After driving the truck around for a week or so, it didn't quite track straight and had a slight drift to it. I knew I needed new rotors and brakes, called around to multiple places to get quotes and JC's was the lowest...by a good amount, half of what the dealer quoted. I was able to get a next day appointment, and while the car before me took a little while longer than planned, Johnny came out and let me know and made sure I was ok with waiting. He showed me the old rotors vs the new rotors and it ended up being a little less than the original quote. Whenever I have to have work done on my car, I get a lot of stress and anxiety. I've had a traumatizing experience in the past at Power Toyota Irvine, that I have never gone back! Since moving to CA, I'm slowly starting to find places to take my car to and its been quite a journey. JC's Alignments is an amazing place to take your car to have your tire alignments done! After searching online and through yelp, I'm thankful to have stumbled upon JC's!! Appointments are recommended and they even gave me an estimated 45 minutes to get my alignment done. John helped me and even though I came 1/2 hour earlier than my appointment, he took me in right away. There were 2 people working on my car, and my expected 45 minute job turned out to be 30 minutes! I was really impressed. They gave me a print-out of before and after and advice on when to come for my next visit (I'm not too car savvy so any help is most appreciated). The staff was very honest and they offered reasonable prices! I have a 2007 Camry and I paid $69 for my alignment. It also came with a 6 month warranty. I think John was having a bad day the day I came to see them. The welcome was not very warm and inviting but the service was superb. Barely a "Hello!" or "Welcome, you're in good hands!" Anyways while hanging around I saw John massaging his temples. So I'm guessing he had a headache. After a while he grew more friendly and brought out his dog for me to see. Again, the actual technical expertise displayed was superb. My vehicle's alignment was restored ahead of schedule and I was out of there in 45 minutes instead of the promised 60. I'll be back and maybe they'll be friendlier next time. This is the cheapest place I've found for a 4-wheel alignment at$75. Just Tires charged me $85 whenever I didn't have a coupon. 9/2015 Update: called twice to set up an appointment and was never called back. Your business is not appreciated here. Looks like I'll be going to Just Tires now. 12/2015 Update: disliked service at Just Tires so I left. Came back to JCs as a walk in/drop off. Toe was out of spec and it got straightened out. Johnny also found the tires to be under inflated so he topped me off as well. All in all JC does a great job but it's hard to get an appointment. If you can't do an appointment call in and give him a heads up that you would like to do a walk in/drop off. read more

I have officially redone all of the work done there. I had brought my camaro in to be worked on. It needed knock sensors and to fix loose steering. After the check engine never turned off after bringing my car back twice, that part was refunded. I paid over 500 for a new steering column and mount. They showed me parts on the floor and wires claiming they were from my car, which was complete bs. My steering was worse than when I brought it to them. Again it was something they "reworked".. flash forward a couple months, loose steering and security light is back on. I call a person that specializes in steering columns, shows me warped parts and very thin fragile wires taped together. So obviously I paid a lot of money and they didn't do anything but take my money. Huge waste of money, not only was I over charged and they had my car for weeks, they didn't fix it, they charged me for new parts and when rework was done, there were no new parts. On top of that, the knock sensors weren't even plugged in. So there is no way the claim of "it was working for us" was anything more than bs. read more

Come to find out most placed charge the same amount in the surrounding areas with a coupon or not. After reading the reviews and having a very accommodating phone call with Johnny, I made my decision and made an appointment. I showed up before my appointment time and was taken care of right away. All of their employees are professional! Johnny is very personable and knows what he is doing. He continuously popped his head into the waiting room to crack a joke, update me or ask questions. Couldn't get my alignment done right after three tries!!! Even paid for extra labor and extra parts to be installed but my car still doesn't drive straight. Constantly pulls to the right and this was brought up every time I visited him again. He didn't even take it off the lift to test drive my car either. He's a really nice guy but I'm upset that I paid close to 200 bucks to have my car in the same condition as it was before. read more

Came here to install alignment parts for my 350z. Was quoted more than half the price compared to another shop. The job took at least 2 hours because the other mechanic had to take my lower control arm to the shop next door to remove the bushings with a special equipment. Well worth the wait as Johnny will constantly bring up conversations and allow you to get a closer look at your vehicle as he work on it. Not many shop does this, but Johnny had nothing to hide so I know I can trust him. I took their opinion highly because I saw the staff at America's tire drive lowered cars too. I decided to stop by the shop and get a quote and I ended up getting an oil change for my wife's car and alignment for my BMW M3. What can I say, these guys are awesome. Great service. They didn't try to upsell like some other "big chain" places so that was a relief. Make sure to call them first to see if they have spots open. Just got home from my alignment at JC's. I drove from Long Beach just because of the reviews I saw on Yelp and figured they had to be good... And dang, they're amazing! These guys are AWESOME! After clipping a curb in my car (which is my baby!) and completely throwing off my alignment, fearing that I did damage to the undercarriage of my car, JC's took care of everything! They have great prices (I would have honestly paid more) and they know exactly what they're doing! I was told the owner has been doing alignments since he was 18. Family run business, husband works in the bays, wife is at the counter cashier, sons moving cars, family dogs are even there too. I LOVE that places like this are still around and thriving! So welcoming and friendly! Can't find that anywhere these days. From now on I will NOT go ANYWHERE else for any alignment/brake/suspension issues. This place is AWESOME! I would give it 6 stars if I could. The owner, John, is super friendly and his customer service is incredible. Every time I come in there with my 4Runner they take care of the alignment super quickly, but also do a great job on it. I remember coming in 4th of July weekend to get my alignment because my steering wheel was off. I told John the problem, and he took a look at my truck. He told me that the alignment was fine, and that he would adjust the steering wheel back to normal. When he was done with the car, he parked it outside for me, came inside as I was ready to pay, and simply handed me the keys and told me to have a good and safe weekend. I had my credit card out ready to pay him, but he took care of it for me for free! Most service shops would take advantage of that situation and just charge me, but John did not. That is integrity and honesty, and ultimate customer service. I will be coming here for all my alignment needs as long as it is open! read more

Jonny is truly a master of his trade. I'm a perfectionist and when I look for a professional to do work on my car, I first am foremost want quality and attention to detail. I am very picky and have no patience for shoddy work or rushed jobs. But when I got my car aligned, it was done in less than an hour and was dead on. I drove a quarter mile without touching the steering wheel and I stayed right in the lane. I was pleasantly surprised to find that he wasn't only a highly knowledgeable specialist in vehicle suspensions, with over 35 years experience in track cars, race cars, and off-road vehicles, but a very kind and honest person also. I overheard him telling someone over the phone that he wouldn't charge them since it was something simple. And then when he told another person that they would have to replace a much larger more expensive part, he sincerely said he was sorry and I could sense the compassion and kindness in his voice. Moving to a new area is great, except when you need car repairs and the mechanic you trust is now far, far away... What to do? Answer: don't go to Firestone... They wanted over 3 times what JC's charged me for a front brake system! These guys were great... Worked us in late when the baby overslept her nap and we missed our scheduled time. Took a look, only replaced what we actually needed, charged us a wonderfully fair price, and had this done in less than two hours. Now, we may have got the cute baby discount too, but seriously, these guys are a great find. Highly recommended. Will return. Johnny and his crews were great! Americas Tires sent me to JCs place after they replaced one of my tire because of 2 broken lug nuts. They didn't tell me that you need to make an appointment and the place closes at 5:30pm. So I got to JCs around 5:20pm asking if they could help me out. Even though it was closing time and I just showed up out of nowhere Johnny took care of me right away. He didn't understand how America's Tires could let me drive away when one of my tire was only secured by 3 lug nuts and I had such a long distance to go!!!
