The restaurant has been a local favorite for years but recently they moved to this new location, which offers more seating for their guests. The food is still delicious and the service was great. Parking is limited on the weekends because of the volume of customers enjoying breakfast but the weekdays are not as bad. In addition to a fine breakfast menu, they also have a nice lunch menu that starts at 11.

Still my favorite breakfast spot, they just moved onto Imola which is also closer to my house (lucky me!!) kitchen sink skillet is my go to with homemade rye toast and a coffee, my boyfriend normally gets the huevos rancheros. The new location is great! Cute funny signs all over and a very homey ambiance. LOOK AT THE UNICORN MUG

My wife and I went for a weekend breakfast. There was no wait. The decor was nice. The food was food. I had an omelette with Hash browns. They were cooked perfectly.

Really good breakfast, brunch, and lunch food. There's lots of seating inside, it has an old school diner vibe with quirky and funny decor. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food for a large group of 10 came out pretty quickly. We did have to wait about 20 min for a table since we were a large group on a weekend at lunchtime. Food was really good portion sizes. Veggie sandwich was very flavorful with nicely melted vegan cheese and a nice size side salad. Garden omelette was also a good size, nice and savory with lots of veggies, and the potatoes were really nicely seasoned and cooked. Not a fancy place, but good food and probably about average prices for the area.

We came here at 11 o'clock on a Saturday morning with a reservation. There was 10 of us in the group. When we first sat down, the waitress was super nice. We had mentioned that some of us would want some mimosas and she told us a better deal was to get two bottles and split them between all of us so we went with that. Once she brought out the mimosas and juice that came with us, we were a little bit shocked because we got three tiny juice containers for 10 people (picture inserted below). The time in between ordering drinks and food was incredibly long, we hadn't seen the waitress for a very long time and we were all wondering where she went because we'd all been ready to order food for a while. When she finally did come back to where our table to take our orders, I let her know beforehand that this would be into separate checks, she said that was too hard and that she wouldn't be doing that. Other restaurants were able to separate our checks without a problem so that was a little bit annoying for our group, but we complied and said we would divide it up later. When taking my order, she seemed very confused and it was having a difficult time getting it correct. Later in our meal one person in our party, wanted a latte and asked if she could get a latte, the waitress rolled her eyes and actually laughed and walked away. The waitress didn't ask any questions about how the latte should be made, flavoring, hot or cold and didn't leave room for the person our party to specify. The person in our party happened to want the latte, cold, and caramel flavored, and what came out with a hot latte with no flavoring. One last thing to add about the service is she treated half of us at the table completely different than the other half. She seemed cold to the people at my end of the table and a bit dismissive, and was super warm and friendly to the other end of the table. She was not treated differently by either end of the table, so that was disappointing. The food was amazing, I will say that, but the service was so horrible that we will never be back and I will never be recommending this restaurant to anybody. The waitresses name was Alison. This was a very disappointing bunch experience service wise.

Came here with a group of girlfriends. Wrote our names down and waited about 10-15 minutes until we were seated outside. Our server was cool and attentive. The food was amazing! I ordered the avocado toast and hash brown on the side, both were delicious. The other girls ordered a lot and they shared it family style. Everything looked great! I wouldn't mind coming back here to try their other dishes though.

Brunched at Petit Soleil on Clay and left in a blissful food coma! Ordered the Sexy Skillet, mostly because with a name like that, how could I not? Turns out, it's not just a flirt...it delivers. Cheesy, crispy, goodness in a hot pan. I may or may not have whispered "I love you" to it between bites. I opted for carne asada/corn tortillas and chorizo is an option too. What goes with a Sexy Skillet...you got it; a mimosa. Washed it down with an apricot mango mimosa, which tasted like summer and good decisions. Portions were generous (Stephen warned me) and by generous I mean I strongly considered unbuttoning my pants halfway through (I didn't, because I had romper on...lol). Shout out to Stephen, who was friendly, funny, and magically appeared every time I needed a refill or a life decision confirmed (like a photo idea for content purposes). If you're looking for a brunch spot that feeds both your stomach and your soul, this is it. PS: The playlist is everything. Bon Jovi to Ready for the World. A hidden gem in Napa!

My friends sister was visiting from out of state and a Napa trip was a must! But with so many great wineries, where are all the great brunch places? Well upon my research, one name kept coming up Petit Soleil Cafe on Clay. My best friend is on the keto diet, when I saw this location has an item perfect for his diet I knew we had to check it out. It's a small location with most of the seating outdoors. Outdoors does have a few spatial heaters but I would recommend bringing a jacket or blanket as if can get chilly in the morning. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Even making multiple suggestions and checking in on us to make sure we enjoyed our meals. I wound up getting a scramble and really loved how everything was fresh and flavorful. I will for sure recommend this place to family & friends and be back again.

A friend and I visited Petit Soleil for brunch, and it was good. Upon arrival, Lucas, the host, greeted me right away. He was professional and outgoing. There was about a 30-minute wait. Once we were seated, we were greeted immediately, and our server was attentive throughout the dining experience. However, it's worth mentioning that the place is quaint and the tables are very close together, so it's not ideal for a private conversation. It was also quite warm inside, a nice, cool flow of air would've made it more comfortable. Nonetheless, they have a robust breakfast menu. I went with the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes with sausage, and my meal did not disappoint. My friend had a scramble that she also enjoyed. Overall, the customer service and food were good! The space isn't ideal on a warm day since it gets hot inside, but I'd visit again.

Had such a delicious breakfast at Petit Soleil! Everything was super yummy, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was also wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

This place is delicious! I came for breakfast and ordered the garden omelette, and my friend and I shared a pancake. The garden omelette was amazing, and the salsa made the flavor so much better. The pancake was okay. This place is really popular so except to wait if you're wanting breakfast. The outside seating is super cute and perfect when there's nice weather.

    Huevos rancheros to go.

Petit Soleil is a cute little restaurant in an unassuming location. After looking at the menu online, I had to give it a try, as so many things sounded so good. I ordered both the huevos rancheros and the avocado toast to go. The bread used for the avocado toast was very good and the eggs perfectly poached. The dish is loaded with a small salad mix on top. A dish I'd order again. The huevos rancheros were just average for me. A great portion size but missing some flavor. I'm not sure if it was perhaps too much Spanish rice that took some of the flavor away, or what the case may be, but not enough seasoning for my personal taste. I still have half that I'll be eating later though! Service was friendly and helpful too when trying to decide how to narrow down my choices. I also grabbed a latte to go. Coffee drinks are always hit or miss for me... but you know... caffeine. I enjoyed my latte more than usual.

The seat with water behind it is where we were seated before we moved.

The owner messaged me immediately and apologized and rectified the situation. I appreciate her understanding and not letting the issue unresolved. Thank you!

Then I saw they had the gravalax salmon that I wanted to try. I always get the bagel and lox when a restaurant has it. Living in Illinois it's far and few between. So that was exactly what I ordered. I like it. It's not smoked and I can't really explain the taste. However, I didn't get the fuzziness On the roof of my mouth that I sometimes get with lox. It was sliced thinner and I liked that too. I didn't try my husband's pancakes but the fingerling potatoes were delicious. Our server was efficient. They knew when and how to bring everything out. Of course it's right in the heart of downtown so it was perfect for after dinner stroll. We had an early reservation which when we arrived, majority of the tables were empty. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. A few tables along the front patio as well as a bigger sectioned outdoor patio along the side of the restaurant. Indoor is just one big room. There's a bar counter but I don't remember if you can utilize it. Our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest ever and very friendly. Made sure that we were well taken cared off the whole time. Menu wise for both drinks and food was quite nice. I think we were all wined out after the afternoon tasting....lol... So a little cocktail here and there was tried. Food wise, there was a big group so a bunch of starters was had to share. The pork belly was delicious, small but tasty. It was basically just enjoying a nice thick piece of bacon with roasted apples with a glaze. That was a favorite amongst everyone. Prosciutto and burrata with grilled strawberries and micro greens and a balsamic glaze. You can't go wrong with burrata, it was delicious. The cast iron corn bread with lavender honey was another favorite. Something so simple yet so delicious. There was another dish in a grape leaves but I don't remember ordering it. It was tasty. Also, I could have sworn we ordered the beet salad but didn't get it...lol... Could be wrong. Anyways, starters were nice. Entrees, another mix of everything had. We each ordered our own but ended up passing things around to share. The duck confit didn't sound that interesting but someone ordered it and it was quite delicious. Think that was the best dish out of everything we had. The steak and fries were good, did like the seasoning used for the fries. The shrimp boil was ok, sort of flavorless in my opinion. Potatoes, sausage, bell peppers, onions, corn, shrimp tossed in a lobster broth. It was good but lacking some seasoning. Not your traditional shrimp boil as you would think with the loaded seasoning. Roasted chicken with the wild spring vegetables and wild rice pilaf. It's chicken, decent and moist. Still pretty tasty. The halibut with the roasted mix veggies. Nice piece of meat cooked nicely. Classic gnocchi in basil pesto, simple but good. The short rib which I believe was the special. A few piece of meat, with mashed potatoes, grilled onions and corn on the cob. It was good, meat was tender and flavorful. Also a side order of the onion rings which was also a favorite. Nice thick piece with grated Parmesan. Of course we still had to get dessert after all that. Two different one, the cheesecake with fresh fruit and the shortbread cake with creme and fruit. Both were quite tasty and a nice way to finish off a meal even though we were full. Overall, the service was top notch. Service was amazing and our waitress was a major doll. The sweetest and friendliest. Made us feel so welcomed. Drinks, quite good. Food, there was some hit and misses. We did enjoy ourselves and had a nice time. Location is amazing in the heart of downtown. I believe everything is street parking. Another place off the list.

I think the most surprising thing about the ambience this time was the fact that we sat in a corner booth (towards the front door), which used to be a favorite space for me ironically, and the white wood blinds were absolutely filthy. Boon Fly pays a lot of detail to a lot of other little details, so I'm hoping they will take a harder look at the dining room surroundings and make sure those get genuinely cleaned.

I was so excited for the potatoes since it combines three of my favorite things: potatoes, hollandaise, and chorizo. Unfortunately, the taste just didn't live up to the presentation. The chorizo tasted nothing like traditional chorizo, almost like a completely different meat. The dish was heavily doused in sauce that it totally overpowered the flavor.
