Jeff has the best bbq chicken and customer service in town. Make the drive from Fresno all the time. Don't think he's capable of giving bad customer service like another review suggests.

If you are looking for a quick, affordable, and filling Filipino meal, Jeff's Cuisine is where it's at. We recently visited because I needed to introduce my partner to Filipino cuisine. When you walk in, you are immediately greeted, and welcomed by the staff, who were so sweet and nice. I was staring at the menu, and it was wild to me that the meal prices are $9.99! Each meal comes with your choice protein, rice, pancit noodles, and 5-pieces of lumpia. It's a crazy good deal. For our proteins we got the pork bbq and pork adobo. The food boxes were HEAVY! packed with so much food, we literally could've shared one box between us. My favorite between the two was the pork bbq. Very good flavor and with the extra bbq sauce was tasty. The adobo was little underwhelming for me. I really think it needed more sauce. The meat itself was good, and tender, but the lack of sauce and the thickness of sauce is where there's room from improvement. As someone who's eaten pork adobo my whole life, I think i'm just a little pickier, but those are my two cents. I'd definitely would get the pork bbq again though. For the pancit, I do wish they didn't cut the noodles so short, but it had good flavor when I added a little extra lemon squeeze. I preferred the white rice over the fried. I think if they just did a garlic rice without the peas and carrots, I'd enjoy it more. I know the 209 doesn't have a ton of filipino food options, but if this was your introduction to the cuisine, they do it well and at an affordable cost. The service is 10/10 and definitely would be on the rotation if I lived in the area.

I give this a 3.5 really based on bang for buck and food quality. Popped in with my daughter. It's walk up to register, order, sit down, wait for food. Food comes in to go packaging. Prices are good food is good. The bbq chicken was cooked perfectly nice and moist. Rice was good. Veggies were cabbage and green beans and rice noodles. The katsu chicken was a little overcooked. The lumpitas (lil eggrolls) were ok but a little overcooked meat inside was good. I'd definitely go back and eat again. Definitely worth a try.

Just passing by.... Looking for Filipino food for lunch. Highly rated. So we Tried it out. If you Love adobo and lumpia, you're in the right place! My husband Loved it, mind you he's very picky! We got checkin adobo.

Quick, inexpensive, large portions, hospitable, clean. Great place. Jeff is very personable and quick witted. As soon as I walked in the restaurant, I knew the food was going to be good. I ordered the suggested BBQ Pork Plate and it did not disappoint. A pile of delicious pork over fried rice, vegetables and thin noodles. Also, you get 5 Lumpia (like an egg roll) with sweet and sour sauce. I couldn't believe all of that food for only $8 and it was delicious! My son got the Chicken Adobo plate $8 and was extremely impressed. I also picked up a plate of spaghetti for later $7. You can't go wrong with Jeff's Cuisine.

I was surprised to find a Filipino restaurant in Atwater, and a good one too. And the restaurant name, Jeff's Cuisine, doesn't tell you it's a Filipino restaurant either! As you read on, you might think I'm giving a poor review. I'm not. I gave Jeff's Cuisine 5 stars. My experience with with this Filipino restaurant is just different--good, but different. Recently, I brought lunch into a customer's office and fed a dozen of his employees. The five dishes I ordered were delicious. The chicken adobo, while not overly seasoned with whole peppers, bay leaves and mashed garlic (it's how I like adobo, pork or chicken), it was surprisingly good and the chicken pieces really tender. With the pancit, I was initially disappointed. The presentation was lacking. The noodles were just placed in the large party tray, then cabbage of various sizes were seemingly put on top of the noodles as a garnish, but, again it was tasty! And I had the same initial reaction AND satisfying experience eating the fried rice. Simply made like the pancit (there were scrambled eggs mixed in with the stir-fried rice) and visually unappealing, like the pancit, and very good like the pancit! A beautiful dish it wasn't; a tasty dish it was! The Shanghai chicken & pork lumpia tasted like all the other lumpias I've eaten--delicious--both restaurant & homemade. I guess it's hard to screw up Shanghai lumpia. And the star of the feast: BBQ chicken and beef. Both were excellent. They were my favorite dishes among the five I served. Marinated in soy sauce, both meats were cooked just right as they were moist and tender. The owner told me the BBQ chicken and beef are their best selling dishes, and I stuffed myself on them! Jeff's Cuisine is a very good restaurant. A hidden gem? Yes! I didn't know a Filipino restaurant existed in Atwater until my customer told me about it. Will I return again? Absolutely! read more

Jeff is awesome! It's like walking into your Tito and Tita's place literally. The food is so delicious. BBQ Pork is definitely our favorite right now. And the lumpias! Jeff is actively engaging with customers and has great recommendations if you're not sure what to get. (everything is fire ). Both times we ate here, we walked in to order and did a phone order, Jeff was so positive and had a great vibe over the phone and in person!! Definitely a great business to support and enjoy good food with good company. read more

Jeff's has become one of our favorite restaurants. Every experience with the owners and staff has been awesome! Everyone is super friendly and great at what they do. We've always received the correct order and fast service. The food is so delicious! We usually get a couple bbq chicken meals and extra lumpia, which is more than enough for dinner and lunch the next day. They really load those plates up! Also love the online ordering, but hope they consider doing Doordash in the future. read more

Only thing that needs to be said is my semi picky 6 year old can crush a huge thing of lumpia and also the spaghetti. My hubby, dad and I also LOVE all the food. But our fave is the service! Best Filipino food in the area! I love their BBQ and their pancit! Their lumpia is really good too and a decent price compared to anywhere else! I know they have other dishes they serve on certain days which they don't have on the menu, like Dinaguan. You'll just have to call them to check when they serve it. read more

Very good service because Nanette accommodated my orders in such a short time. Thank you, Lumpia was good, so was the rest we ordered- dinuguan, arroz caldo & menudo.We still have to try the pancit!!! Please add some other menus like sinigang ( any) ,halo halo etc. Please consider opening a branch in Merced.Many UC students will appreciate especially your combos! Those are student prices!! Traveling from Reno to Merced for a wedding and stopped at Jeff's Cuisine to pick up lunch. It's delicious. I plan on eating here again when I'm in the area. But the best part was Jeff's friendliness and sense of humor, along with his sweet wife who grabbed me a cold Mountain Dew from the back. Superb customer service. Thanks for a great meal. Delicious food! Came here for lunch and I'm only upset that I had not eaten here sooner! The food and service were all very good. I asked what was recommended and was suggested the barbecue chicken with fried rice. Amazing! This place is a hidden gem. Little to no wait, but if I wanted "fast food" I would've gone somewhere else. My plate was very filling, which means I'll get to enjoy my leftovers for dinner. ;) read more

The food is fabulous. I only wish that when you stay in to eat, you would get a plate and silverware. We ate out of the Styrofoam containers with a plastic fork. That would be the biggest complaint ever and it is not a dealbreaker because the food is so good. The people are very friendly. My son took me there to have lunch while I was visiting from out of state. Now every time I come back to visit that is where I want to go to eat. read more

I'm so happy there's a Filipino restaurant in this area!! I order takeout here at least twice a month. My boyfriend and I love the bbq pork combo and the spaghetti. The lumpia is so crispy and reminds me of Filipino parties (which I just learned they have party trays available -see photo). Great food, very friendly service! read more

I have not had pancit in a very long time. I went in hoping for a tasty Filipino dinner. I was blown away! The amount of food you receive is huge! The pancit tasted just the way my Apo made it! The lumpia were nicely browned and crispy. Both the barbequed pork and chicken are succulent. I will definitely go back for more! read more

My husband, kids, and I were shopping in the area and decided to stop to get some food. We are so happy with choosing Jeff's Cuisine and wish we had tried it sooner! The staff was so warm and inviting. We got the Filipino Spaghetti for my daughter (3yo) and not only did she love it, but we all did. The char on the pork bbq was absolutely delicious and tasted so authentic and homey. For the portion that is served with each meal in comparison to the price, it can't be beat. Highly, highly recommend and we will definitely be eating at Jeff's Cuisine again. read more

My husband and I found this place by chance on a week-long road trip down the West Coast. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. We are Filipino and always wonder why Filipino cuisine isn't more popular in the mainstream culture- we often wonder at the balance Filipino restaurants have to find in order to stay authentic to what Filipino food truly is and yet cater to American tastes. For instance, sinigang isn't typically an introductory dish to Filipino cuisine because a lot of people aren't used to sour here. However, Jeff's Cuisine has found the magic balance. Not only that, the food felt like clean, healthy eating in addition to being delicious. I was extremely proud of this restaurant as a Filipino American, and still am! Keep up the great work! And, if you haven't eaten here yet, DO IT. The prices are amazingly reasonable. Also, ask what specials they have on hand if you're willing to be more adventurous! read more

I've gone to Jeff's a few time and each time I've always been greeted with friendly and kind service. The staff take pride in their business and you can tell with their service. Most places you walk in and never see the owners or hear much about them. Let me tell you at Jeff's cuisine you will meet the owner and be blown away by his kindness and humor. When I walk into Jeff's Cuisine I immediately feel like I'm at home. I'm welcomed before I can even close the door behind me. Jeff is the man... Military Veteran who will always put a smile on your face. Now about the food...The food is amazing and it's not the same ol fast food you eat every other night. I recommend the spaghetti. Told my friend from Texas I know this spot called Jeff's cusine I said we got to meet up and go there you'll love it . Food was hot and delicious as usual. We ordered the BBQ chicken combos. My friend really enjoyed it and said it was excellent. It was nice to see Jeff and his wife again. I recommend the food here and as Jeff says it's Filipino food with an American twist. Delicious, amazing portions, and the owners are the best! Jeff and his wife cook the food fresh when ordered, and are always happy to chat with the customers. The wait if FULLY WORTH IT, especially since they are only allowed to have 5 people in the store at all times (including the workers) due to COVID. Order the 17 set of lupia, it seems like a lot but they are so delicious and addicting! read more

Excellent food! I would of took a picture but it was so good I didn't want to stop eating it. I got the BBQ pork with extra meat... It was very generous portion.
