We've been twice. The first time we were pretty impressed. This most recent time was not good. First meal, we had potstickers, Mongolian beef and my favorite, mapo tofu (I don't see that on the current menu). Everything was good and we loved the views of course. Our last visit, we again had the potsickers (good) and the Mongolian beef (good), but we did the lobster, which you can get prepared two ways. Our waiter immediately recommended the fried preparation. That was a mistake. What arrived was a pile of deep fried whole lobster parts - at least, I believe that's what it was. Very hard to eat because you couldn't see from the breading where the meat was. Our server brought over a lobster cracker but we weren't sure how that would help. Maybe we just didn't know how to eat it? But we ended up just leaving it alone. And it was $198. Absolutely not worth it. We also had the walnut prawns, which were very standard - you can get this exact same dish in any strip mall in America. The service is good but they hover. At any given moment we had at least one and usually two servers staring at us intently just out of arms reach from our table. It's weird and it was like that both times. If you like that sort of thing, you're in luck here. This isn't awful food, but our meal was $400 and we didn't finish anything except the potstickers. We won't be coming back. read more

I was really looking forward to coming here and, don't get me wrong, It was really good. I think I just had higher expectations for the walnut shrimp which was delicious, but was not the best that I've ever had. The dining room and all the plates (love em) and the view of the fountains are glorious! They had an issue at the beginning when we sat at the bar waiting for our table where I guess their technology didn't work and they could only take cash and no credit cards. Luckily, they fixed it because I was thinking how are all those people in the dining room gonna pay, cause I guarantee you not everyone has cash... The pork belly was amazing and the best thing I had there. The coconut crème brûlée was really good. Crème brûlée is my favorite dessert and I was scared. It would have bits of coconut shards in there, but instead it was on the outside and then they had a mango purée and a mango ice cream on the side, which were so delicious! My friend had the baked Seabass, which she said was amazing as well. The service was good, but it could've been better. For example, when I was trying to make a decision on what to order I am always torn between a few dishes and when I asked between the chicken and the shrimp, the waiter just said well it depends on if you're in the mood for chicken or shrimp. This meal was a joke. And believe me, if I could come up with a better way to put it, I would. Szechuan chicken: no sauce. Just fried nuggets of chicken with no flavoring on it. The server brought some sauce for me upon request. $35 and it did not come with rice. Just some little fried nuggets on a plate. Eggrolls: four skinny eggrolls that you can get by the bag at any Costco. Same exact thing. $19 for four of them. Lemon chicken: dried out. Sauce was OK. Chicken fried rice: average. Went there today for their Lunar New Years brunch. It's a great looking restaurant with excellent views of the Bellagio Fountains. Service from the Hosts to the servers was excellent we felt really well taken care of. Is it expensive? Well yes ita I n the Strip at the Bellagio but everything we ate was well prepared and really high quality. We definitely took your share of the chilled seafood. King Crab, Oysters and huge Shrimp. Carving station had Prime Rib, Rack of Lamb and Peking Duck, all very tasty. Great assortment of Dim Sum also. We had the best experience in Las Vegas thanks to Jasmine. We loved all the details they put into this beautiful restaurant. The design theme has colorful butterflies throughout as the welcoming waitress explained. From the ceiling to the table cloths, the napkins and plates. Even the chopsticks are designed with the theme. We cannot leave out the fact that this beautiful restaurant has view to the Bellagio water show. Every 15 minutes at night time, we got to see the magical water show spectacle. The food was excellent, fresh taste of seafood and very meticulously placed in each plate adorned with each detail. Yes the food was excellent! We tried dumplings , roasted vegetables, and seafood. I was tempted to try the Peking Duck, but I will come back for it. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming from the host to the waitress made our stay unforgettable. I definitely recommend this place for an evening Las Vegas experience dinner. read more

We came to Jasmine this past Saturday night with my sister and brother in law, who were in from out of town. We had a reservation for 5:30pm, but arrived just a little early. They had no problem getting us right in and seated. The dining room is really beautiful. It has a kind of "retro Vegas" feel to it...not OLD Vegas, but...classic, this is what it looked like when it first opened, but really well maintained, if that makes sense. We had stellar service. Very attentive, and super helpful with recommendations. We ordered: The Far East Gin and Tonic: this was served with keffir lime leaves, lemongrass, and Szechwan peppercorns. It was lovely, and a perfect pour. We don't come to the strip often, and I don't pay $20 for a cocktail outside of a super special occasion, but I truly felt that this was a fair price for a good sized cocktail at the Bellagio. My sister and brother in law ordered a bottle of white wine: Whitehaven Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. I had a sip of it, and it was lovely. I caught some apricots on the nose. I definitely want to pick up a bottle. For appetizers, we ordered: Pot stickers: standard, delicious. Crushed cucumber: really fresh and delicious: sesame oil and black rice wine vinegar with cilantro. Corn chowder with lump crab: I didn't get any corn in the one bite I had (this was my sister's), but it was really tasty. It had kind of an egg drop or egg flower soup consistency, and lots of delicious crab. For entrees we ordered: Crispy Honey Sea Bass: This was the best dish of the night. Cooked to absolute perfection, with beautiful harmonious flavors...this dish was perfection. Szechwan shrimp: This was lovely. It had a nice heat, but wasn't overly spicy. The broth was very flavorful, and the shrimp were perfect. Teriyaki beef tenderloin: This was pretty good. The beef was very tender, but a little bland flavor wise. Veggie fried rice: meh. It didn't really scream "fried" rice. It was good in the broth of my shrimp though, so it served its purpose. Kung pao shrimp: Probably the least favorite of the night. My husband asked for extra spicy, and it wasn't spicy at all. The chicken was tender, but it just lacked the extra kick we expect with Kung Pao. The deserts were all amazing. I had the mocchi: black sesame, ube, and salted caramel. All delicious, but I think the black sesame and ube were tied for my favorite. My brother in law had the Coconut, which was an incredible creme brulee served with a keffir lime sorbet/shaved ice, and some kind of mango compote...SO. GOOD. My sister ordered the Jasmine strawberry, which was strawberry mousse. The presentation alone was stunning. The flavors were amazing too. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit. The only reason for 4 starts instead of 5 is that we didn't really feel that all of the dishes were worth the price...The Sea Bass was 100% worth the $52, but everything else we feel could have been a little less money for the portion size/value of flavor. That could just be a bias though, for a preference for a slightly more affordable spot off the strip that we love. The food is definitely good, and the atmosphere is wonderful for a special night. Excellent food, horrible horrible staff. That's why it's 3 stars. Every single human that works there, from the hostess to manager has the absolute worst attitude. They treat people like they are below them, and they are doing you a favor by letting you dine in their establishment. Manager speaks to you like you're a cockroach in his space. However- if you can tolerate the lying hostess and horrible service - the food is sensational. Wonderful ingredients and delicious plates. It's really a toss whether it's worth it or not. If you're a foodie and you don't mind being talked down to and disrespected- you'll have a good meal. However if you don't want to spend about $200-$250 per person to dine somewhere while they treat you like trash, avoid this place. We've dined here multiple times in the past few years- always hoping the bad service was because "oh it was a holiday weekend" "it was too crowded" "we were too early" "we dined late". Nope. Having eaten at authentic Cantonese restaurants in San Francisco, San Gabriel Valley, and NYC, the food here is decent. We ordered live spot prawns - 1 order boiled, the other steamed with garlic with vermicelli noodles (market price $110 per 6 pieces), salt and pepper scallops, crispy honey sea bass, and beef tenderloin asparagus with black pepper sauce. The seafood is indeed fresh (judging by taste). Portion sizes are on the smaller side, but the menu has a good variety of dishes. Most tables around us ordered more Americanized dishes, like fried rice and pot stickers. Our family was seated near center of the main windows and had a great view. We ordered a lot of food including: seafood dim sum platter, Szechuan spicy cold chicken, walnut prawns, hot & sour soup, coral cod, sliced abalone, Peking duck, spicy chicken clay pot, Mongolian beef, beef chow fun, fresh seasonal vegetables, assorted mochi dessert, coconut crème brûlée, and the chocolate strawberry. The food was great and the presentations were lovely. The service itself was less to be desired at the beginning of our meal as our server was a bit rude and midway through taking our order started talking to the table beside us, however his attitude took a 180 after we finished making our large order. The same server sweetened the deal by giving everyone at our table a complimentary almond dessert soup, which was refreshing after our large meal. Overall my family and I were pleasantly surprised. Came here for my parent's 40th anniversary and was presented a surprise at the end of the meal with a platter of desserts. Crème brûlée, chocolate covered strawberries, custard and layered pineapple cake. All were really good! For our actual meal, we ordered the garlic XO green beans, steamed sea bass, beef tenderloin, seafood and tofu, and beef chow fun. There was 5 of us and we were absolutely stuffed at the end of the meal. There was plenty of food. After getting the cold shoulder at Lago, I decided to try my luck at Jasmine, a Chinese restaurant on the same Bellagio premises. My plan was to have something small, because I had dinner reservations elsewhere, later in the evening. The place has stunning decor, gorgeous seating and elegant table arrangements. But here too, the hostess offered me a seat only at the bar area. The main dining area, however, was almost empty, but they refused to sit me there, stating they were all reserved. I did not buy that. After speaking with the manager, who was also stubborn at first, then some arm twisting, and reasoning, a table became magically available. I then asked the hostess how come now you have a table? She did not reply. They seated me at a corner inconspicuous area, in the dining room. It is a lovely, bright and colorful environment (see my pictures of the locale). I had asked if I could take pictures and was sternly informed that it was OK as long as I did not take pictures of the customers. I wondered...do I really look that dumb :) It was now around mid afternoon and I ordered the Wor Wonton Soup (Shrimp, Scallops, BBQ Pork). It was an excellent preparation. The proteins, the temperature, the mild but distinct flavors, all harmoniously married each other to provide taste. When finished, I asked for the bill. They were visibly upset (not ordering more?) They reluctantly brought the check, then the machine, I tapped my card, the receipt came out and I got up to leave. Immediately, what seemed to be the head server, abruptly appeared in front of me and condescendingly asked if I had paid. I said I did. He then rudely instructed me stating that I could not leave till I had a receipt. I said I did and showed it to him. The server then got out of my way and allow me to exit towards the entrance. There was a 20-minute wait which seems ridiculous considering the restaurant was 2/3 empty. The service and views of the fountain were good and the food was good and pretty authentic hence the 3-star. The food is way overpriced especially calling out the $68 seafood tofu pot. There was more tofu than seafood. You can go to any Chinese restaurant just west of the strip and get a seafood tofu pot for less than $30. read more

We did not have reservation with Jasmine last Sunday night but the host made it possible for party of 4 at a later time. We waited but it took us about 15-20 minutes to get a table. There was a nice plate setting on the table but later the plate was removed. The server said it was for decor only. They call it charger plates. We asked about the two kinds of chopsticks . The white chopstick is for personal use and the red chopstick is for serving. Good to know for non-chopsticks user. The plates were replaced with a real plate for use. We told the server that we were doing family style. We ordered Seafood Dimsum Platter as starter. We ordered 2 wonton soups that we shared. We got Tofu Claypot and Chicken Chow Mein. The service was superb. The ambiance was excellent. The food was delicious & delectable. They share the space with the Noodles restaurant as the Noodle restaurant is under renovation. Overall, it is a place to go fine dining for Cantonese food. We will return when the vacation allows us to visit Las Vegas again. read more

Four of us dined here on Christmas Eve. I loved the butterfly theme, the dinner plates were stunning and so was the view of the fountains. Two of us arrived earlier than the other two and were seated. When our server came over we told her that the other were dealing with holiday traffic and would be here shortly. She didn't come back to check on us for quite some time ( a good 15 min) so we asked the gentlemen pouring our water if we could order a cocktail. The waitress comes over, takes our drink order and then comes back with the drinks and the manager. At this point all four of us are at the table. The manager says that she's so sorry about the long wait and that she would comp the first round of drinks and strongly encouraged the other two guests to have a cocktail on the house. Which was so kind. We order our dinner and it arrives in a good amount of time. The meal was good. I really enjoyed the potstickers more than anything. We proceed to ask for the check and that waitress asks us if we would like dessert. We all decline. Next thing we know she's bringing out plates and spoons and says that she wanted to give us a dessert. When the check arrives, the first round of drinks are still on the check so we mentioned to the server that the manager said she was going to comp the first round of drinks. She said, instead of comping the drinks I decided to give you a free dessert. We didn't give her any pushback, but that just rubbed us the wrong way. I ordered a bowl of WonTon soup, it was served in a bowl the size of a coffee mug. It contained two half dollar sized wontons, 1 piece of shrimp, 1 scallop and 1 piece of pork for $18. We had 5 pot stickers and one entree of beef and broccoli. Total bill was $92 for one cup of soup, 5 pot stickers and one entree. All the food was okay, nothing special. The ambiance is beautiful; especially seated in the lower section to view the Bellagio Fontaine. I ordered the lemon Chicken/Asparagus. The chicken was amazing; tender with wonderful flavor. The asparagus was delicious. All servers were kind, professional, and on their job. At anytime during our dinner, the server was there on the spot to assist. I have been several times to Jasmine. Holiday brunch 2025 feels like a ripoff. The buffet went downhill post covid with a premium price tag. I had expected some mind blowing, elevated Chinese cuisine experience that is beyond panda express but what I got was a slow service, low stocked buffet with maybe 20 items. Food was cold, not hot. Though there isn't a limit on any item, people just loaded up on their plates and wasted everything they didn't finish. Some would hog all the crab legs or flip the lobsters to find the meatiest pieces when literally the staff would refill everything when they saw it was running empty. Dim sum items were a big let down with some dumplings and shu mai to represent that category. It's $128.88 before tax and tip per head so it feels like a ripoff for the little value we got. I never heard or knew this place existed until we were walking around the Bellagio, tried to get a reservation at Noodles but it was an hour wait, and then my GF mentioned she saw another Chinese restaurant around the corner. We were starving so we walked over and was seated immediately. The restaurant is very upscale and nice, definitely one of the nicer Chinese restaurants I've ever been to. I've been eating Chinese food all my life so I've been to a few. All the dishes, utensils and even the menu were super fancy. There's also a great view of the Bellagio fountains all around the restaurant through the windows. Great ambiance. There were 3 of us, so we all chose a dish. The selections were beef chow fun, lobster fried rice, and the steak cubes. We were absolutely blown away by the food. Everything was delicious! I was a little caught off guard because I wasn't expecting the food to taste this good, especially in Vegas, on the strip. Every dish was cooked perfectly, and was cooked in a very hot wok. You can taste of the hot wok flavor, which is exactly what I look for in great Chinese food. The steak cubes were fantastic, very tender and juicy, and the vegatables gave it a good balance. The beef chow fun is a classic. The lobster fried rice was amazing. We devoured all 3 plates and contemplated on ordering more, but we decided to call it and try other places since there's so many other options. The staff was very nice and attentive. The man was answering our questions and suggesting what's good on the menu. Thank you! Now, I gave 5 stars for the food/service. If it was possible, I would give 4.5. The portions were a little small, and the prices were pretty steep for Chinese food. But, I remind myself that's it's Vegas, on the strip, at the Bellagio. So it's expected.. Overall, EXCELLENT! Jasmine food was pretty good but disappointed in their service. There was a solo guy siting at a table on his cellphone using the speaker and it was very loud and annoying. Although there was many open seats. We were seated immediately in front of this guy. I gave him a few annoyed looks hoping he'd get the message to at lead turn off the speaker but he just ignored us, so I asked to be move. As we passed two tables we could hear them make comments about this loud guy. It was that obvious. He could be heard throughout the entire restaurant. Although it's a great location to view the water fountain show and the decor is quite cute. The lack of action to resolve this obnoxious guy or to automatically seat patrons away from him was very disappointing not what I'd expect from a "higher end" and very pricey Chinese food restaurant. read more

We went to Jasmine's to celebrate my husband's birthday. I Pre ordered and paid for the table side whole duck a week before we dined at Jasmine's. Along with our appetizers we received duck skin dish, which we did not order. When I asked what it is. I was told that it is the duck. I told them that I ordered the whole duck. I was told something in a very fast way which I did not understand. I let it go since I was confused as to what was happening. I was still expecting to receive the duck that I had pre ordered. Later along with our main dishes, a dish was brought out that looked like lettuce with meat in it. I asked what it was. I was told that it is the duck I ordered. I told them that I had pre ordered the table side duck. We were told that they are short staffed and therefore they are serving it this way for us. They said that it is the same duck but shredded and put in lettuce leaves. We said we don't want that dish. We simply want what we pre-paid for. A manager came to our table. He apologized. My husband told him that we do understand that things happen at a restaurant. The proper way for a high-end restaurant to handle a situation like this would have simply been to inform the costumer firsthand that they cannot serve the duck that was ordered due to staffing issues. Instead of misleading the costumer and giving the costumer something that was not ordered. He took the shredded duck back and said he would comp the duck. During this conversation I could see a whole duck being served to the table that was above us. We could see whole ducks being served continuously while we were there. We even pointed this to the server. She laughed it off and offered us desert. The whole experience was ruined for us. We are still not sure why we were the only table that was not served our pre ordered duck, while other tables around us were being served the whole duck at table side. We left disappointed, it felt like waste of our time, and it ruined my husband's birthday. The food is ok. For what it is, its overpriced, ambience needs an upgrade. Maybe the duck would have been good, but we didn't get to find out. Our only positive experience was with Kathy the server. read more

It's a nice restaurant with the fountain view and the water show keep playing. The food was great and the pecking duck was fantastic. The only thing that ruined everything was the service from the server that server us. Being a high end restaurant I wasn't expecting that kind of service that he is giving us.
