    Chicken Gyro Plate

Great variety here in the chicken plate. Everything is well seasoned and the salad is refreshing. Ordered for pick up and it was ready on-time. Solid food if you're craving a platter.

3.5 stars I ordered delivery from here through DoorDash! I tried the Mixed Kabob Plate (priced I think at $17.99, though DoorDash inflated to $20.99). It came with two small chicken pieces, beef kefta kabob, rice and hummus. The portions were modest, but everything was incredibly flavorful. The warm, fluffy pita paired perfectly with the creamy garlic sauce. My only critique is that the chicken was on the salty side.

We got the chicken plate and the lamb plate and they were so good! Served with salad, warm pita, and fresh hummus ! The space is clean and open, and service was fast and friendly! Plus the baklava, and the chocolate roll baklava are to die for We will definitely be back

I used to love this place and they used to have the best Gyro sandwiches in the area. Their gyro was so good but this all changed after Covid where the gyro sandwiches started to taste so bad. I am not sure if they started using cheaper quality meat or cheaper sauce. Extremely disappointing. This used time be my only go to Gyro place.

Chicken Gyro Salad and Greek fries

So unassuming but so good! Got the chicken gyro and Greek fries. Gyro meat was tender, well-seasoned and flavorful. Abundance of tzatziki, fresh cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Pita was warmed and so fluffy, and the fries were a garlicky goodness with feta and tzatziki. Would definitely stop by again if in the area!

I love a Mediterranean restaurant that offers both great chicken and lamb options. This place goes one step farther and has awesome rotisserie chicken options which are great. The prices are reasonable and there is plenty of parking in front since this is located in a mini-mall of sorts. The interior is fairly basic. It's more of a cafeteria type interior so I prefer to take my food to go instead of eating it here. They also offer a kids menu which is convenient.

Love this Mediterranean restaurant! It's a hole in a wall, but definitely worth eating at! I had a delicious beef/lamb gyro salad. Everything tasted so fresh and soooo good! The rest of the family enjoyed their gyro wraps and gyro plates. Prices were reasonable. We got there right when they opened, and it was pretty cold inside. Hopefully it warmed up! Not sure if they were use to having people eat inside as the chairs were still on the table in the back room? Maybe better to take it to go until the weather warms up? Either way, I can't wait to go again!

Unassuming clean eatery. Reasonable prices for food and decent selection as well despite overall trend of restaurants increasing prices. Guy working was polite and fast!

Unbelievable! I I've stumbled into this place just looking for a quick lunch. And I've managed to stumble onto the best kafta kebob I've ever had! Ever! It's so juicy, and flavorful, and just damn delicious. The tahini and garlic dips were outstanding as well. Tasted home made. The man behind the counter obviously takes pride in his work and his food. Overall, 5 stars for the food and hospitality. P.S. it was so good I went back for dinner to try something else.

Not worth the wait or the money. The food is virtually tasteless. The tabollah is 90% tomatoes and the rest of the meal was just as bad.

Dining in is an option, I've only experienced to go as it's most convenient for my family. Ordering is always easy, text messages about the order status allows for ideal arrival time. The customer service yielded by the DERU team is always excellent, even for larger orders they always make sure the orders are accurate and any additional condiments and flatware are included. DERU Market is always busy for a reason, plan ahead if dining in or ordering to go. I will return and highly recommend!

Had a total party size of two. We even added our names, but when we got led to our seats, we were put at the barstools. There were plenty of other parties of two that arrived after us that got tables plus there were some empty tables for two that we saw as well. So we requested a table instead of the bar area, but the server told us the manager didn't want us sitting there. Didn't make much sense when there were empty tables. Maybe they had some reasoning or structure for weekend crowds they they had to follow, not sure, but we had to stay seated at the bar area. We ordered a Margherita pizza to split as well as a slice of carrot cake as I've heard a lot of good things about these items. The pizza had really fresh ingredients and the sauce and tomatoes were tasty, however the dough was incredibly salty and made it difficult to eat. This was my first time at Deru Market, but I assume it isn't always this salty and could have been a one-time thing. The slice of carrot cake was pretty expensive (around $14) but it's huge and good to split amongst 2-3 people. I liked the generous serving of nuts and shredded carrot inside. Cream cheese frosting was still a bit too sweet for me (think I prefer Deep Sea Sugar and Salt's to this) and I had to remove most of it, but the cake was overall pretty good though a little on the dry side. I get why this place is popular, but I don't think I had the best first time experience here. With the high number of positive reviews though, maybe they were just having a bad day since it was a Saturday and pretty crowded, so I'm hoping to come back again in the future, during like a seasonal special if they have any.

SWEETGREENS @ KIRKLAND…read more This was my first time visiting Sweetgreen in Kirkland, located in Totem Lake. Totem Lake is a great area to explore, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a movie theater all within walking distance. It's a nice spot if you're looking to spend some time around the Kirkland area. I've heard a lot about Sweetgreen, so I was excited to finally give it a try. The concept reminded me a lot of Chipotle since you can choose your base, protein, toppings, and sauces to create your own bowl. They also offer a variety of signature bowls if you don't want to build your own. Options included bowls with pesto, steak, and other combinations already put together for you. Unfortunately, my first impression wasn't the best. The staff didn't seem very friendly, and everything felt rushed. Since my dad and I were both first time customers, we weren't exactly sure what to order. It felt like we were being hurried through the line rather than being helped. For my bowl, I chose quinoa, romaine lettuce, and chicken. They had temporarily run out of chicken, but thankfully a fresh batch came out after only a few minutes, which I appreciated. I also noticed that the tables inside were pretty dirty, so we decided to sit outside instead. The outdoor seating was much more enjoyable anyway. As for the food, I thought it was good overall. I liked that everything tasted fresh and seemed to be made with wholesome ingredients. The vegetables were crisp, and the bowl felt healthy and filling. My biggest complaint was the chicken. It wasn't seasoned very much and tasted pretty plain, so I found myself relying on the sauce to add flavor to the meal. Overall, the food was decent, but the customer service and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I don't think I would return to this particular location, but I'd be willing to give another Sweetgreen a try in the future, especially to test out some of their wraps or other menu options.

Interior decor is gorgeous with vibrant colors and fancy gold chair and beautiful tables/booths. Food is so mid, kind of overpriced for what you get. The service was so slow with one guy doing it all.. serving and prepping food in the back. Took so long to flag him down for the bill. The steak was seasoned well and we loved the meat in the beans. I had high hopes for Obutekim - an a la carte version of Brazilian BBQ, instead of AYCE. We have no self-control, so this is much better for portion control. Service was sufficient, not particularly attentive. They were busy chatting with folks at a table behind us (people they seem to know). We waved for water refills, etc. The food was a mixed bag of hits-and-miss resulting in a grumpy hubby. (We went to Fogo the next weekend to make up for it.) The Food: Beef with Madeira Wine Sauce and French Fries, $27 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Sautéed Filét Mignon with mushrooms, garlic, onions, parsley, creamy roti sauce, flambéed with Madeira wine. Served with French fries. This dish tasted pretty good with the light wine sauce, many mushrooms, and very crispy fries. The beef chunks tasted mostly good with mostly tender pieces. However, my dish (see photo) doesn't look like their online photo, which is a richer variant visually closer to what a beef bourguignon looks like. I think I missed out on whatever this dish is intended to be. Their pieces of beef are randomly cut in different sizes and shape, irregular and random. My mediocre knife skills can cut more uniform pieces of beef than they did. I like this dish enough but also not hitting the bar. Fried Banana Side, $8.50 - 4 Stars Menu: Banana empanada e Frita (Breaded and Fried Bananas) These fried bananas are under the Sides in the menu. We received unbreaded fried plantains, which is fine with us since we like fried plantains. Their online menu says breaded and fried bananas, and the photo is completely different. I don't know what this dish is supposed to be. Brazilian Churrasco, $27 - 2 Stars Menu: Choice of Beef Coulotte, Garlic Sirloin and Pork Sausage. Served with jasmine rice, Brazilian style black beans (containing smoked pork sausage), potato salad, and farofa. Choice of any meat. This dish should be amongst their signature dishes. Hubby chose their two beef options: beef coulotte and garlic sirloin. See photo. The tiny piece is the garlic sirloin, which is garlicky but a bit tough. The two bigger ones are beef coulottes which have little flavor (seasonings), both are tough, with thick trims of fat. He said "2 out of 5 stars" with a grumpy face. I fed him some of my food to make him feel better.
