Still my favorite breakfast spot, they just moved onto Imola which is also closer to my house (lucky me!!) kitchen sink skillet is my go to with homemade rye toast and a coffee, my boyfriend normally gets the huevos rancheros. The new location is great! Cute funny signs all over and a very homey ambiance. LOOK AT THE UNICORN MUG

Had such a delicious breakfast at Petit Soleil! Everything was super yummy, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was also wonderful -- friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to!

Really good breakfast, brunch, and lunch food. There's lots of seating inside, it has an old school diner vibe with quirky and funny decor. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food for a large group of 10 came out pretty quickly. We did have to wait about 20 min for a table since we were a large group on a weekend at lunchtime. Food was really good portion sizes. Veggie sandwich was very flavorful with nicely melted vegan cheese and a nice size side salad. Garden omelette was also a good size, nice and savory with lots of veggies, and the potatoes were really nicely seasoned and cooked. Not a fancy place, but good food and probably about average prices for the area.

We came here at 11 o'clock on a Saturday morning with a reservation. There was 10 of us in the group. When we first sat down, the waitress was super nice. We had mentioned that some of us would want some mimosas and she told us a better deal was to get two bottles and split them between all of us so we went with that. Once she brought out the mimosas and juice that came with us, we were a little bit shocked because we got three tiny juice containers for 10 people (picture inserted below). The time in between ordering drinks and food was incredibly long, we hadn't seen the waitress for a very long time and we were all wondering where she went because we'd all been ready to order food for a while. When she finally did come back to where our table to take our orders, I let her know beforehand that this would be into separate checks, she said that was too hard and that she wouldn't be doing that. Other restaurants were able to separate our checks without a problem so that was a little bit annoying for our group, but we complied and said we would divide it up later. When taking my order, she seemed very confused and it was having a difficult time getting it correct. Later in our meal one person in our party, wanted a latte and asked if she could get a latte, the waitress rolled her eyes and actually laughed and walked away. The waitress didn't ask any questions about how the latte should be made, flavoring, hot or cold and didn't leave room for the person our party to specify. The person in our party happened to want the latte, cold, and caramel flavored, and what came out with a hot latte with no flavoring. One last thing to add about the service is she treated half of us at the table completely different than the other half. She seemed cold to the people at my end of the table and a bit dismissive, and was super warm and friendly to the other end of the table. She was not treated differently by either end of the table, so that was disappointing. The food was amazing, I will say that, but the service was so horrible that we will never be back and I will never be recommending this restaurant to anybody. The waitresses name was Alison. This was a very disappointing bunch experience service wise.

Came here with a group of girlfriends. Wrote our names down and waited about 10-15 minutes until we were seated outside. Our server was cool and attentive. The food was amazing! I ordered the avocado toast and hash brown on the side, both were delicious. The other girls ordered a lot and they shared it family style. Everything looked great! I wouldn't mind coming back here to try their other dishes though.

Brunched at Petit Soleil on Clay and left in a blissful food coma! Ordered the Sexy Skillet, mostly because with a name like that, how could I not? Turns out, it's not just a flirt...it delivers. Cheesy, crispy, goodness in a hot pan. I may or may not have whispered "I love you" to it between bites. I opted for carne asada/corn tortillas and chorizo is an option too. What goes with a Sexy Skillet...you got it; a mimosa. Washed it down with an apricot mango mimosa, which tasted like summer and good decisions. Portions were generous (Stephen warned me) and by generous I mean I strongly considered unbuttoning my pants halfway through (I didn't, because I had romper on...lol). Shout out to Stephen, who was friendly, funny, and magically appeared every time I needed a refill or a life decision confirmed (like a photo idea for content purposes). If you're looking for a brunch spot that feeds both your stomach and your soul, this is it. PS: The playlist is everything. Bon Jovi to Ready for the World. A hidden gem in Napa!

The seat with water behind it is where we were seated before we moved.

The owner messaged me immediately and apologized and rectified the situation. I appreciate her understanding and not letting the issue unresolved. Thank you!

My friends sister was visiting from out of state and a Napa trip was a must! But with so many great wineries, where are all the great brunch places? Well upon my research, one name kept coming up Petit Soleil Cafe on Clay. My best friend is on the keto diet, when I saw this location has an item perfect for his diet I knew we had to check it out. It's a small location with most of the seating outdoors. Outdoors does have a few spatial heaters but I would recommend bringing a jacket or blanket as if can get chilly in the morning. The service was super friendly and accommodating. Even making multiple suggestions and checking in on us to make sure we enjoyed our meals. I wound up getting a scramble and really loved how everything was fresh and flavorful. I will for sure recommend this place to family & friends and be back again.

A friend and I visited Petit Soleil for brunch, and it was good. Upon arrival, Lucas, the host, greeted me right away. He was professional and outgoing. There was about a 30-minute wait. Once we were seated, we were greeted immediately, and our server was attentive throughout the dining experience. However, it's worth mentioning that the place is quaint and the tables are very close together, so it's not ideal for a private conversation. It was also quite warm inside, a nice, cool flow of air would've made it more comfortable. Nonetheless, they have a robust breakfast menu. I went with the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes with sausage, and my meal did not disappoint. My friend had a scramble that she also enjoyed. Overall, the customer service and food were good! The space isn't ideal on a warm day since it gets hot inside, but I'd visit again.

DIRTY PLATE. nobody ordered salad.... Gross!!!

Water glasses were tiny and always empty. We waited 15+ mins just for water half way through our meal. Meal took a while to come out but understandable as they're busy. The Mac and cheese came out on a very DIRTY plate. Many workers passing by without acknowledging us and our empty glasses. Didnt have silverware when we got our food. Ambience was okay, we were tucked in a corner but still tons of servers going by without looking over here I genuinely can't stress the water enough. Either give us bigger glasses or leave the water on the table if you can't make it here fast enough. Plenty of tables around us asked the same question, to leave the water on the table. As I sit here writing this review we have been waiting on our check as two tables near us have been waiting over 10 minutes to put in an order. Wait time not worth it. They expanded to a bigger restraint but can't keep up.

This place is delicious! I came for breakfast and ordered the garden omelette, and my friend and I shared a pancake. The garden omelette was amazing, and the salsa made the flavor so much better. The pancake was okay. This place is really popular so except to wait if you're wanting breakfast. The outside seating is super cute and perfect when there's nice weather.

    Huevos rancheros to go.

This very popular counter service cafe is very popular for good reason. The food is amazing. I am so happy to we chose to go here while visiting Napa for a few days. It's worth visiting Napa just to go to Winston's in my humble opinion. The waits can be long to get in and order and maybe even long to get a table, but it's worth it. Also, this place is a great community establishment and helps out the local pet shelter to help find homes for dogs. They even have coloring pages with crayons of adoptable dogs at the Napa shelter. My wife and I ordered two breakfast places and two pastries on our visit. The salmon salad plate was our healthy plate, which was really tasty and fresh. The true standout for me is their pork Belly Loco Moco. I never seem to love a loco moco plate, but I like them. They are typically served with a beef patty. Let me just say that this is a perfect plate of food. The pork belly melts in your mouth and has a delicious hoisin sauce drizzled on it. The eggs and pickled veggies god great with the pork belly, but there is also this wonderful gravy on the plate which is like a chicken gravy. It's so ridiculously good. I can't say enough good things about this plate and how much it works together in balance and harmony. We also tried their toasted Coconut donut, which is a glazed yeast donut with toasted coconut flakes. It was very good! But the dessert standout was the chocolate pistachio muffin. This was so moist, buttery and rich with chocolate and nuttiness. So delicious! I also want to add that I love the ambiance of Winston's and its lovely decor. This is a real gem of a place!

Our table wasn't properly cleared , some dishes were removed before our food arrived, but the remaining ones weren't taken away until after, and the table was never wiped down between. As for the food, I'd give it a 3/5. The chorizo in my omelet was overly salty, not in a seasoned way, but genuinely too much to enjoy. The potatoes also tasted like they had been fried multiple times, possibly to reheat, which left them with an off flavor.

I'll admit, I was a little worried before booking because of some of the reviews I had read. But after staying here, I can honestly say those concerns didn't match my experience at all. Whatever issues others may have had, they certainly weren't part of our stay. The location is hard to beat. Being right along the Napa River makes a huge difference. Morning coffee by the water with the walking path just steps away sets the tone for the whole day. It feels peaceful and tucked away, yet you're still within easy walking distance to downtown Napa's tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable without feeling overly fancy or pretentious. The bed was great, the bathroom was well-appointed, and I appreciated the little details that made the stay feel thoughtful. If you can get a river-facing room, it's worth it. The outdoor spaces are really what make this place special. There's something about sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the river drift by, that just feels very "Napa." Service was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The staff really stood out -- especially the woman working in the café in the morning. She was warm, upbeat, and genuinely made the start of the day feel special. It's those small personal touches that elevate a stay from good to memorable. Another big plus: they offer free EV charging, which was a great perk and made the trip even more convenient. It's always nice to see properties thinking about sustainability and guest convenience at the same time. It also shares a parking lot with San Francisco's famous The Slanted Door, which makes grabbing an incredible meal ridiculously easy. Having that level of dining right next door is a huge bonus. My friend was going to use sofa bed but when she pulled out the bed it was made and had a ton of hair on it (maybe pet hair?). Some pros: The river walk area is nice. View of Napa river right off bar could be a nice place to unwind. Another pro is that the manager was super kind and helpful to my friend when we moved rooms, even walking her to the room to ensure it was ok. Overall the price is terrible for quality, but the staff are helpful and kind and they are the reason for any stars.
