If you've never been happy with your hairs cuts from other barber shops, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT!! You know that feeling of FINALLY finding a good barber after months or even YEARS of searching? That huge sigh of relief and the tremendous boost of confidence from getting a good cut. That's exactly how I feel every time I come here. I've only ever liked one other barber shop, but the barber I would go to mysteriously disappeared (Mitch from Schroeder's), and every other barber I went to since then has been one big disappointment after another. So you can imagine just how happy I felt when I went to Jerry's and the barber Raquel here gave me THE CLEANEST fade I've ever gotten. She fixed me up with a taper fade on the back, low fade on the side, cleaned up the top, and lined me up. All SUPER CLEAN. The hot cream razor shave at the end feels great too. I haven't had my hair cut by anyone else here, but they all look like they do a solid job. Cuts as of January 2018 are $19 and I think there's a discount for seniors and kids, making it $16 for them. (The photo of their menu on yelp is outdated. It says $14 but that was from nearly 10 years ago). Raquel has won me over and Jerry's is gonna be my barber shop from now on. read more

Oh my word. You just have to go! Local flavor at its finest. We took my husband in as a celebration -- he had a 6 month beard growth and we wanted him to get a good old-fashioned straight edge shave. Jesse was his guy, and he did a great job. They don't take appointments, and on a Saturday afternoon (presumably the busiest day) we had to wait about 20 minutes for him to get into the master chair. At first we were disappointed we didn't get "elvis" but it's ok. Jesse is very soft-spoken and so is my husband, so they were a good match. These guys are NOT efficient; but they're good at what they do and they love to make small talk. Steady stream of guys came in while we were there, very casual and comfortable. All ages and demographics. Recent newspaper feature is probably going to draw in lots more business... but I get the impression that Jerry might be just about ready to take a permanent vacation to the bahamas. :) Cash-only, obviously. read more

Raquel just gave me the best haircut I have ever received in my life. Her conversation skills was also the best I have experienced! Everything about this haircut was phenomenal. The way she touched my scalp and hair was almost like a massage. My sides and back are so sharp and defined that it would put a Ferrari to shame. Also, my dumbass thought I wanted half am inch on the sides and one inch on top. She was like "ehh that won't look good" and gave me 1/4 inch on the sides with a low fade and 1 1/2 inch on top. It was beautiful. She even noticed my cauliflower ear! That made me feel so special. She ended with a menthol straight razor shave that had my head tingling. Her conversation was enlightened, wise and funny and I feel like I truly bonded with her. On the walls are badges of local law enforcement and different sports teams. There is even a team photo of a 70s Westmont wrestling team! All for 20 bucks including too. Amazing Unfortunately other people have discovered this gem, so be prepared to wait. Had my first haircut here when I was a baby. Over 35 years ago. The old guys were incredibly cool.

I absolutely love Raquel's cuts. My friend recommended me to this barbershop about a year ago, and I've been coming ever since. I tried two other barbers there and didn't really like their haircuts, but once I realized how consistent and clean Raquel's were I just started to wait in line for her. She really takes her time lining me up, and making sure everything is exactly to my specifications. A huge bonus is she's a great conversationalist who's always super bubbly and energetic. Will be coming here until the day I die (or when she retires)! read more

I generally like this place. The staff are nice and friendly generally speaking. The haircuts are done well with nothing needed other than a picture of what you want to look like at the end. Friday's are busy as are Sunday mornings. read more

Came to my appointment on time just to have the barber tell me to "wait a little longer" so he can cut someone else who did a walk in. Later realized it was his friend and made me wait half an hour. When I finally get into the chair he rushes my fade and does it in only 20 mins. If there was a good barber on shift that day they would take much longer as fades take a while to shape and cut. I could easily tell he was rushing and trying to get me out of the chair ASAP and then messed up my entire fade... my fade jumps from a 0 to a 3 all around my head and I'm going to have to go to a new barber to fix it. There is no fade at all. He gives me a razer line up as well. Which I appreciated. But I didn't ask for it. And then I was charged extra for the shave that I didn't ask for. Before I leave I notice he didn't even line up my forehead correctly and there is a chunk of hair sticking out. I had to go back inside and make him correct it. Haircut is definitely not worth $30, and I have to pay more to have another barber fix his mistakes. I was rushed and there was way too many walk ins for only 2 barbers to handle. Seems to me like he was just trying to get as many cuts in in order to make a quick buck... kind of disappointing considering his customers are walking business cards. Awesome place. The owner's Elvis doo should give it away. At first I was a little hesitant when I walked in for my first cut due to the age of the barber crew. But I saw one of the best fades in the history of life taking place before my eyes, all fear was relinquished instantly. Great place for a cut. This place is a trip...mainly because of the hair styles of the guys who work here. That brings to mind a riddle. You walk into a barber shop and one of the guys has great looking hair, the other's hair is jacked up big time. Who do you ask to cut your hair? The guy with the crappy looking hair, of course. Presumably, most people don't cut their own hair, so the guy with the crappy hair is probably the one who cut the guy with the good hair's hair. I always think of that when i come in here because one of the guys has a hairstyle straight out of the 50s...and i'm not even sure if it was a popluar hair style back then. But so what, to each their own. These guys know what they're doing, if you are looking for a proper barber, definitely check this place out. I love the old school charm of this place. Nothing but little old men working in there and they're always so sweet with all of my kids, though my son's the only one whose hair they cut. Jesse rocks the fade! Yes, the owner, Jerry, looks like a reincarnated Elvis. I HEART his hair. Had to laugh when I saw a sign on the wall that said "Bring back the 50's." Jerry's very law-enforcement friendly...and has lots of trading cards of cops proudly displayed by his station. He brags that he's been cutting many of his customers' hair since they were little boys, and they now bring their little boys. That says a lot. 4 stars instead of 5 because I think $12 is kind of expensive for a little boy's haircut. Also, they only take cash. Overall, I'd totally recommend it. read more

Nothing but good stuff to say... Staff - fantastic. All are masters of their trade and kick out quality cuts effortlessly. I personally go to Chelsea and she rules; I walk away with my best haircut ever every time. Ambiance - old school. Vintage. You're getting a barbershop experience so expect music from that era as well as walls covered with pics and posters spanning decades. I notice something new every time I go. Price - ever spent stupid $$ on a "style" at some swanky "salon"? And then walked away feeling used and abused with maybe a halfway decent cut? Me too and never again. I get a regular guys cut and pay $14. Yes...$14. Other services vary in price but nothing is not worth the money. As long as I live in the area and Jerry's is around, I'll be there every three weeks. Stay away if you have allergies. All was great until they decided to use the blow dryer to clean the floor of massive amounts of hair. When I couldn't stop sneezing they opened the door and continued to clean the place like a park using the blow dryer to gather hair. I cannot recommend a place that thinks blowing hair around the shop with hair dryer is OK when they're are patrons sitting on the other side of the mess, getting hair and dust blown all over them. read more

I love this place, but I'm moving to San Diego and have to find a new barber shop there. I've been going to Jerry's for about a year, and Raquel has always cut my hair - She is awesome, and does a great flat top, which is hard for lesser barbers. She always trims my eyebrows, and then finishes with with hot shave cream and a straight razor on my neck. Highly recommended for that personal touch, and an old school barbershop experience. Raquel is the best barber I've ever had. She is so gentle and detailed that she puts you at ease when she is working on you. I usually get my beard trimmed as well and she goes through several steps of trimming to make sure that when she runs the razor, you don't get cut. I always wait for her and get my haircut and beard done. Keep it up Raquel! read more

I went to Jerry's based on a personal recommendation from a co-worker. I had commented on how hard it was to find a good old-fashioned BARBER shop! Boy, am I glad he was (is) a customer of Jerry's. I have now been a Jerry's customer for about 4 years, and would never go anywhere else! Other reviewers have pretty much said it all - Jerry's is a rare find, with good service, friendly and personable barbers, and "all Elvis, all the time" music courtesy of satellite radio.... One of the very first things I did when I moved to Campbell was look for a great place to get my haircut. I decided to roll the dice and choose Jerry's over the generic Supercuts and I am so glad I did! Jerry's is an old school barbershop through and through. From the decor to the straight edge razor to finish your hair. It was kind of weird to be getting my haircut from what looked like someone's dad as compared to a flamboyant asian, but I was pleased with the haircut and even more pleased with the prices. Great barbershop that I've been going to for years. Four stations, usually 3 people on staff, and the place is covered with old photographs of Campbell area high school sports teams. It can get busy on Saturdays, but the most I've waited was 15 minutes for a haircut. There is a mix of male and female barbers, some have been there for years. Your $14 haircut includes a straight razor neck shave and depending on the barber, a quick neck/shoulder massage. Jerry (the Elvis looking guy in the photos) no longer works there, I assume he's retired. I've had a mix of awesome haircuts and a couple of average ones, again depending on who ends up cutting your hair. Some barbers are faster than others. I've been there for 10 minutes getting a haircut and I've been there for 30, it just depends on who you get. It's a barbershop, not a salon - I've never seen a woman getting her hair cut there, nor anyone getting their hair washed or the hot towel shave. No reservations and cash only. read more

They messed up my hair so bad. I don't think the guy even knew what a fade or ball taper was. Sad excuse of a haircut! The haircut was so bad that I couldn't help but laugh it off. Even my uber driver was like "woah he got you bad" Regrets were had, never going back. He didn't even give me a fade! It was even the whole way and the ball taper was like half way up my head. Great old school barber shop in Campbell. I went in after reading reviews here on Yelp and it's all true. Jerry (the owner) really does have an Elvis hairdo. There are four older barbers here and there's 50's music playing on Sirius radio. I've tried all four of the barbers and they all know what they're doing. men's cuts are 14 bucks and I found the 'other' Jerry to be my personal favorite. Just moved to the West San Jose area and kept hearing about this barber shop in Campbell. I decided to check it out today on my way home to get my mohawk trimmed up. Walked in and was greeted by Jerry and his throwback Elvis hairdo. I knew this was the guy to cut my hair. Great conversation and loved all the high school team pictures on the wall. Reminded me of my old high school sports playing days. It was a definite pleasure being there and enjoyed my hair cut. read more

Jerry's was very highly rated by other Yelpers, so I thought I'd try it out. The place reminded me of Barber Shop, but with white people. Joe cut my hair, he did an awesome job. My girlfriend liked my haircut better than the cut I was getting before moving here, except this one cost me less than half what I was paying before. Also exciting, they have old fashioned straight-razor shaves for my stubble. Jerry has the craziest hairdo, he really does look like Elvis. The King lives! read more

I am very picky when choosing someone to cut my hair. When my last barber moved to a different country, I was in search of a new barber shop. I am very happy that Yelp led me to Raquel. Raquel is very good with clipper and gives a perfect haircut every time. She is very detail oriented; which I am grateful for.
