It was my first time coming and will be my last I got a mani and pedi..first of all I was not even offer a drink. I Can tell she didn't take enough of my cuticles plus she digged so much on one of my nails she cute my skin off started bleeding. She kept putting alcohol I told her to stop since it will continue to bleed. So she put some kind of blue liquid on my finger which didn't work, on top of the bottle cap she got some of my blood in it I told her she needed to throw it away is not sanitary no more I know I don't have any kind of std I work for the lab I get checked yearly...but still that was disgusting if she used it another person, she didn't throw it away she put it back in her tool box??? This place is really nice looking. Definitely looks better than your average nail salon in Mesquite! But I must say the customer service and quality of work does not match. I've only come across one nail tech that does a good job, and that's Nicki. Ive had nails break 2-3 days after I got them done, ive had horribly uneven nail filings and today was the last straw when not only were my nails so badly painted, but the lady who waxed my eyebrows made one of them super short. I am truly disgusted with this place as of now. I've tried gel and dip nails and I have never left satisfied. I will definitely not be returning to this location. If you look at the attached photos, you can see that they lady left glue all over my fingers AND didn't even clean up her paint job on the edges of my nails. I'm not even going to show y'all my eyebrows bcus I'm SO upset about them. She also left a little bit of wax on my upper eye lid. I don't like confrontation, so I didn't say anything because I would have been even more upset, but instead I felt like this would be more effective. This place is a joke. I sat down for a pedicure one Saturday afternoon and the chairs were filthy. The lady put the plastic container around the tub and toenails from previous pedicures fell into the tub. When I explained this to the lady she said that they had just cleaned it out. I like the salon a lot! it looks beautiful inside. i got everything i asked. the only thing kind of bad is that my nail lady was a little rough. she used her own fingernails to push back my cuticles which hurt quite a bit and she cut me three times with the drill. that was not pleasant, being a cosmetologist, i took proper safety sanitation, but she did not do that for me. over all, three stars. :) read more

I'm surprised after reading some of the other reviews. I had the worst pedicure I've ever had. I didn't leave a tip - I've NEVER done that before. There were piles of dirty towels in the room. The workers were yelling at each other across the room - not relaxing at all. My person kept getting up and going to talk to her coworkers. When she was working on me she was barely paying attention- looking all over the place, just swiping at my feet and toes with her instruments. When she finished she just got up and walked off. It couldn't have been anything I did or said - she didn't even acknowledge me except to ask what kind of pedicure I wanted. read more

As beautiful as the decor is at Jenna's Day Spa, I care more about how I'm treated when I'm paying money for a service. This was my second time to come to this particular "spa" for a pedicure. Upon waiting over an hour with my feet in cold water, they began the typical pedicure process. They then ask you which treatment you would like and give you a brochure which outlines each treatment. If you choose the basic (which is all I needed at the time seeing as how I get a pedicure every 3 weeks), they try to pressure you into getting a more expensive one. The gentleman that was giving me the pedicure started looking at my feet and making very offensive faces as if to insinuate I needed additional treatment. They also did the same to a friend that was with me (this was her first time and last time to come to Jenna's Day Spa). You have to be very, very stern when telling them what you want because they are unrelenting. As if this wasn't bad enough, when we went to pay for our pedicures, they charged me the basic price ($20) which is what we both asked for, but they then charged my friend the upgrade price ($25) because the pedicurist took it upon herself to provide additional services (again...not what we asked for). I will ABSOLUTELY not be back. Their loss as I am a very loyal customer when I find places that treat customers with respect. read more

Right when I walked in they remembered me from the morning and the gal remembered my color so I didn't have to hunt for it! Fixed my nail in 5 minutes! I've been a loyal customer at Jenna's for over three years. I went in last week for a gel manicure. I was very pleased with my experience. However, just two days later, the shellac started to discolor and chip. So I went back to Jenna's and asked if they could fix my nails. I was told that they were busy and they they'd need to ask the manager if they can even do that (I've never been to a nails salon that won't fix nails within a week of the original visit). I waited for the manger for about 20 minutes. Once he finally approached, he started yelling at his employee as he's pointing at me. I don't know what he said as he was speaking in his native tongue. He then finally directed me to a chair where he had me sit there and soak my nails for close to 40 minutes. I watched customers come in and get helped before me. I realize I wasn't a paying customer at this visit, but I paid $75 just two days prior for a gel manicure that simply didn't make it past day 3. Thus, I expected to be treated with the same respect as every other customer. At this point, I peeled the shellac off after soaking my nails for 35 minutes, dried my hands, and grabbed my things. An employee asked me to stay for another five minutes, but I had had it. As I was walking out, the anger merely said "you don't want to wait?" No apology and no urgency to correct the situation. Overall, Jenna's lost a loyal customer. I will never return there again. I advise you to take your business elsewhere as they don't care about their customers. read more

I took my mom here for her birthday on 1/1/20. Our usual place was closed for the holiday. Jenna's was busy, but that was expected. What wasn't expected was for the lady doing my moms nails to make her cry because the lady didn't understand any English. All she was wanting was her toenails and fingernails to be an even length. Had to cause scene before another employee told the tech what my mom was wanting. Then the guy doing my pedicure I'm like 95% sure that he was training for a position there. I was supposed to get hot towels on my legs, the towels were cold by the time he put them on. Then I paid extra for hot stones, which were cold by the time he used them. Plus, only used 1 stone for like 45 seconds on each leg. Didn't get a foot/leg massage that's generally included in any pedicure. I asked a manager later about the guy and was told he was transferred from another location. Well, he was also being babysat by other techs. I'm positive that he's not licensed to be doing nails in general. With all the difficulties we had during this visit, only thing they did was give a $10 gift card for a future visit. Save yourself some money and find another place to go to. read more

Over charged me. I asked for $25 pedicure and for full set. Don't mind paying if it would've been what I wanted. The color on my toes didn't match the color I picked on the panel and the girl messed up on my finger nails and didn't even try to fix them when she knew she wasn't doing them the way I wanted. The first time I went it was okay but they make you feel like they are better than you by how they treat you. I went back to get a fill and the guy with the mustache was VERY RUDE. As soon as my sister and I walked in to this place we were ignored by the lady standing at the front and then she asked what we need 3 times while we're looking at their menu. Felt rushed so we just picked one. We both got mani/pedi spa treatment w/ gel nail. I also asked what gel nail was to be sure and she said" it's gel nails" so I felt it wasn't helpful but I said ok. The guy who did my sisters hands was very nice and the lady with glasses who did my feet was very nice too. The other two looked mad and distracted like they didn't want to be there. My lady rushed us a lot and she did my nails standing up which made my arms tired at the end. It wasn't relaxing at all or enjoyable. We both just felt rushed, confused, and uncomfortable most of the time there. They did a good job over all but but if you are going for the experience as well I would not recommend this place. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible experience! I walked in and the place was beautiful. I knew it was owned by the same person who owns Layla's Day Spa in Mesquite so I was expecting big things. There was no one in the place at the time I went. My sister met me there to help out with my infant daughter while I got a pedicure. Not only were they rude to my sister and told her she couldn't sit in the chair next to me while I got my pedi done (keep in mind I was the only person in the place and they have 8+ pedicure chairs), but the person doing my pedi was way too rough on my feet! She actually made me bleed! If I could give them a 0 star rating, I would. Never again will I go back to Jenna's. read more

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! My daughter, sister and I have gone on two separate occasions and have experienced long waits and people being seated before us. During one visit in particular, we were waiting to receive service and the manager seated another group of three that came in after us. When we were finally seated, we waited another 10-20 mins and were rushed through the services. This was not pleasant and relaxing experience as it should have been. We felt neglected, and frustrated. Not to mention, some of the nail techs are very unprofessional... I even witnessed arguments amongst the techs! I have been to Jenna's Day Spa twice. I had Kevin and Leanne for my nail tech the first time. They were awesome. I was too pleased with their services. I have recommend several people to the Spa. My second visit was very horrible. I had this tech Yam or Lam. He was so rude too me and I am paying to get my service done. He wanted to talk to me like I was his child. I am a full grown woman. I will recommend nobody see him for nothing. He try to talk to you any kind of way. I am paying him and he is going to tell me what I have to pick for my color. I was telling him that I was going to try 2 colors to see which color look better on my skins. He stated, "You need to pick one color and it is not a debate what color you wants." There were other client's just look at him. He needs to go back where he is from and learn effective communication skills. If I return back to this place, I will never ever ever want his services again as long as I live. I will not recommend his service to NOBODY. The overall place to go is excellent. This tech will make you think the worse. He wanted me to sit down and put my feet in a nasty filter tub. I looked at him funny and then he went on and gotten the items out of the tub. He didn't clean it at all just remove the items. The water was so hot and I had to tell him. He didn't say he was sorry. I will be reporting his services to upper management. read more

My wonderful husband got me a gift certificate for the European facial, $65 dollars. The technician (& I use the term loosely) rushed through a supposedly 40 minute facial. The folks who work here are super friendly. Nails are pretty, and pedicure's put me right to sleep lol. The parafin wax is a absolute must have and worth the extra few bucks. Went here and paid $200 for the "day of beauty". They rushed through everything. Told me to take a shower in their dirty shower with a used bar of soap and a used loofah. The room was not set up after I made my appointment 2 days in advance. So she left the room every 5 minutes to get supplies which was not relaxing. The massage was horrible. They heard everyone in and out like cattle. Would not allow me time to pick out a color. She said "what you want pink?" And then just brought 2 pink choices to me and told me to pick one. I saw them do 3 people's feet in the spa bath without cleaning it between people. As soon as my nails were done they pushed me out of the chair and out the door. The lady reached into my purse and grabbed my wallet for payment instead of waiting 10 minutes until my nails dried. When I got out to my car 4 nails were messed up and they acted so annoyed when I asked for them to be fixed after I just spent $200. Will NEVER go here again. This place is unsanitary and their service is a joke! Don't be fooled by the decor!!! This is not a luxury spa it's a health hazard. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I got my nails done on a Friday and they started popping off one by one on Monday, I went back to get them redone due to the lack of quality I informed the girl before getting them redone that I didn't think I should have to pay for their mistakes and I didn't pay $75 for them to last only 3 days. She said ok ok like she understood me, after getting them fixed I left and said bye and thank you to everyone and left. I was chased to my car asking for payment I informed the same girl of my situation and I refuse to have to pay for their mistakes, if my nails had been done correctly the first time I would not be here now. She asked me to come speak to her manager which I agreed to then when I went back in the apparent "manager" was doing someone's nails and just listened as I told my story to another woman. Then out of no where this said manager Kenny looked up and started yelling at me in front of everyone. It was absolutely unprofessional and humiliating and degrading! Worst customer service experience ever! He said so what you just want your nails done for free I said yes I should not have to pay for them to fix something they did wrong in the first place. He then said so you don't want to pay I said no. He yelled at his workers "cut off her nails then!!" and all the woman he works with I assumed told him to calm down and the woman I had been speaking to prior said we will fix it for free this one time only, I said don't worry I won't be back! I went in with shoes for a wedding to get polish that matches the colors (cream, teal, and purple). I get a bit socially awkward so the staff took the shoes and picked colors that matched perfectly. I asked for small designs on two fingers per hand in the teal and cream picked. Next thing I knew I had a giant flower design on one finger. But that could have been my fault for not having a specific design in mind. Until the lady got up and came back with what I though was a topcoat. Wrong. It was neon yellow polish which was then painted over and around most of the teal we'd agreed on. I said there wasn't yellow in the shoes but she kept it there so I repeated that I didn't like the yellow. She said there should be another color so the design stands out and I said well there was purple in the shoes. I can't have expected her to remember what my shoes looked like even if she had kept using them to pick a polish so I don't mind that she didn't, but she could have asked to look at them again if it needed a new color. And definitely should have at least mentioned she was adding a new color that wasn't discussed on nails for a wedding! The solution wasn't to take the yellow off, or to redo it. It was to paint purple over the yellow. You could still see it, and it was painted over most of the teal so that part wasn't even the right color anymore. I asked if we could redo it -they are wedding nails after all! She said it was just to see the finished design so I relented. Then she did the same thing, yellow included, on the other hand. I had to say again "I really don't like the yellow at all can't you redo it without the yellow"? before it was taken off. While I had the chance to remind her I said small design I decided I should be really specific and ask for a small heart. Those turned out good. I paid and went on my way until I got home. Under the dim lighting of the spa all looked well but under normal lighting two of my fingers don't even have the base coat fully covering them. Seeing them in real lighting makes me wish I had asked them to just take it all off and walked out. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. I got the dip done on my nails, and the man doing them was very rough on my hands. He made my cuticles bleed very bad. Everyone that sees my nails winces when they see how bad he hurt me. The ladies next to him had to point out to him I was bleeding, and he laughed and said "uh oh they are going to fire me" (which I am pretty sure he was the owner) He was not paying attention to what he was doing, he was talking on his phone the whole time. When I mean wasn't paying attention, I mean it because he was buffing my knuckles and I would say "ummm" and he would look down and go "oops". He left dip residue on the skin part of my nails and one nail wasn't even close to being painted to the edge. He got up and walked off without ever saying to me if I was done or not. The lady working on my friend's nails next to me saw I was unhappy and asked if she could help me. I showed her the worst nail and she tried her best to fix it for me. When I went to check out, he told me "sorry for hurting you, I didn't even want to work today, but we are busy so I had to." Very unprofessional, and I will not go back ever again. read more
