I went to Jason Deli at 1520 N Hwy 377. @6:04pm... I went through the drive-through and ordered a Plain Jane Potato it was so burnt that you could taste the Burt skin if you dug to deep in. I could only eat the top layer of the potato leaving about 1/2 inch to an inch in. Some parts of the potato because it was Burt. My mom ordered a California club with no mayo and of course they put mayo on it. I also ordered a bowl of broccoli and cheese soup with wafer crackers (from the buffet) instead of saltine Crackers and I re asked about the wafer crackers at the window and she said yes, no problem. But of course when I got home no wafer crackers but 2 saltines in the bag. I have been going to Jason deli for years and this was the worse experience I ever had at a Jason Deli. read more

Good food handling practices. They ask if gf is a preference or an allergy. My sandwich came out in a takeout container and I was given a sealed bag of chips to avoid cross contamination. There is a gluten free menu with salads, soups, etc. Sandwiches, other than muffulettas, can be done on gf bread. Corned beef was good! read more

2nd time at this location & unfortunately, the same issue: completely dirty: floors, benches, tables! Not at a high traffic time either! To start, the restaurant was very dirty, dirty tables, trash on the floors, salad bar a mess. I ordered a sandwich and it has one thinly shaved slice of turkey, I went and asked for more turkey as I am used to the sandwiches having a nice thick layer of meat. The rude guy making the sandwich said and I quote "this is all the meat we put on sandwiches now, management told us to use less meat ", ridiculous! If that's the case I won't be back. In addition, I ordered the broccoli cheese soup that was nothing more than a thick, disgusting paste, it was very disappointing. The chicken salad is delicious. That being said I asked for it on rye bread, cashier asked if wanted lettuce and tomato on it and I said no. This was a to go order with another sandwich. We didn't know where to wait for it, it finally came out after 20+ min. The bag felt light and I realized they put the chicken salad in a container. I don't usually DoorDash, but I really didn't want to go out and needed to get something to eat. I ordered a salad with salmon. The price was absolutely outrageous, but I knew I was paying for convenience and it was fine. When I opened my bag I had a cup of salmon. I thought that was a little odd and it looked a little small so I weighed it. It weighs a little over 3 oz. That's ridiculous! I order salmon when I'm out and generally get a 5 oz portion. I am used to the Jason's Deli in Alliance Town Center and I have to say this place is absolutely horrible compared to that location. I typically try not to write bad reviews but I feel like I need to warn any people who are planning to eat here. 1. The line to order was so slow, it took us about 10 minutes just to place an order. They were training a new employee however the two girls seemed to be more about chatting with each other and laughing rather than taking people's orders. Not kidding, the new employee gave the other girl a hug while they were taking a customers order. I am sure resting her head on the other girls shoulder was essential to taking orders. 2. I went to grab some salad at the salad bar and there was hair in the jalapeño container. A nice long curly hair that seasoned my jalapeños 3. I asked for chips with my meal and got fruit, I let them know and they took my plate and came back with the chips probably from the bottom of the bag because there was not one chip that was larger than my pinky fingernail. 4. We ordered some chicken nugget meals for our kiddos and when the employee came to drop it off, she dropped a chicken nugget and still gave us the meal, one chicken nugget missing and walked off saying "enjoy your meal." What irked me about this was that it wasn't a chip or one French fry that fell off, but a whole chicken nugget. We paid $4.29 plus tax for one kids meal and we technically only received 3/4 of the meal without even being offered a replacement chicken nugget or any solution to rectify the situation. 5. We saw an employee sit down on a couch meant for customers (for those customers that are waiting on their to-go food) wearing his gloves. After he finished his peaceful break he did not change his gloves and continued to prepare orders with the same gloves that were resting on said couch. Bottom line: This location is slow and dirty. Truly hurts that this review is being written, due to fond memories of the Jason's Deli franchise, but this location is an absolute mess and without reviews management would not know what goes on in the day to day activities if they are not there. My family moved over to this side of town recently and Jason's is one of the closest food option to their house. I have been home visiting and have been to Jason's twice now. The first experience was ok. Customer service was good, but as soon as there was a problem it seemed as though the staff couldn't be more put out about bringing out a wrong item. My mom ordered the Zucchini Grillini with no onion or hummus, and they brought out a Chicken Panini instead. The Panini was returned and the Grillini was supposedly on the way. We all waited for the Grillini to come out before eating, but unfortunately our food got cold since it took the kitchen around 10 min to get her food out, which had onions and hummus on it. The hummus was scraped off and onions were removed by my mom, we ate, and got out. Fast forward to tonight and it seemed as if the restaurant was a disaster. The salad bar was messy, low on items, muffins were rock hard, and they had tiny square napkins in the regular branded rectangle napkin holder that mostly came out shredded due to the ill fitting shape. It was aggravatingly hot inside for being 67° outside with insane humidity. Got enough to break a sweat. We all sit down, parents get their salads, and low and behold gnats, everywhere buzzing around the table and around the salads. And there's more -- I order a California Club and I am 2-3 bites in a long blonde hair is entangled in the lettuce and meat. WOO HOO. I am a steady customer of Jason's in Roanoke TX. I usually get the Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut. I find it to be the best in the area. It is made to order with fresh ingredients. I use their mobile app and saved that sandwich as one of my favorites. What do I like about the sandwich; it's made of fresh ingredients, it's a great portion, it's tasty, and chips are included. Their customer service is excellent and when I had to wait for 2 minutes once at the takeout window, they offered me a free drink and chips. It's great that without asking and without seeming dissatisfied, they wanted to ensure I was satisfied. This is great customer satisfaction and they continue to retain my business. I'm giving a 3.5 Star because manager was accommodating due to downed phones at the one in Alliance. But there were a few issues. First delivery. We set the time for 7pm and manager said that would be great but delivery came around 5:20 which is nearly 2 hrs before the hubs comes home. So while i appreciated the delivery, it was off putting. We ordered chicken salad sandwich, side salad with extra ranch (managers special) with half a cowboy. Also ordered large fruit salad. They forgot the extra salad dressing but i lived. Where they lost a lot of respect was the fruit salad. Wish I'd taken photos. I asked for grapes, pineapple and strawberries only, with the yogurt dipping sauce. I did not get the sauce, though it wouldn't have mattered because all the fruit except some grapes were ROTTEN. All the strawberries were complete mush. Like rotten mush. A couple of pieces of pineapple were ok but majority was a dark mushy inedible old pineapple. Almost as if previously frozen which i know it wasn't. In fact that's how strawberries were. How they are after you've bought frozen strawberries and they defrost and are mush. It was so gross. I couldn't believe a person with any brain cells could put rotten strawberries in a container and think it's ok. Now i adore Jason's deli. It's a favorite. But wow. I was shocked. For 7$ the fruit was atrocious. The rest of our meal was fine. Manager was great. I knew he was about to leave after taking my order so i think perhaps his staff made the mistakes. The delivery driver (i have a ring bell) freaked me out because i was in bed with flu and figured he wouldn't be there for another 90 minutes, when i asked what happened he said the manager told him to bring it now because of traffic. Which makes no sense since traffic at 530 is much worse than if they'd waited till 7pm. read more

Went a couple of time to the Roanoke location in search of a BLT. Simple? One might think. Today I ordered a Create Your Sandwich. Bacon sandwich with mayo and extra bacon, and a Broccoli Cheese Soup with half of a Bacon, tomato sandwich. What I got was a bacon sandwich with an egg and maybe three strips of bacon. And a half bacon sandwich with bacon, egg, mayo, lettuce and Avocado. No! This we waited on for twenty five minutes. Sent my half sandwich back with the request of bacon and tomato only. Came back with mayo and avocado, (no egg). When I called the manager's attention to this, she said we don't offer bacon sandwiches. What?? read more

Just had the worst encounter so far at this Jason's Deli. Others have mentioned the Togo lines and the drive thru. But I've never encountered it until today. Ordered some food for curbside pickup. Parked in the curbside pickup sport 10min before my estimated time. 10min after my target time for my order had elapsed, I decided to call to check on it. The nice girl who answered the phone said "yep of course it's ready", eluding it's been ready for some time. I replied, "it's curbside pickup are you going to bring it out to me?" She said "I'm sure" as if she's unaware of how the concept of curbside pickup works. Asked me what car I was in even though it's on the ticket. Needless to say I get the food. It was cold because of course it had been sitting there for some time. Moral is would I go here? Yes. Just avoid expecting any service outside of the actual restaurant. Go there and place a to go order or dine in. Heaven forbid you ask them to bring food out to your car or deliver. And to add the proverbial icing on the cake, they actually forgot our deserts. When calling them to ask what the issue was they had to check to make sure my deserts were in fact missing. And refunded me those. But no acknowledgement of the "questionable" service. read more

They take forever to get food that was meant to be done 10 minutes ago, and usually give you the wrong thing or try and give you someone else's order. Very terrible system. So very disappointed with our visit to this location tonight. I usually love Jason's and look forward to the few and far between times that I get to enjoy eating there. I give 2 stars only because the staff was very friendly. As for the food and the store, it was horribly dirty and the salad bar was atrocious. Most of the items were either not filled or looked like they had been sitting there all day. There was a DEAD FLY in the blue cheese dressing. I received a very polite apology when I alerted the staff to the situation, but seriously...GROSS. The watermelon was mushed, the pudding was mangled, and the pasta salads (or anything else) weren't labeled, so unsure what was in them. I honestly have never been to a Jason's that was this dirty and neglectful of the salad bar. There must've been nine people behind the hot counter, but it seems none of them gave two hoots about the main attraction of Jason's...the salad bar. Won't be visiting this location again.
