I've tried the following bagel sandwiches: -sunrise ($6.39): egg, cheddar, bacon on a jalapeño bagel -California ($6.99): egg, cheddar, ham, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, roasted onions on a cheddar bagel (?) Both were good, but distinctive in flavor. The sunrise is more breakfasty - you could really taste the eggs and bacon working together. The California on the other hand was more hearty and savory - it felt like you were eating an egg sandwich. Whatever the case, I enjoyed both. One thing to note is the bagel quality. I had the California a day after and the bagel held up: it was still chewy even after several toastings in the oven (I'm a terribly slow eater), it still retained the crunch and chewiness of a bagel you'd like to love. I appreciate the booth seating and free wifi from the plaza but do wish that there were outlets to use. Very poorly made. The hot sauce was more like blended tomatoes with no flavor or spice. Only one packet of ketchup was given and when asked for more they only gave us 2 more and the lady never came back. Very disappointed to waste my calorie intake and money on such poor quality food. Coconut white cake Pellegrino (for Italian soda) Every single thing was fresh and perfectly spiced! I often see people working on their laptops or reading a book, as it is quiet and stays quiet throughout the day. Service: At Java Bakery, you order at the counter from their menu and take a number and they bring the food out to you. Food prep is timely, and i've never had to wait too long for my meal. Cashiers and servers are very friendly and offer good suggestions. Food: I'm a big fan of the bagel sandwiches and my personal favorite is the gourmet, which is egg, cheddar, bacon, arugula and apricot preserves on your choice of bagel. Yum! Just in town for the day exploring and we found this little spot in a strip mall next to rite aid and a grocery store. Super convenient location for people who are traveling through if you need anything else and the coffee at this place is pretty good. My wife had the Iced Caramel Macchiato and ended up really liking it and I had some iced coffee drink that was really good as well considering I'm not much of a coffee drinker. Overall would recommend them and probably will be stopping in more often! read more

Fell in here looking for lunch, has a nice outdoor patio, inside is clean, organized, but it took forever to take our order. We had a chicken panini, which was terrible, the chicken is from a frozen, subpar filler/fake chicken, very fatty, gross, even told the owner,(nice lady), but yuck!!! Very small sandwich w/barely anything to it, bad choice. The walnut, craisin salad was better, the plain croissant was ok, being a restaurant owner, I told the owner how bad the panini was, suggesting to change the chicken bc it's really bad...I hope she took it ok, I think ppl get used to subpar food, the place was busy enough w/takeouts, but I'd go to Trader Joe's over this place, just misses the mark, their fruit smoothie was also subpar, very icy!!!! read more
