Anyway, I was in the area running some errands and I was literally dying of hunger since I haven't eaten anything all day. Maybe I was secretly saving it for Jersey Mike's. I don't know lol. Since I've been to other chains, I already knew what I wanted, which was their Original Italian, Mike's way (which comes with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt). I forgot to add pickles, but I'll do it next time!! They have cold subs, hot subs, salads, chips, soda fountain drinks, etc. There's something for everyone. I haven't tried the hot subs yet because I'm so in love with the Original Italian. Oh and the sandwiches come in 3 different sizes: mini, regular, and giant. I just wanna say that it was really convenient to use the app while running errands, so I used it to place a pick up order during a busy time. I think the sandwich was made on time, but who knows The cashier wouldnt acknowledge a group of us standing just behind the register area waiting for a chance to get our food, The cashier hat/visor was so low they were able to effectively not look or make eye contact with anyone he didnt want to. and took so long with each guests in the sandwich line and only concentrating on the sandwich line. Their certified Angus Beef top rounds are cooked right in the store. An employee will cut the meat right in front of you as you order. Their bread is fresh, baked daily, and to me, just seems softer and tastes better. They ask you whether you want it Mike's Way (little TM sign) which consists of lettuce, onions, tomatoes, spices, drenched in oil and vinegar. Their way of making sandwiches is simple so don't expect a long assembly line or getting a variety of veggies. The prices are a bit higher so expect that. The line can get long since they take their sweet ass time making your sandwich. "Don't Rush Me" - Taylor Dayne. They got cold and hot subs, wraps, and will even make your sandwich into a salad. I'm all about trying to eat healthy this year so I always get their Turkey Breast and Provolone. It's lean and full of flavor, made with 99% fat free turkey. With Jersey Mike's poppin' up everywhere these days, I figured it was time to finally give this place a try! The subs here are definitely solid. I ordered a regular-sized "Italian" and the size was enormous!!! Very generous portion sizes! I was happy to discover that they slice their meats in front of you, once you place your order, which was really cool to see! You definitely don't ever see that at places like Subway! I got my sandwich Mike's Way, which means it came drenched in oil, vinegar, and Italian spices - it was preeeetty messy, but it made my sandwich taste really moist! I don't like mayo, so I would definitely get it this way again! The prices are a bit high, but like I said...the portion sizes are AMAZING! They also have lots of good deals here and send out coupons fairly regularly (I recently got one for $13.99 for 2 drinks, 2 subs, and 2 chips). Good sandwich, not ready when promised. Positives are that it's a good sandwich. Way better than say, Subway. Negative is that I ordered on the website for pick up at a certain time. It was a fairly large order, so I ordered with plenty of time for them to make it. I got there expecting to just pick it up and run out, but they had barely started making my order. I had a bunch of kids to feed, and a very narrow window to do it, so having to wait around while they made my sandwiches was very frustrating. It's not like they were incredibly busy either, there were one or two other people in the store. I order using the app to save time and limit Covid exposure, I show up 10 minutes after "ready" time, and order is not ready for pick-up. I check in to ask if my order is almost ready and they say it's in the queue. 20 minutes later, it is finally ready. From time of order, took 50 minutes. Went here for lunch today. I got the regular club sub. My sandwich was really good. Their "juice" is a oil and vinegar mixture. It was yummy! Husband had the regular meatball sub.
