Jasmine at the Bellagio is nothing short of spectacular! This high-end, posh Chinese restaurant offers not only incredible food but gave me one of the most memorable dining atmospheres in Las Vegas. We were lucky enough to snag the center seat with a perfect view of the Bellagio fountains--truly a bucket list moment for me! I went in not expecting much from the food, but I was completely blown away. The Peking Duck was perfectly moist and flavorful, served with crepes just the way I like (you do have option for the buns as well). While I wish the cucumbers and green onions were a tad fresher, the overall dish was still fantastic. The highlight of the meal, though, was the Chicken Clay Pot. Our server recommended it, and wow--they were spot on. The aroma alone was enough to captivate us, but the rich, flavorful sauce and tender chicken made it unforgettable. We couldn't stop raving about it! The service was impeccable--attentive without being intrusive. I never had to ask for anything; the staff anticipated every need. Of course, what made the night all the more special was dining with elevated center view to the Bellagio fountain show. It's an experience I'll never forget. If I could return and have that same magical fountain view again, I absolutely would! Just a disclaimer for this review, I've only been here during the holiday brunch buffets and never the dinner service. However, I highly recommend coming here for the holiday buffets though because it's absolutely amazing. Last year was already pretty good, but this year, they somehow stepped it up and the food quality was even better (there was king crab this year)! The carving station at the holiday buffets is always the best. The crispy pork belly has such a crunchy skin with juicy fatty meat. The Peking Duck has a wonderful skin with tender meat and is something I would be happy ordering a la carte. The other best section would be the cold seafood section where they had king crab legs, abalone, oysters, and so much more super fresh seafood. The cooked foods are also delicious here. This year, they included some more traditional Chinese dishes and dim sum like stir fried pig trotters and braised chicken feet which I really enjoyed. They also had more approachable dim sum items like all your standard dumplings, pork spare ribs and rice noodles, steamed fish, and it was all very tasty. Usually dessert sections at buffets all feel the same, but the dessert section here was stunning. This year, all of the dessert were Christmas themed and unlike anything I'd seen at any other buffet. Made a reservation on a Thursday night. The Jasmine offers a range of Cantonese dishes that are well-executed, though not particularly distinct from other authentic Chinese restaurants in terms of ingredient selection. The cold cucumber appetizer stood out for its freshness and satisfying crunch. The fried rice was flavorful, and the beef dishes had a nice tenderness to them. A clay pot fish dish came with tofu, and while cooked well, it wasn't the most memorable offering on the menu. Great location--it's situated right by the fountain, so you can enjoy the show through the large glass windows, which definitely adds to the dining experience. The bamboo dessert was interesting, but the inclusion of lychee felt out of place--it disrupted the balance rather than enhancing it. A smoother pairing, like a black sesame sauce, might better complement the dish and bring a more cohesive flavor profile. As for the crème brûlée, the coconut element was too subtle and the dessert felt more like individual components than a unified dish. While the execution was technically fine, the flavors lacked integration. Sadly we were extremely disappointed with this food that was outdone by "MALL CHINESE FOOD" ... as a Executive Chef this by far was to worst Chinese food that I have ever had the misfortune of consuming. Your dinning room captain thinks that by suggesting the food , and portions, were incredible when in fact Frozen Food from the grocery store could out do your product. We kept our order simple so we can get to our show, Lemon Chicken ( Flavorless) ,Vegetable Fried Rice ( No char from the wok to give it that smokey flavor and FLAVORLESS) and then the Gristle ,Fatty Bbq Pork( Char Sui) if not for the spicy mustard the product would not have been palliative..... BUT THE FINAL TRAVESTY WERE THE $19 Micro (4) 3 inch Vegetable Egg Rolls.... These can not possibly be homemade... they taste , look, and the filling is synonymous with egg rolls SYSCO FOOD SELLS...... we didnt even finish our food but still tipped because your busboy/ waterboy was working and very hospitable. To sum up this horrible experience you , your staff and the Bellagio need to reassess your staff, Head Chef, and Menu! One of the worst Cantonese meals I've ever had. I'm sitting here still wondering how this place is charging premium prices for buffet-quality food. We ordered the Peking duck, and it was rushed out like fast food. The chef did a half-hearted carve job--completely messy and unappetizing. The scallions looked like they were cut hours ago. The fried rice? Incredibly bland. I tried adding soy sauce, which somehow made it worse. The tofu dish was a disaster--soggy fried skin with mushy bok choy that tasted like it had been boiled to death. Service was bare and practically non-existent. Now, the only thing worth mentioning: the ambience. It's genuinely beautiful. But for these prices? I'd rather eat a hamburger off the street--no joke. This isn't refined Cantonese cuisine. It's a poorly executed, overpriced mess that makes me wish I had walked out the moment I saw the menu. Huge regret. read more

My first time dining at Jasmine and everything was delicious! The view of the fountains is also quite impeccable. Ordered the cucumbers and spicy wontons to start. Both were delicious. The spicy wontons definitely have a kick to them, but were quite tasty. The bottle of Sancerre we ordered was delicious as well and paired perfectly with our meal. Had to order the Peking Duck here since I had heard so many great reviews about it. I would rate it a 10/10!! The table side carving to the way it was presented on our table, to the surprise lettuce cups with the remaining pieces of the duck, what a GREAT experience! The Yangzhou fried rice was very lightly flavored but was perfect with a little hot sauce. Service was excellent as well and our server was so funny! Can't wait to come back. read more

We've been twice. The first time we were pretty impressed. This most recent time was not good. First meal, we had potstickers, Mongolian beef and my favorite, mapo tofu (I don't see that on the current menu). Everything was good and we loved the views of course. Our last visit, we again had the potsickers (good) and the Mongolian beef (good), but we did the lobster, which you can get prepared two ways. Our waiter immediately recommended the fried preparation. That was a mistake. What arrived was a pile of deep fried whole lobster parts - at least, I believe that's what it was. Very hard to eat because you couldn't see from the breading where the meat was. Our server brought over a lobster cracker but we weren't sure how that would help. Maybe we just didn't know how to eat it? But we ended up just leaving it alone. And it was $198. Absolutely not worth it. We also had the walnut prawns, which were very standard - you can get this exact same dish in any strip mall in America. The service is good but they hover. At any given moment we had at least one and usually two servers staring at us intently just out of arms reach from our table. It's weird and it was like that both times. If you like that sort of thing, you're in luck here. This isn't awful food, but our meal was $400 and we didn't finish anything except the potstickers. We won't be coming back. read more

I was really looking forward to coming here and, don't get me wrong, It was really good. I think I just had higher expectations for the walnut shrimp which was delicious, but was not the best that I've ever had. The dining room and all the plates (love em) and the view of the fountains are glorious! They had an issue at the beginning when we sat at the bar waiting for our table where I guess their technology didn't work and they could only take cash and no credit cards. Luckily, they fixed it because I was thinking how are all those people in the dining room gonna pay, cause I guarantee you not everyone has cash... The pork belly was amazing and the best thing I had there. The coconut crème brûlée was really good. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert and I was scared. It would have bits of coconut shards in there, but instead it was on the outside and then they had a mango purée and a mango ice cream on the side, which were so delicious! My friend had the baked Seabass, which she said was amazing as well. The service was good, but it could've been better. For example, when I was trying to make a decision on what to order I am always torn between a few dishes and when I asked between the chicken and the shrimp, the waiter just said well it depends on if you're in the mood for chicken or shrimp. It's just chicken or shrimp. So I thought that was a weird response. But all in all I was still very delicious! read more

Went there today for their Lunar New Years brunch. It's a great looking restaurant with excellent views of the Bellagio Fountains. Service from the Hosts to the servers was excellent we felt really well taken care of. Is it expensive? Well yes ita I n the Strip at the Bellagio but everything we ate was well prepared and really high quality. We definitely took your share of the chilled seafood. King Crab, Oysters and huge Shrimp. Carving station had Prime Rib, Rack of Lamb and Peking Duck, all very tasty. Great assortment of Dim Sum also. All in all a really great experience and don't forget to check out the Bellagio Conservatory. read more

We came to Jasmine this past Saturday night with my sister and brother in law, who were in from out of town. We had a reservation for 5:30pm, but arrived just a little early. They had no problem getting us right in and seated. The dining room is really beautiful. It has a kind of "retro Vegas" feel to it...not OLD Vegas, but...classic, this is what it looked like when it first opened, but really well maintained, if that makes sense. We had stellar service. Very attentive, and super helpful with recommendations. We ordered: The Far East Gin and Tonic: this was served with keffir lime leaves, lemongrass, and Szechwan peppercorns. It was lovely, and a perfect pour. We don't come to the strip often, and I don't pay $20 for a cocktail outside of a super special occasion, but I truly felt that this was a fair price for a good sized cocktail at the Bellagio. My sister and brother in law ordered a bottle of white wine: Whitehaven Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. I had a sip of it, and it was lovely. I caught some apricots on the nose. I definitely want to pick up a bottle. For appetizers, we ordered: Pot stickers: standard, delicious. Crushed cucumber: really fresh and delicious: sesame oil and black rice wine vinegar with cilantro. Corn chowder with lump crab: I didn't get any corn in the one bite I had (this was my sister's), but it was really tasty. It had kind of an egg drop or egg flower soup consistency, and lots of delicious crab. For entrees we ordered: Crispy Honey Sea Bass: This was the best dish of the night. Cooked to absolute perfection, with beautiful harmonious flavors...this dish was perfection. Szechwan shrimp: This was lovely. It had a nice heat, but wasn't overly spicy. The broth was very flavorful, and the shrimp were perfect. Teriyaki beef tenderloin: This was pretty good. The beef was very tender, but a little bland flavor wise. Veggie fried rice: meh. It didn't really scream "fried" rice. It was good in the broth of my shrimp though, so it served its purpose. Kung pao shrimp: Probably the least favorite of the night. My husband asked for extra spicy, and it wasn't spicy at all. The chicken was tender, but it just lacked the extra kick we expect with Kung Pao. The deserts were all amazing. I had the mocchi: black sesame, ube, and salted caramel. All delicious, but I think the black sesame and ube were tied for my favorite. My brother in law had the Coconut, which was an incredible creme brulee served with a keffir lime sorbet/shaved ice, and some kind of mango compote...SO. GOOD. My sister ordered the Jasmine strawberry, which was strawberry mousse. The presentation alone was stunning. The flavors were amazing too. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit. The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is that we didn't really feel that all of the dishes were worth the price...The Sea Bass was 100% worth the $52, but everything else we feel could have been a little less money for the portion size/value of flavor. That could just be a bias though, for a preference for a slightly more affordable spot off the strip that we love. The food is definitely good, and the atmosphere is wonderful for a special night. The server brought some sauce for me upon request. $35 and it did not come with rice. Just some little fried nuggets on a plate. Eggrolls: four skinny eggrolls that you can get by the bag at any Costco. Same exact thing. $19 for four of them. Lemon chicken: dried out. Sauce was OK. Chicken fried rice: average. We had the best experience in Las Vegas thanks to Jasmine. We loved all the details they put into this beautiful restaurant. The design theme has colorful butterflies throughout as the welcoming waitress explained. From the ceiling to the table cloths, the napkins and plates. Even the chopsticks are designed with the theme. We cannot leave out the fact that this beautiful restaurant has view to the Bellagio water show. Every 15 minutes at night time, we got to see the magical water show spectacle. The food was excellent, fresh taste of seafood and very meticulously placed in each plate adorned with each detail. Yes the food was excellent! We tried dumplings , roasted vegetables, and seafood. I was tempted to try the Peking Duck, but I will come back for it. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming from the host to the waitress made our stay unforgettable. I definitely recommend this place for an evening Las Vegas experience dinner. read more

However- if you can tolerate the lying hostess and horrible service - the food is sensational. Wonderful ingredients and delicious plates. It's really a toss whether it's worth it or not. If you're a foodie and you don't mind being talked down to and disrespected- you'll have a good meal. However if you don't want to spend about $200-$250 per person to dine somewhere while they treat you like trash, avoid this place. We've dined here multiple times in the past few years- always hoping the bad service was because "oh it was a holiday weekend" "it was too crowded" "we were too early" "we dined late". Nope. To start, this restaurant has amazing views of the Bellagio fountain water shows, and beautiful butterfly themed decor within. Having eaten at authentic Cantonese restaurants in San Francisco, San Gabriel Valley, and NYC, the food here is decent. We ordered live spot prawns - 1 order boiled, the other steamed with garlic with vermicelli noodles (market price $110 per 6 pieces), salt and pepper scallops, crispy honey sea bass, and beef tenderloin asparagus with black pepper sauce. The seafood is indeed fresh (judging by taste). Portion sizes are on the smaller side, but the menu has a good variety of dishes. Most tables around us ordered more Americanized dishes, like fried rice and pot stickers. Our waitress - Kathy and service staff were friendly and attentive, and made the birthday dinner experience wonderful for my grandma. Jasmine is a high end Asian restaurant in the Bellagio hotel. We had a large group and we snag a table overlooking the fountains which was pretty cool. Great views at night. Had a funny waiter who did a great job. Served family style so waiter recommended a bunch of items that we shared, perfect amount and food was outstanding. Came here for my parent's 40th anniversary and was presented a surprise at the end of the meal with a platter of desserts. Crème brûlée, chocolate covered strawberries, custard and layered pineapple cake. All were really good! For our actual meal, we ordered the garlic XO green beans, steamed sea bass, beef tenderloin, seafood and tofu, and beef chow fun. There was 5 of us and we were absolutely stuffed at the end of the meal. There was plenty of food. The ambiance was decadent with lavish chandeliers hanging from the tall ceilings and the restaurant is right next to the Bellagio fountains so you get a really nice view of the fountain show as a back drop. After getting the cold shoulder at Lago, I decided to try my luck at Jasmine, a Chinese restaurant on the same Bellagio premises. My plan was to have something small, because I had dinner reservations elsewhere, later in the evening. The place has stunning decor, gorgeous seating and elegant table arrangements. But here too, the hostess offered me a seat only at the bar area. The main dining area, however, was almost empty, but they refused to sit me there, stating they were all reserved. I did not buy that. After speaking with the manager, who was also stubborn at first, then some arm twisting, and reasoning, a table became magically available. I then asked the hostess how come now you have a table? She did not reply. They seated me at a corner inconspicuous area, in the dining room. It is a lovely, bright and colorful environment (see my pictures of the locale). I had asked if I could take pictures and was sternly informed that it was OK as long as I did not take pictures of the customers. I wondered...do I really look that dumb :) It was now around mid afternoon and I ordered the Wor Wonton Soup (Shrimp, Scallops, BBQ Pork). It was an excellent preparation. The proteins, the temperature, the mild but distinct flavors, all harmoniously married each other to provide taste. When finished, I asked for the bill. They were visibly upset (not ordering more?) They reluctantly brought the check, then the machine, I tapped my card, the receipt came out and I got up to leave. Immediately, what seemed to be the head server, abruptly appeared in front of me and condescendingly asked if I had paid. I said I did. He then rudely instructed me stating that I could not leave till I had a receipt. I said I did and showed it to him. The server then got out of my way and allow me to exit towards the entrance. I have never experienced this type of humiliation anywhere else. I suppose there is a first time for everything. read more
