This was my first visit to a Jason's Deli and I was surprised by the quantity and variety of menu items. The salad bar looked delicious but I went with the Mediterranean Wrap after the friendly cashier told me that was her favorite. It was stuffed with turkey, hummus, cucumbers, olives, etc, and very tasty. For the side, I selected steamed veggies (I have to watch my girlish figure). I'll definitely be back to try other things, including the salad bar. I will say that I received a gift card a long time ago and didn't realize that the card actually deducts money if you haven't used it in 12 or 18 months or something, so my $20 gift card had $4 by the time I used it on this trip. I hope they no longer have this policy on their gift cards, as it is a rip off to the customer. Well, it's because I got a salad bar and a drink...and it ran me over $10! What in the world? A sandwich that has more food and meat on it costs a lot less than a simple salad bar? I'm confused. While on holiday in Texas my girlfriend suggested this place because we were both craving deli meats and she had just gotten over a cold so she needed real food. I had gotten the pastrami sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, big serving, was pretty juicy, and when I say pretty, I mean that it was already given time to cool to the point of irritation. It said steaming hot sandwich, mine was anything but. I walked over to the serving counter where they pile the food to be delivered and saw mine just sitting there while they took a bunch of more recent orders were taken out before mine. I brought it up to them and they gave it to me. I brought it up to my girlfriend but she doesn't like it when I bring up a restaurant's shortcomings to them... Either way I ate my food and was still satisfied about it, but would've been moreso satisfied if it was ACTUALLY HOT... I also saw some of the servers just hanging out in their area behind the counter while one or two others did all the other serving. Love the salad bar. Soup of the day is a nice add on. I don't really go for sandwiches, but the salad bar has more than enough options. It seems like they do a good job of keeping an eye on the salad bar to make sure nothing runs out. The vegetables always look and taste fresh. It like that they have the potato salad, bean salad, tuna salad and other other items available. They also added an avocado dressing. It's good. This place gets pretty busy with the Dell crowd from 12 - 1, but they get people in and the tables cleaned fast, so it's never impossible to find a place to sit. I've been going here for years. WOW What an amazing place. At first I was a little disappointed, having been to Jerry's Deli with over 600 selections. I was looking at the 20-30 Jason has and finally decided on the Beefeater (French Dip) with French Onion soup. I can tell you that was one of the best sandwich I have ever had at a deli or sandwich shop. The French Onion soup was pretty good, somehow it was labeled as Vegetarian, interesting since FO soup is usually made with beef stock. The best part is the free ice cream. read more

Four stars not because this is amazing food, but because it hits a spot when you're looking for soups, sandwiches, salads-- maybe even a fruit plate. It's a great deli chain where for a reasonable price you can choose from lots of attractively prepared sandwiches or enjoy a fresh salad bar (not all you can eat, but you can easily make a meal with one go-around.) Now that Fresh Choice is gone (very sad), this provides an interesting alternative. My wife hates sandwiches, so maybe this is a man's thing, although a lot of women eat here. At noon, it's jammed. Stopped by this Jason's on two different evenings for a bowl of soup. Service through the ordering line as well as food delivery to the table was quick and friendly. I am a regular customer of Jason's Deli and always order online for delivery, but today I logged in to find that they have increased their already overblown $5 delivery fee to a whopping $7.00 and changed the minimum order from $20 to $25. I've been here around 5-6 times, and i know ill be coming back a lot more often. The Poppa Joe is by far my favorite thing here. Sandwiches come with chips and a pickle so no real need for sides. The price is really decent, and they have plenty of space inside. Continually improving their appearance, you can expect top see these restaurants getting more and more classy. Not a lot of TVs, so just plan on eating and leaving or bring a friend. Bring earbuds for your iphone if youre a real shut in. Not so fast! Salad bar is a no-brainer - perfect slow-carb option (organic greens!) - Get eggs & bean mix for protein+fiber, and hummus to seal the deal. Sandwich/wrap varieties are a-plenty, and for you starch-mongers, they have genetically-engineered super-sized baked potatoes. Food for all! This is always my go-to place when I want a great salad. The veggies are fresh and there is a great variety. The dressings actually have flavor unlike the "souper" salad competition across the street. Sandwiches are really good, too. I like the beefeater, the club sandwich on the croissant, the soups are good, the fruit cups are fresh, the coffee is decent, the iced tea is good... yeah... I like this place. My kids and wife like this place, too. My little one loves the kid's spaghetti. I've tasted it an been tempted to order it myself - the portion is good for what someone *should* eat. Warning... if you order the baked potato you need to bring friends. They take the biggest potatoes I've ever seen and smash TWO of them together. It's a chain, but the food is fresh and tasty. They use 3rd party delivery services such as Doordash, Uber Eats etc., to deliver large orders that their employees can't do. But for some reason this establishment thinks it's ok to keep the drivers tips since we are not employees of theirs, which is wrong because we use our personal vehicles and put in our own gas just for them to withhold the money. Pretty horrible excuse for a Jason's Deli. I've eaten at a lot, and this one is at the bottom for both food and customer service. The manager stared at us when we approached the register to order without a greeting at all until another employee, Jordon, motioned for us to come to his register. If you're not taking orders, at least say hello or look like you're doing something instead of having customers wait. Then the person at the end of the counter wouldn't give us salad bowls even though they were on our receipt. I apologize to that teenage girl for the obvious stress I caused when I asked her to do her job. Then the chili was served cold. Instead of checking the pot to ensure the rest of the chili was at the right temperature, they just threw our bowl in the microwave. Banner day for Jason's Deli. This one needs a revamp or a new manager to relight the spark. Being located at such a big intersection is the only reason this one stays open, IMO. read more

Pros: Clean, usually fresh food, gluten-free bread available, and plenty of menu choices. Con: Staff makes mistakes often and Jason's Deli does not serve beer. This Jason's Deli basically works like other Jason's Delis. It's good to have a separate take-out line but, at this location, the take-out line gets in the way of the dine-in line. The cash register staff almost never know the list of vegetables I can add to my "make your own sandwich", a standard menu item. Every other visit, someone's order gets messed up in some way. The most recent visit, everyone's order got messed up a little. And the tickets have what we want clearly listed (I saw it myself) so the kitchen staff are obviously illiterate or just don't care. However, the food quality is relatively consistent, and it's easy to get the staff to fix your order without complaint (or too much eye-rolling), so I only marked down one star for frequent mistakes. read more

When I walked in the place looked nasty, but, I wanted a salad. The staff was very "mmeh". I really didn't think much about it. We ordered our salads...there was a worker named "liberty" who was standing behind the counter and said, and i quote " I'm not making any more salads....i have made 12 salads today, im not making anymore" then walked over to the salad bar and pretended to wipe it down while either on the phone or listening music......about 20 minutes and 8 orders later still no salad. The rest of the staff remained clueless about our order. The manager knew we weren't happy, but never asked what was wrong. Once they finally figured out they had not made our order they asked what dressing we wanted. I asked for ranch. They yelled over to "Liberty" to make my dressing, she had gloves on, yet dug in her ear then made my dressing.....eew. This by far was the WORST experience. Fresh salad bar. One of my pet peeves at Jason's Delis are when they don't wash the mushrooms on the salad bar and this location does wash them. Service was friendly. They have a quick self serve pay terminal when you just want soup and salad and you're paying with a card. No lines that way. This location gets busy at lunch during the week. read more

My wife and I have been order from Jason's Deli for a while. When we moved into our current house we started frequenting togo orders at this location. The experience has always been poor, going to this location, like they have never been able to figure out how to manage the to go workflow, even in down times. A few times I was able to go, order a salad bar and get my food by the time my salad was ready. The vast majority of the time, I would show up and order and have a 10 minute wait before my food would show up. Eventually, I started placing my orders for pickup from their website. But this has proven to be a nightmare as well. Today, my experience was the final straw. I ordered online at 11:45 AM, from my office. Drove to pick up my order, arriving around 12PM. There was a lunch rush, there, but I was able to quickly get up to the counter to pay. My food wasn't read at that point, so I stood off to the side. For 20 minutes I stood there and watched people walk up to the to go counter, place a new order and 4-5 minutes later their name was called to get there food. Many of these people walked in and picked up a menu, so I know they hadn't ordered prior to arriving. When I finally received my order, from what I assume was a manager based on how she was dressed, she shoved the food in my general direction with a look of exasperation on her face. I replied with "Thanks, can I ask why it took so long to get my order ready when I was seeing people order and get their food while I've been here?" In my mind I was trying to figure out the best strategy to order my food going forward. She gave me a look of derision and explained that she wasn't going to deal with that now because it was a lunch rush. When I got to my house with the lunch, my soup was old and over cooked. My wife said her sandwich wasn't very good. Which is odd because all of the things we ordered had been ordered before. Today is the last day I will be going to Jason's Deli. And it's honestly mostly to do with the attitude of the manager I spoke with when I inquired about what took so long. I can honestly understand things taking a while during a lunch rush, but when somebody is trying to figure out how to improve their experience and you won't even talk to them about what happened, that's unacceptable. read more

you just can't go wrong there are so many combinations! sandwich and a salad, that's nice. sandwich and a soup is also nice! .Just a big ole' sandwich is good, even!!!!. It's amazing. The flavor profile is right and the provolone melted over the top is perfect. The slices of fresh onion and bread also add to the perfection. Their broccoli & cheese soup is also amazing. The tortilla is pretty yummy, as well! i Love making a "salad". (is it salad when it's 50% cheeses? i dunno. whatever.) i use spinach for the base of my cheese fest, throw on a few veg's. and feel good about my choices.
