Hot Roast Beef on NOLA French Bread
    Mark M.

Went for the first time today for lunch. As others have mentioned this place gets busy at lunchtime. I ordered the Hot Roast Beef on French bread and I was very happy I did. The bread was very good and reminded me of my home town. The food was hot and fresh and the Salt and vinegar chips were hard to stop eating. This is a very large sandwich shop with tons of choices. The salad bar looked like it would be a good choice for anyone looking for healthy options. I look forward to taking my wife who loves Muffalettas and the fact that they sell quarter size will be perfect for her. Looking forward to our next visit.

    California club sans bacon

Came here for lunch to have one of my fave sandwiches--minus the bacon. The California club was delicious, the fruit selection was sweet n fresh and that fruit dip??? It's the stuffs of gods.

    Italian Cruz Po'boy Regular
    Cristine O.

I ordered the Italian Cruz po'boy for a quick to go lunch last Friday. I was hoping it would hit the spot but sadly it didn't. I think it was Italian dressing that was drizzled on top. It tasted more like it was poured upon! That and the different types of meat tasted the same. Although it was probably because of the dressing overpowering everything. I will say the veggies managed to stay crisp and fresh. The bread was also soft and warm. Although I'll be visiting another sandwich joint next time I get a hankering for an Italian

chicken Caesar salad, beef stew, and a manager special including a half sandwich of a bigger better blt, chips and broccoli cheddar soup
    Sandra K.

We ordered a small chicken Caesar salad, a bowl of beef stew, and a manager special including a half sandwich of a bigger better BLT, chips and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It all came out to $24. We love their soups, salads and sandwiches and especially their free ice cream cones. We brought my boyfriend's father one time and he enjoyed his soup and sandwich too. It's affordable and a quick fix to your cravings! All their food is always so flavorful and have great textures. Would definitely recommend.

    Strawberry cheesecake

I really like this place and live really close so I can't believe I have not been going here more often. The deli id so nice it has a full salad bar, sandwich making process on display different chips and drinks as well as a great variety of topping options. I ordered online for pickup and created my own sandwich, it was delicious but also a little dry considering the type of bread and that they aren't too liberal with the spreads. I also ordered chips a drink and a slice of cheesecake, they forgot to put the chips on the bag so I didn't get them but overall I really enjoyed the real deli experience and the taste of the food. I would definitely recommend and will be returning

    Plain Jane Potato with Ham
    Chanel M.

For some reason the option to order online wasn't working for me so I stopped in, ordered and was gone in about 8 mins. I got a Plain Jane Potato except I added a bit of Ham ($2 extra). Jason's Deli is always a good option for a fresh bite to eat!

I always enjoy having the salad bar here. I like the fresh vegetables and healthy options. They are constantly replenishing and maintaining the wide selection of eats. I will have to try one of the many sandwiches and soup selections the next time I dine in. They all look delicious.

BLT with egg and Mac n cheese
    Jake H.

Jason's Deli La Frontera used to be our weekly spot growing up but it has been a long time since I've been back. I was craving a good ole sandwich so went back and got the BLT with an egg and the Mac n cheese. You can still get ice cream, just need to ask the staff for a cone or cup. Jason's gets busy at lunch so try to get their a little earlier.

Go here regularly for the salad bar, really cannot beat it. They keep it stocked with fresh veggies and the price is decent.

Very pricey for slightly less than ordinary food. Self serve line is disorganized, as well. I got prison flashbacks from staff.

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).

They offer two sizes, and we ordered the smaller regular Americana Cheesesteak, the Cartel, a shared order of fries, and two fountain drinks. Our total came to about $35, which felt like a good value for the amount of food. Service was friendly and they served our food to the table very fast. The fries were your typical frozen fries and came unseasoned, but that wasn't a big deal. We added our own seasoning. One thing to note is that they only serve Pepsi products. That's a big bummer for me because I'm a Dr Pepper girl, but it isn't a complete dealbreaker because they also offer tea. Now let's talk about my sandwich. It was loaded with so much meat that I couldn't even fit it in my mouth! I ended up taking some of the meat out and adding it to the fries, which turned out yummy. The steak was well seasoned, and the lettuce, tomato, and mayo ratio tasted perfect. If you're looking for a hearty cheesesteak that will definitely fill you up, Wise Guys is worth checking out. I'll definitely be back!

Their service can be inconsistent though as the first time we came here, it was slow. However our second time here was completely different (different staff were working); the girls were quick and efficient. That being said, their food quality each time was pretty consistent which was a plus! We had their Firehouse meatball on garlic bread and Firehouse steak & cheese. Both were delicious. You can choose your bread (white, wheat, or gluten-free), and we went with wheat. I really love their bread as it has the perfect chew to it. The meatball sub was good but a bit too salty which was a mistake on my part to order it on garlic bread which was already salted. We went there again the next day, and got the same steak & cheese (with double meat) because we really liked it and also tried their Jamaican Jerk turkey, it was pleasantly good and lightly sweet (from their sweet mustard sauce) but not what you would expect from anything that has word "Jamaican jerk" in it as it has no kick and is not dry. I also got their garlic bread which was so good (crispy edges and soft inside)
