unsafe. She did give us a slice of cake and apologized for the wait, but wow, 2 hours! I hate to leave a bad review, but wanted to caution others who are thinking about their Tuesday $10 pizza deal. At least order at 4pm right when they open and you might get to eat by 6pm. Again, pizza was yummy! read more

This place only opened a couple of months ago and we finally went on Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised and it actually exceeded my expectations! The decor leaves a bit to be desired, still pretty plain but big TVs in bar area; still the ambiance has a ways to go but...on to other things. Our server was Jen, she was fantastic! Attentive without being annoying, really good! We started with the truffle fries and two beer samples, omg yum. They also gave us bread with an herbed butter - pretty good. We waited to order our meals until after the fries came and she didn't make us feel rushed at all. For dinner my husband had the rib eye and I had the linguine with shrimp. When my meal came the marinara sauce was missing and when I pointed It out she apologized and quickly fixed my meal while offering me a free cocktail, um yes...thank you! We passed on dessert...minimal options and too cold for ice cream choices. A little pricey but not outlandish for a local and decent restaurant! We will be back! read more

My husband had been here previously one time for lunch he took me as a surprise today for mother's day.. We both ordered the 20oz porterhouse that came with carrots and mashed potatoes. Worst service and management. We were seated and waited 30 minutes before flagging down a food runner to find our waiter who then came ten minutes later and said " hey what's up, sorry about the wait" took drink order and then had to flag him down to place order. Ordered steak medium well , came well done and with butter knife.... complained to manager who gave excuse they were busy. I explained we waited 30 minutes to be acknowledged and he replied, we were aware... now that explains why service sucked , management sucks even more. Will never recommend this shit show to anyone. Full disclosure, I do work at this restaurant. Personally, I think it speaks volumes when workers frequent their establishment. With plenty of options out there for dinner, when someone chooses to have dinner with friends at the restaurant where they work it must be excellent! 6 of us went for dinner on Friday night and sat under the tent. They took our temp (even mine even tho I had just finished my shift and they took it then), and all the employees are wearing masks and following the strict guidelines. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. Alex was our server and was awesome as usual. We started with the 2 scallop and pork appetizers, arancini and buffalo cauliflower. Soooo yummy! For drinks we had watermelon basil lemonades, Mojito's, charred jalapeño thyme margarita, espresso martini's and more and they were all delicious!! Dinner was 2 orders of baked haddock, JFC, margherita pizza, pulled pork sandwich and miso soy vegetable stir fry with shrimp. We all loved every bite!! My haddock was the best I've ever had!! With full and happy bellies and such a great experience it made me so proud to be a part of this team! read more

Went on 6/26 for late lunch of a pizza. Outside tent is set up real nice with fake grass and a huge tent, nice separation on the tables. Staff all wearing masks and gloves, they take your temp on the way in, makes you feel good about how they are handling the Covid situation. My son wanted something from the pub side then was told the owner wasn't going to let us order from that menu. Even tho they have let us done so 3 other times in the past . Food was good. Service on the other hand not so much. First our waitress did not write anything down so she got our order wrong. Second they brought out one meal then and the next two meals 10-15 minutes later. After we were done eating we asked for the check and waited another 20 minutes. Terrific mix of salty with a nice sweet sauce combined with tender scallops.... memorable!! OMG the scallop risotto I ordered was the bomb. Rich cheesy risotto with pan seared crispy and moist scallops. Asparagus pieces mixed in with the risotto. At first I was skeptical about this, but the flavors all together were heaven. Yeah, been there multiple times. Kept hoping that a new, local place would work out the kinks. Not so much. Ordered a chicken Cesar salad and a pepperoni pizza to share with a friend. Both disappointing.Dressing tasted like it had gone bad or hadn't been made following recipe. Told server she could take it away and explained why. Asked if I would like something else 25 minutes later! No thanks, everyone else in our party had already finished and I wasn't going to make them wait another 45 minutes while I received and ate another barely edible meal. Pizza was greasy and cold. Lobster buffalo Mac and cheese "special" another member of our party ordered was also disappointing and more than half was left behind. Going to stick to Pasta Loft and Mill Pond from now on, despite the fact they are farther away. At least I won't go home hungry after paying a $95 bill. read more

We stopped by yesterday and tried the chicken wings and pepperoni pizza, both items were very good. The place is very nice, large bar and lots of tables. Looks very clean. Our server at the bar, Stephen was exceptional! Friendly and professional. I think you should have a separate pizza menu with different selections, it shows they will make any pizza but a menu would be nice. Went here with some friends to catch up. We requested the dining room so we could chat comfortably. When we asked for the pub menu we were told they did not serve pub food in the dinning room. Seriously...it is the same kitchen. We were offered a seat in the bar and we decided to move. In there it was cold and very noisy! Exactly what we didn't want. The servers and hostess were fabulous and were kind in explaining the "menu rules". Unfortunately it will not be our choice for dinner again. read more

Went for lunch with a friend. Not crazy about the decor-has an industrial look and we were seated at our request at one of only 4 tables on the floor that were not bar height. We were greeted by our waiter right away who brought our drinks but then disappeared for a while before he took our order. He was the only waiter in the restaurant. We got our meals and noticed neither the sandwiches, french fries or onion rings were hot, in fact they were barely warm, and the onion rings were lumped together in one blob. Our waiter was very apologetic and spoke with the owner/manager? who comped our meal. That was appreciated, but instead of making the waiter deal with the issue (since he was the only one on the floor) it would have been more appropriate for the owner to address the issue.
