Food - breakfast for sure like croissants bagels, eggs, burritos, donuts. Great brunch place! Got the burger for the first time although the burgers kinda gave me the sense that it's just frozen and flavorless so maybe skip the burger! The fries were good though. Also got the croissant breakfast sandwich. The way things work here is order at the counter and seat yourself. They have a few tables inside and a little more outside. During cold days, bundle up! They do have some patio heaters but still can get cold as it isn't all over the place. Like today, it's cold! Parking is also limited and mostly street parking. So be prepared to park a bit further and wait a bit longer on busy weekend days. But manageable if you are patient. Overall, place is good and food is as well. Prices are reasonable which is why it is somewhat popular.

Admittedly, it was the CDM Christmas Walk, so things were a little crazy, but I wasn't too impressed with this spot. I know it gets a lot of hype on Yelp, but for me it landed squarely in the average category. The location on PCH is definitely cool, and the outdoor patio is a nice touch, but the food just didn't wow me. Service was on the slower side, and they were already out of the cilantro dressing at 1:00 PM, which felt a bit early to be out of anything. Overall, fine for a quick stop if you're already in the area, but not a place I'd rush back to.

After a morning workout on the beach--because nothing says holiday spirit like burning calories before eating--we landed at my boyfriend's favorite breakfast spot. We walked in and spotted an open table outside, perfect in this beautiful So Cal weather ... we trully are spoiled. While I secured our seats, he ventured in to place our order. It's a popular spot but not very big, a cafe, so be prepared to wait or opt for take out. Today we got lucky and alfresco we brunched. While we waited for our order, we were treated to the fresh juices as our choice for breakfast beverages which were in full holiday attire: The orange juice was solid--bright, refreshing, like sunshine in December. The raspberry lemonade was bursting with actual berries, like they literally emptied a bag of holiday jewels into it. Our order of matching vegetarian breakfast burritos arrive, and let's just say Santa himself would swap cookies for one of these. Warm, hearty, perfectly wrapped like a gourmet present. Eggs, veggies, and that just-right seasoning... the kind of breakfast burrito that makes you feel like you've made good life choices ... about breakfast anyway. Perfect stop after breaking a sweat ... unfortunately we had a packed day so won't be enjoying this years Christmas Walk but drove by and saw all the preparations for those who will be strolling the prettiest beach town around. Rose Bakery Cafe was festive, delicious, and remains on our "nice list." Although, just becasue it's nice, doesn't mean there isn't depth in the options . . . next time will try some of the more "naughtier" treats, the bakery smelled heavenly.

Literally my favorite place on the planet. I made sure I go here every single time I'm home in Newport. The California burrito has my whole entire heart This place is what I describe as a must go when you're in town. Try a smoothie, you won't regret it.

The coffee is good but I ordered the California burrito and it was 99% egg with a singular piece of bacon. I'm really sad about this because previously I liked this place for the coffee but I don't think I'll return

We stopped by Rose Bakery in Corona del Mar on Labor Day. It was definitely busy, the line was long, but we were lucky enough to grab a table right away. After ordering, there was a bit of a wait (totally expected given the holiday crowd). We tried the burrito, but honestly, it didn't wow us. It lacked flavor and I probably wouldn't order it again. On the other hand, the Meat Lover's Skillet was really good! hearty, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, I'd say Roses is good, but not amazing. It wouldn't be my first choice for a burrito in the area, but I'd come back to try more of their breakfast options. Worth a visit if you're nearby, just don't expect to be blown away.

A cafe right on PCH. It's in a great location with scenic outdoor dining, nice breakfast/lunch options, a small parking lot (essential in this location), and nice coffee according to my friend! I ordered the breakfast burrito and was very happy with it. It wasn't as stuffed as my usual breakfast locations, but the bacon was crispy, and the flour tortilla had a nice crunch where they toasted it! The complimentary water was also cold and fresh, something I really appreciate on a hot day.

Absolutely obsessed with this little gem in Corona del Mar Rose Bakery is the kind of spot you go once... and immediately start planning your next visit. Everything feels so fresh, cozy, and thoughtfully made. The pastries are unreal (you can taste the quality), and the coffee is always perfect. It's the sweetest place to slow down, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a quiet morning. Their food is amazing!!! They also have the best smoothies and a spectacular Easter brunch!! If you're in CDM, this is a must-stop

Ugh I need an intervention. I still think they have one of the best breakfast burritos in town if not in the OC. I love that I can pre-order and just go up to the walk up Window and get my order which is promptly made. Today on a Wednesday around 10:30 it wasn't too busy. There is some parking out front but it's a tricky little parking lot to get in and out of. Your best parking on the street. Friendly service cool outdoor vibes with some indoor seating as well. Dogs welcome. I just think the burrito taste phenomenal. They really do pack it in with the egg cheese and bacon, which is nice and crispy. And the hash brown is delicious. The real star of the show is the salsa.

A must go when in town. California burrito is delicious (I get it with no spinach), coffee is good and smoothies are great as well. Seating inside is small but they have a large patio area. Service is fast as well.

I really want to like this place because my last name is Rose and that's pretty cool, but the pastries here are just not good.I have had a decent apple fritter here once though. I'll give it another shot and try something other than bakery items someday. With all that said, and I can't believe this is a redeeming about, I did only pay $8 for these and somehow that feels like a deal.

Food was on point , had a BLTA with fries , bread was toasted perfectly , service was great Sarai was really helpful and the patio is nice and clean

This past Sunday, I came in with my daughter, who was really craving a steak. She ordered it medium, but it came out a little more well-done than expected. What impressed me most wasn't the mistake, but how it was handled. Our server, Jenny, was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about our experience. We never asked for the steak to be removed from the bill, but Jenny and the manager took the initiative to make it right and comped it because it didn't meet their standards. That level of customer service is becoming rare, and it really stood out. Located in a strip mall with plenty of parking, they are open from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every day for breakfast and lunch. We came on a Sunday morning and were seated right away. The menu offers plenty of tasty options. It was tough to decide. I ordered the Crab Benny and had my eggs soft-poached, as requested, and they were perfectly runny. The croissant was a nice change from the usual English muffin. The herb-seasoned wedge fries were also great and crispy. The Brown Butter Hollandaise sauce was creamy and flavorful. My family also enjoyed the tomato bagel and the kids' pancake. They cleaned their plate in no time. The portions were good for the price and quality. Our morning hunger was satisfied. If you are inclined to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal, the menu offers some great options like brunch cocktails, mimosas, wine, and more. I'll have to try one of their house cocktails sometime. I opted to get a refreshing cold brew this time. Upon entering the dining area, I was struck by its bright, modern look and local vibes. There is also patio seating, perfect for the SoCal weather. The staff was kind and attentive. It was cool that they refer to customers as "family" when greeting them before taking orders. Our first time was a pleasant and delicious experience. I would consider returning for another meal.

And it came from a breakfast joint, which is super rare in and of itself. Having lived in Southern California for many many years, I thought I had seen and experienced just about everything in the way of good places to eat. As I was driving around looking for some breakfast, I stumbled across oeb breakfast. And I am so glad I did. For starters, when you walk through the door, the place is bright and Cherry and has just the right amount of whimsy. It's neatly laid out and everything is in full view. It only took a moment my server to come get me at the front and direct me to a table. Let's talk about the service. Having been in the food service industry, I know what it takes to have a great dining experience. Caesar, who was my waiter, took care of me in a level that I have not seen in a very long time. Personable, gracious, accommodating, and helpful are just a few of the words I would use to describe my experience being served by him. I asked for coffee and water and within moments it arrived on my table. Side note, the coffee is off the chain! It is a brand called Umbria and it is amazing. After scanning the menu, I opted for the beef bulldogi Benedict with the beef Tallow fries. I asked for the fries extra crispy, and ask for my milk to be served with breakfast. If you've read any of my Yelp reviews on breakfast places, you know that that is one of my litmus tests for the accuracy of the order. If I have to ask for my milk after the meal's been delivered, they're not doing their job. Not that I'm picky, for me. It is just a way to determine how good of a listener the server actually is. It didn't take long at all for the food to be delivered. The presentation was absolutely amazing, as we eat with our eyes. First, I have to say that the way the food was plated was definitely a work of art. Once the food was dropped off half of me was going. I wonder if they will remember... And before I could finish my thought Caesar showed back up with the milk. Home run! The food itself was absolutely wonderful, I cannot remember when I have enjoyed a breakfast as much as this one. All the flavors were there, it was perfectly balanced, and was just a pleasant dining experience overall. Bragging on Caesar again, as I was sitting there, the restaurant started to get very busy, he handled himself with such Grace and poise and didn't let the mounting tension frazzle him. Again, I wish this place was in my hometown so I could come here more often, but you can bet that I will be back here multiple times. Bottom line? There aren't many places that I would tell friends they definitely absolutely had to go to. But oeb breakfast is now on the top of the list for me to recommend to my friends.

We all have allergies and specific diets (unfortunately) and that is why we went there, because they have all this delicious and healthy options and we used to go to the one in San Diego and never had any issues. 45 minutes later (restaurant had 4 tables in use, so basically empty) our food came, we are kind of anxious and very hungry. I tasted the glass noodles and commented that is was too sweet at first bite. Waitress kind of annoyed assured the sauce was soy based. After eating we asked the manager about the sauce because it felt very sweet, so he went to the kitchen and asked and of course the sauce was super sweet, sugar, sugar, sugar!! Ended up with a special medication at home for a huge spike in sugar level! How incredibly dangerous this was!! Any life threatening allergy, or a DIABETIC should be confident that what we are eating is what we are told! I couldn't believe it! This never happened to me before anywhere, not to mention that my friend's meal came out wrong and when asked about what was missing, that was big part of the dish (avocado) the waitress was annoyed. Never apologized for her mistake, never approached the table or acted worried at all after we talked to the manager. I have to say the manager was very worried and apologetic and that we didn't make a scene or were aggressive or rude to anyone. A formal complaint will be made because it could have ended horribly bad. I hope the staff there gets well trained on their menu to be able to give an accurate and responsible answer to any requests and questions from costumers.
