What happened to Jason's? My wife and I used to enjoy coming here for great soups, sandwiches, salad bar and friendly staff and would have given five-star reviews, but the last two visits the food was terrible, and the staff working behind the counter were all cold and indifferent and could care less whether we were there or not. Lots of brown lettuce for salads. Saw several workers putting salad items back into the bins that had been spilled out onto the counter instead of wiping them off into the garbage, yuk! Was served at our booth a bowl of soup that had a young cockroach walk across the bowl, double yuk! Took it up to the counter to exchange and was then served a barely warm bowl of soup which we had to exchange again for a bowl of hot soup! At no time did anyone offer an apology for the soups. Oh, and the grilled cheese sandwich we ordered was just two pieces of toast with a paper-thin orange layer in the middle that you couldn't taste, so we guessed it was supposed to be the cheese. I had the Quarter Muffaletta Special which came included with chips and a self served salad. The sandwich and salad where both great, no complainants on any end. There's not a lot of places that I frequent with open salad bars but this one seemed to have a lot of options as far as dressings and toppings. Oh man, any time I go into a Jason's; I always end up going crazy on the salad bar and have to take things home. haha IF you've never been to Jason's, it's a deli with an offering of unlimited salad choices on a huge salad bar, seasonal soups offered, and crazy huge sandwiches. My plan of attack is always to get a half sandwich and a one trip salad bar; but I never can eat the sandwich after I go crazy on my salad! Right now, there's a crazy awesome sandwich called the California BLT that my mom is really into. It is on a croissant instead of toasted bread and has avocado, etc. It can come with chips or fruit. Honestly? GET THE FRUIT. That white fruit dip sauce they have is pure, honest to goodness, "I cheated on my diet but not that bad," heaven! Hubby is into the muffaleta. Don't let the portion fool you. 1/4 muffaleta is QUITE enough for one hungry man to eat and leave feeling full. Okay, back to my main jam...the salad bar. Okay, there's 3 choices of greens to start, and everything from corn salsa to artichokes, to shredded cheese and everything in between. If you like "spice", try the dark brown muffins at the end. OH my goodness! Their bowls are generous, even the one trip salad bowl. IF you're a hard core salad lover, get your salad on at Jason's! Okay, as glowing of a review as this is, you may be wondering why I only rated 4 stars. SIMPLY because parking at either location is harrowing during the lunch hours. At their other location, I had to park a block away during lunch, dropping off my elderly mother at the door. Today I got a good space, but the lot was full, and the dining area and salad bar area can get kind of crazy if you haven't been and don't have your plan of attack. I love Jason's Deli! Their ingredients are always so fresh and the never ending salad bar is to die for. I'm a fan of trying a little bit of everything so I usually go with a half salad half sandwich. The California club has become my favorite at Jason's. I do make sort of a mess since the croissant is so flaky but delectable! The side of fruit is a nice touch and balances the meal perfectly. My boyfriend is a fan of their complimentary soft serve ice cream. Jason's is definitely a top choice for lunch picks any day. read more

We hadn't been to a Jason's in a long time. When we lived in Norman we frequented the one there but that was 15 years ago. I had the salad bar. The food all seemed fresh. The staff was diligent about keeping it stocked and clean. As a matter of fact one woman dropped her plate full of salad stuff and it splattered all over the floor and it was cleaned up within two minutes. I enjoyed what I ate. Reasonable price. As a bonus I got to watch a boy make his "salad." It was a bowl full of cheese and bacon bits. Yummy! read more

Jasons Deli offers a wide variety of quality deli sandwiches, soups and salads. Have had the sandwiches mostly in a catering atmosphere for company meetings and events over the last few years. The sandwiches have always been fresh and flavorful. The corned beef, pastrami and roast beef make for great options. Seeing this location for the first time, the salad bar is enormous and among the freshest I have seen at any deli in a long time. Very clean and well managed location. I've heard a lot about this place and was excited to try it with some Tulsa veterans this weekend. On the whole I was neither impressed or disappointed. Both of my friends seem to really enjoy the deli and are regulars. I don't see myself coming back here of own choosing but I might have ordered the wrong thing at a deli... Pasta. While it was tasty the penne was overlooked as was the chicken. And, the sauce was a bit runny. My friends sandwiches looked decent enough but there was nothing "overly impressive." The staff was pretty flat too - not rude or anything like that. Just void of any personality whatsoever. Prices are friendly and the place itself is clean. If you're looking for a sandwich and feel like hitting up a deli, you might want to give this joint a go. I'd suggest going for a sandwich or the salad bar. I hate giving this place only 3 stars but lately I just ain't been feeling the love. They have made some changes over the last few months but apparently they're not all for the better. Last visit it took 25 min for sandwich at lunch and it wan't even 12pm more people were eating salads than anything. Figured what the heck at least there'll be complimentary soft serve but alas the machine was down with no repair in sight. I been to over a dozen Jason's deli's and the one thing I love is the consistency. This Jason's has great service and food. It was in a convenient location off Memorial and 61st, I think I went here (3) times during a two week business trip. They had sweet tea which was somewhat rare in Tulsa. A plus! As always they have the great organic salad bar and free soft serve ice-cream. Forget Subway and get a decent sandwich at Jason's. read more

I used to manage a Jason's Deli back in 2009 so this being the first time back in one since then I can say the food is exactly as I remember, very delicious. There are still the same sandwiches, salads, pasta, and soups I remember with a few surprising additions. The service was fine, the cashiers are friendly but the management just gives you death stares. I don't know how the company is in this part of the country but back in Phoenix we always preached top quality customer interactions from top to bottom. read more

This is one of the favorite places my family and I like to go, even my grand kids. Great variety with light and healthy options. The salad bar is incredible and the sandwiches and soups are very good. You can get a special with a cup of soup and half a sandwich or a salad. I have tried many of their sandwiches and soups and have found all delicious. The Reuben and New Yorker were stacked with meat. Sandwiches come with side of chips. The staff are helpful and courteous. The best part, says my grand kids, is the free soft ice cream (cone or cup) at the end. This best is a winner. read more

I just moved to Tulsa recently, and one of the first places we went to get some lunch was at Jason's Deli. One of the best things about this place is that most, if not all, of their vegetables for sandwiches and salads is organic. There were quite a few vegetarian options on the menu, which made me happy. Visited based on the reviews of "best salad bar". While there is nothing bad about the bar, there is also nothing special about it. I found it on par with a typical pizza place salad bar. I also had a small cup of chili with cheese. The chili tasted a little burnt but not to the point of being bad. I was at Jason's Deli in Corpus Christi Texas be careful I went to the salad bar in an employee that was sitting next to me put his dip Cup on my table I asked him to please remove your dip cup from my table he removed it and walked off to the back and I went back to my table and I found his spoon in my salad bowl I feel mistreated the manager did nothing about it they asked me leave the store and not to come back how would you feel if that happened to you and the spoon I was talking about was a spoon the employee was eating out of be careful when you walk off to the salad bar employee thought it was funny I feel like the management there is very poorly ran that was very disgusting for Jason Deli to let an employee do that I was just about to eat my food win it happened on Sunday April 14th 2019 at 5 o clock read more

Nothing special. Reading the reviews I thought I would be really impressed with my 9 dollar salad, not so much. It's not the total price, but the value. If they had more fresh fruit on the bar I would have given them a 4. They had two kinds of lettuce and leafy spinach, props for that. Croutons were great, had virgin olive oil available as a dressing, the hard boiled eggs were fresh and yummy, and the pudding was the best I've ever had. I didn't want any anyway, but the free ice cream machine was broken. Staff was very friendly, so this was purely a value thing for me. For what I paid I could have had a wonderful chinese buffet somewhere. Still on the hunt for my daily salad joint in T-Town. read more
