It's not like it was super busy yet us took over 10 minutes just to place our order. We ordered the following items. Even then it took around 15 mins to get our food. 1). Two pork & shrimp egg rolls. They were tasty but were burnt. (2 stars ) 2). My stand by shrimp egg foo yung. Tasty as always Very good (4 stars ) 3). Combo platter - called No 1 dish in the World? How & why? The dish had, chicken, shrimp, peapods, tomato's, & beef . The beef in the dish had a rancid taste. I should have sent this back (1 Star ) Service was very slow between ordering, receding the food & waiting to receive the check (2 stars )) Usually we come at lunchtime where the price difference between lunch & dinner is huge). The lunch is a much better deal for the same dishes). This restaurant usually has decent quality food but if I come back it will be for lunch & not dinner as the price point is much more affordable.

I see the Chinese decor, the zodiac paper under the plates, the koi fish tank, and the smell of authentic Chinese food. The food overall was decent; I really enjoyed getting the fried chicken, lumpia, and egg rolls. Some of the noodles dishes and vegetables dishes we got were a little too mushy for my liking and a little bit too drenched. Overall though, I still liked the food, and it's a good price for doing family style. I do enjoy the fact that they have a parking lot, and the server was very friendly when it came to taking our order and making sure we had everything we needed. He packed up the food for us when we left and even took a couple pictures for my family.

Private parking lot is what I appreciated as I have a big car. Other big cars were in the lot as well. There is indoor dining and diners and to go customers (like myself) were pleased with their orders. I ordered moo shu shrimp and 2 egg rolls-so delicious!! The sauce was fantastic! I asked for more sauce when I picked it up and was very pleased! I will admit I ate my meal right away and loved it! Great customer service, great location. I will return. Cheers!~

The owner is very welcoming and the place is small, but cozier than I expected. I had some worries about Mongolian cuisine, since I only eat fish and vegetarian food. Because of the landlocked country's very cold climate and lack of rivers/lakes -- making produce, rice, and spices very difficult to grow -- this is a cuisine that's all based on meat, animal fats, dairy, and some noodles and dumplings, with some culinary influences from it's neighbors Russia and China. But the owner is very helpful. After giving us tea and golden-fried dough balls as a classic Mongolian welcoming appetizer, she said they could make me one of the Chinese-inspired glass noodle dishes with just vegetables. It was a generous portion, seasoned in a no-frills way with salt and pepper, but very tasty. My husband, who eats meat, had the much more traditional buuz, which are dumplings with meat. He was happy with it. We also got a sauerkraut and carrot side salad with light vinegar, and a Russian-inspired potato salad with carrots, peas, pickles, and mayo that is not vegetarian -- it tasted quite savory and a little smoky, and we think it had some ham in it. And of course we had to try the Mongolian milk tea, which is made with green tea, whole milk, butter, and it's slightly salted (in Mongolia, this would be made with horse milk.) It's an acquired taste, but it fits the cuisine. The whole experience and friendly hospitality of the owner made this a fun dinner for us. Note: although they have "Mongolian beef" on their menu, that is actually NOT a Mongolian dish -- that was an invention by a Taiwanese restaurateur who used the name for marketing purposes.

She immediately recommended the signature dishes knowing that most people probably have had little exposure to Mongolian food. We ended up ordering the steamed dumplings (Buuz) and the lamb noodle soup. My goodness, it blew us away! Dumplings were clearly handcrafted and steamed to perfection. Just the right wrapper and meat proportion. The lamb noodle soup was generous in meat portion and noodles soft but chewy. Anna will recommend the beef pastry as that's the signature dish of Mongolia, so I intend to try that next time I'm in. If you're looking for something outside of the ordinary and tasty, I would highly recommend coming here!

Our most recent order included General Tso's Chicken (still my husband's favorite, which he said this time was sweeter and not as spicy as when he's had it before), and Ham Egg Foo Yung (mine, and it was good, but I do wish there was a little more seasoning either in the patty or the gravy -- it was blander than I'm used to from other places). I called in the order at dinnertime on a Friday night, and it was ready in 15 minutes as promised. I call that a huge win! We're so lucky to have this place close to home.

The one drawback about these stalls in grocery store setting they always seem to be stingy about extra utensils, bowls or even napkins. They barely give you any napkins and they are usually extra thin too. I have to remember to bring my own napkins when dining at these locations.

We ordered lunch specials and a couple extra must-try plates. Two specials hit the table and the third was left waiting for her meal. Unbeknownst to us in the moment, her food was handed to a single patron there for his lunch. The place was filling up with a lunch rush but not so many that had complicated orders. Many were ordering similar lunch specials. Kung pao lunch special was popular. When her order finally arrived the supervisor realized she had given the wrong plate to the customer sitting some tables behind us. Mind you ten minutes had already passed. She quickly went over to him and asked what he had ordered. She then took the plate he was eating from and handed him the fresh plate. He was still holding a half eaten egg roll in his hand. Then she brought the quarter eaten plate and placed it in front of my mother. Before she could leave I stopped her and asked her what she was doing. She simply stated that was her lunch order. I told her she handed my mother someone else's food that they were eating and I watched the whole thing. Why didn't you take that to the back and make a completely new plate of food?! I paid the bill and got the F**k out. That's gross. Also, you gave the other patron new food but cannot do the same for our table?? This place is dead to me. If she could do that, it beckons the question of what else is happening behind the scenes.
