There is definitely an audience for Jeff's and judging by what I see, it's a younger audience. There are a lot of sweet flavors, cinnamon, berry, cannoli cream etc... As for bagels, some of the standards are missing like pumpernickel, whole wheat, & egg. More exotic bagels occupy the bins. The texture is crispy on the outside and very chewy (high gluten) on the inside. Again, I think this taste is appealing to a younger audience but traditional bagel mavens will not find it appealing. While not for me, the number of people I see in the store seems to indicate their take on bagels is well received. read more

Wow. Let's start with the bagels. I have NEVER had a bagel that tasted this good in my 40 years on this planet. The crust was soft yet crispy and the inside was warm, super soft and spongy. We tried the plain, onion and asiago bagels with the plain, veggie and BANANA PUDDING cream cheese. All I can say is everything was perfect! Moving on to the coffee. I wasn't impressed much by the coffee as they lacked any distinguishing qualities. The flavors were bland and I've had much better at a lot of different coffee shops. We tried the cereal milk latte and cinnamon vanilla latte. Being this is a bagel place I'm not going to give them any negative rating for the coffee, but purely rating them on the bagels. This will be my goto from now on for the bagels (I'll just go next door for a coffee). PS. I'm hoping them start making some breakfast sandwiches in the future as these bagels with egg and bacon or sausage would be my daily breakfast stop. read more

Was so excited to try Jeff's bagel run but it was so so! The bagels were good after the order was corrected but that was really it. They messed up our order (of just two bagels and 2 coffees) so I had to drive back. Thank god we didn't drive home the 25 min (yikes). The cereal milk latte was a big miss and we paid $12 for 2. It tastes nothing like cereal milk, we threw them out! It's more similar to the berry Chantilly late from Whole Foods minus the vanilla. It just taste like super strong strawberry, so if you like that get the "cereal milk" latte. I thought this might've been a mixup, but they confirmed that the cereal milk latte is just strawberry and blueberry (but there wasn't any blueberry flavor). They have a few tables inside and outside, and orders are prepared relatively fast. But I'm not sure it's worth the drive if you're in east Boca. read more

The bagels look good however, they are boarder line "breadgels." The flavor is there just too bready for my liking. These bagels make good sandwich's and the cream cheeses are good. I like my bagels plain, uncut toasted whole tear and spread as I eat. This may color my bagel ratings.However, my standard for bagels has never been matched and it ain't from NYC. Most amazing bagel I have ever had. Has nothing on NYCbagels and their water. Their bagels are so good, they don't serve sandwiches.

I've been living in West Boca for 35 years. I have been eating at the Dunkin' Donuts two doors down from Jeff's bagel run. I waited for them to iron out the wrinkles before I tried it and it lives up to the name. If you're on the run, that's the place to get the bagel. The bagel was fresh and hot as it had just come out of the oven because they are baked only. I normally eat a toasted bagel. I did ask if they toasted it. They said no however hot and baked is definitely a plus. The place is small and quick , which is what is needed for an early morning run to work. I would absolutely recommend it. My only concern being in the restaurant business for almost 50 years. I would just add another shield over the open condiments that are behind the counter. The place is immaculately clean. The staff was super friendly and as I said earlier, the bagels were hot and fresh. And the immortal words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, I'll be back. read more

I guess I was expecting more with all the bagel competition around. I stopped in this morning for an everything bagel with flavored cream cheese I go. Not a great selection of savory flavors. About what I can get from an Einstein or Panera. (Really no lox spread?). Like other posters, I didn't know about the no toasting. I asked for an everything bagel with cream cheese. Toasted. Was told they don't toast but the bagels were fresh and hot. So I grab my bag jump in my car to eat it on the road. Reach into the bag, and the cream cheese is separate? Ok that's inconvenient. I didn't know I had to specify it if it's even able for them to put it on. If it was a choice maybe they should have asked when I ordered a single bagel? The bagel......errrrr. No. It was chewy and soft. I like the outer shell crispy. You know, like a bagel. Not doughy and chewy. Good seasoning on the everything, I'll give them that. Coffee was good too. Employees friendly. But will be I coming back with so many good authentic NY style bagels around? No I won't be back. This was like a warm Publix bagel. And I might have preferred that. Edit: Half of the reviews are of cold bagels and the lack of oven, but hiring a social media guy to tell us we're wrong is somehow easier than a countertop bagel toaster. No Toasted bagels or hot food! Funnel Cake Bagel, Blueberry Bagel, Cannoli spread and cookies and cream spread. With combinations like this how can you go wrong? I'll tell you. They don't have hot food and don't toast your bagel. No breakfast or bagel sandwiches, just bagel and spread. The flavors were pretty decent, it's sugar and cream cheese mostly. A bagel oven is less than 3 feet of counter space, let me know when you get one. read more

I stopped into Jeff's Bagel Run expecting to grab a quick savory bagel--and ended up walking out with way more than I bargained for in the best way possible! Grace was super awesome and so welcoming. She suggested I sample a few of their sweet cream cheese flavors, and I'm so glad I did. I came in with a salty craving but left seriously impressed by the sweet options too. I got the Asiago Everything Bagel w/ chive and onion cream cheese. The bagel was so fresh with amazing flavor and the cream cheese was creamy and the two flavors paired perfectly. I also loved the wooden knife and the packaging, made spreading the cream cheese more enjoyable. David also gave some fantastic recommendations for savory combinations that I can't wait to come back and try. The whole experience was warm, friendly, and delicious. Great new addition to the area. Specialty bagels like jalapeño cheddar, cacio y pepe, asiago, cinnamon and sugar and a bagel of the day. Cream cheese spreads like cannoli, cookies and cream, birthday cake, jalapeño and hot sauce. As great as the selection is, the service is even better. They don't toast their bagels for you and their bagels are chewy. The process is- you order, they grab the bagel from the basket, throw it in the slicer in front of you (very uneven slice btw) and give you the cream cheese in a container (it tasted fresh though). They basically figured out a way to do as little work as possible and charge you $5 a pop. read more

The staff is extremely respectful, kind, and down to earth the sweetest! They had no issue remaking my coffee when I mistakenly forgot to substitute the milk I wanted and offered to give me another bagel since the everything one I ordered didn't have enough "everything" on it. The staff's kindness and understanding was an absolute joy to me! As a New Jersey native, these bagels are the closest to a traditional NJ/NY bagel. I just wish they made bagel sandwiches, that would have been top notch! Not only their bagels but their iced coffee blew me away and this is coming from someone who's very picky with their coffee! Me and my friend heard a lot about Jeff's and wanted to try it out for ourselves because everyone has been raving about it. I can confirm that it was worth the hype. I got a rosemary salt bagel with chive and onion cream cheese and my friend got a asiago everything bagel with the chive and onion as well. The bagels were super fluffy and you could tell they were aa fresh as a bagel could be. We absolutely loved it! We also both got iced lattes and they were to die for. They weren't too sweet or too strong but just right for my liking. Not only were the bagels amazing, the service was incredible. The woman at the register explained to us which flavors she enjoys and what she thinks we should try. One of the workers named Kayla even offered to give us samples of the cream cheese because we were so tempted by how many flavors there were. David was also very sweet and helped us try the flavors as I haven't been impressed by a bagel place in south Florida for a while so I am so excited to make Jeff's my new favorite spot! read more
