Haven't been to a Togo's in years. Was early for my haircut down the street and I was hungry. Got an Albacore Tuna Sandwich large. Side of chips and drink. Honestly it was a very good sandwich. I usually eat pretty healthy and don't get sandwiches very often. This was a perfect sandwich with soft fresh bread, fresh veggies and perfectly made Tuna Salad. Friendly service and the owner was very nice and courteous. Plus they have Coke products. That's why I don't go back to Subway or Jersey Mikes anymore. They carry Pepsi which I hate. Plenty of seating and clean tables. Surprised they had to put a sign about not putting soda in water cups or not bringing your old cup back on another day to get soda. Like seriously? I know times are tough but how ghetto and low life do you have to be to steal soda. lol. If you get a water cup put water in it. Don't steal soda. You want soda then pay for it like a civilized human being. read more

Dang, I wish there were more TOGOs in this world. This location is especially clean and friendly. Everything is always fresh and I get in and out fairly quick. There is a nice parking lot around back off of Imperial. I love their salads (Santa Fe Chicken and BBQ Chicken Ranch in particular) and my husband is a big fan of their sammies. Cookies, chips and drinks are the typical fare. Why is Subway such a bigger chain?? TOGOs is far superior!! Just had to give a little shout out to this particular location. CHEERS!! read more

Noticed Togos while making a u turn to head to my Providence appointment. Figure I'd stop by afterwards. I had not been to a Togos in a while since the ones closer to me have closed down. I walk in and noticed the facility was very clean. Greeted by staff with a smile. One thing that caught my attention was the music. I love it. I love listening to great music while I have my meal. Since I have not been here in a while, I had to really scan the menu and figured a nice Italian sandwich will do (#16). The white bread was soft, the ratio of meat vs bread was perfect. I loved Togo's sandwiches in my younger days, but I have kind of gotten away from sandwiches in general lately. I have always really liked their distinctive inclusion of pepperoncini peppers in almost all sandwiches. I was in the rare mood for a sandwich, so I stopped by the Brea Togo's to pick up a sandwich to go. This location is conveniently situated right on the corner off Imperial Highway, with a few other businesses in the same building. They have a small patio area out front with a few tables, one with an umbrella. The inside was very clean with a good amount of seating for a smaller shop. The walls are a vibrant orange color, and the large backlit Togo's sign on the back wall really caught my eye. I arrived around 6:30pm on a weeknight as they were preparing to close for the evening. I'm guessing it was the owner behind the counter who greeted me while he was putting together a sandwich. He was very cheery and personable, which immediately gave me a positive impression of the shop. I ordered a cold roast beef sandwich on whole wheat bread, and I added swiss cheese. While he was making my sandwich, I mentioned that I really like the pepperoncini peppers to which he replied "Extra pepperoncinis for you!" which I appreciated. For an extra $3.75, I upgraded from regular size to a large so I'd have half for later. I went home and immediately ate half of the sandwich. It had a good amount of ingredients, and they were all very fresh. I love roast beef and swiss, and it was very good, especially with the extra peppers. Their prices are reasonable and they have a good variety of hot and cold sandwiches. Service was great and I really enjoyed the glowing personality of the owner. The quality of the sandwich was great. However was there at 10:30 on a Tuesday. They didn't have any bags, so literally had to carry my sandwich in just its wrapper. Bill was $16 something, gave a $20 and the register only had one dollar in it. So he gave me a $1 change and said here, have a drink cup. Sorry I don't have change. The restroom needs paper towels. The Mediterranean Chicken wrap was overloaded with lettuce and very little chicken. I certainly will not order it again. All the ingredients of the sandwich should be proportionally put together to feed a human being for the price the human being is paying for the product. The staff always asks "do you want everything on your order?" Well, if the price of the order includes all the ingredients listed on the menu why would I not want everything on the order since I am paying the full price of the product???!!! If one is allergic to something, he or she would let the staff know to exclude something. If I don't want everything on the order, are you going to reduce the price of the order since I am not buying all the ingredients on the order? Weird questions the staff ask when you place the order. The quality has gotten better but the owner should maybe stop parking his car not only in front of the establishment but should also not park in 2 parking spots. What kind of owner does that?! Shouldn't that be for the patrons and not to keep watch of your Mazda lol! That and the way he talks to his employees in the presence of customers, is probably why he has such high turnover. Your car is not special man, you shouldn't take prime customer parking because you think you are entitled. We went to Togos in Anaheim Hills and the girly that helped us was super friendly and nice. She made our sandwiches just how we wanted especially my husbands (extra vinegar and oil) and giving me an option of spring greens for my sandwich. The shop was super clean and comfy. read more

I haven't been to a Togo's in awhile but this location is very close to where I work. I went with the regular size turkey and avocado. I had the lettuce and tomato with salt and pepper. The sandwich bread (white) was pretty big and thick. My only complaint is that the avocado mash does not have any flavor, so I had to add some more salt and pepper. read more

This place has excellent customer service, every employee was patient when I made my decision on my order. The soup broccoli cheddar was extra creamy, the toppings tasted fresh on my sandwich and they even allowed me to sample two soups before I decided. Also they have a really good deal that comes with a regular size sandwich, chips and drink for seven. Great deals! Also the same employees work in the Baskin Robbins l, I ordered a vanilla scoop but was disappointed with my order, the employee was nice enough to give me a free scoop. Although it's just a Togo's(there's also a Baskin Robin's inside), I've had a pleasurable experience every time I've come here. The owner(possibly just a manager) is extremely friendly and really appears to enjoy his job. The sandwiches are tasty, and so is the ice cream. They even honored a coupon from a different Baskin Robin's location. Service here is top notch. I have been here several times for lunch and get their combo deal with the chips and drink for $7.99. I usually pick roast beef. I have tried their sandwiches both hot and cold. Toasted is the way to go for anything! The customer service is great but what lost some stars is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Often times the soda machine has soda all over and the counters and tables are dirty or sticky. I have not once seen anyone behind the counter come to the front to clean. Maybe they only clean a couple times per day? Parking is adequate although since there is a hotel nearby, some of the cars that park there are sketchy. Not sure if it's a extended stay or what. I was skeptical to go to Togo's seeing that there was 3.5 stars on Yelp; many on here complained about service. I decided to have lunch here today and was thinking back at how long this location has been here...probably at least 20 years! I remember I came and got a sandwich around 15 years ago. That must be an indicator that it's not bad if they have been in business that long. I was bored of Subway and wanted something different. I came in around noon and there was about 6 customers inside which was a good sign to me! There was an older man that made my sandwich and his customer service was excellent, very friendly, offered suggestions and was a completely different experience than what I was already expecting after reading Yelp. Probably the manager or even owner as others have mentioned. Even the other girls that were making sandwiches even greeted a group of customers by name. Customer service seems great here. Maybe they took the Yelp reviews seriously and are working hard at changing the experience. I was already in a good mood before I even got my meal seeing how friendly and helpful they are here. The price was spot on, $13 for a large sub, drink and chips. I was really full. The quality of the sub was delicious. They have a Coke Freestlye machine so unlimited drink options. Have you guys ever had your sandwich wrong from an online order and had a manager throw a sandwich back at you without a refund? I have. See PHOTOS below. I placed an online order as I usually do for Togo's and went to pick it up. I grabbed my sandwich from the manager who was kind at the time. Once I got to my office I noticed my ABSOLUTELY PLAIN sandwich had mayo and mustard all over it. Mind you, online allows you to completely customize your order and NO WHERE did it say ADD MAYO OR MUSTARD. So I called and went back in to get my corrected sandwich. This is where the manager was no longer kind. I had explained that I drove over 5 minutes to the location and that my lunch was already over. I also let him know multiple times that the online order never said to ADD anything. The online order actually NO OF EVERYTHING. This is when I asked for a refund and he slammed my new sandwich into the old bag filled with mustard because the sandwich before was leaking, and shoved it into my hand. I again asked for a refund but he said NO because of my attitude. Not to mention once I looked down I noticed my finger pulsing. I realized this man just shoved a sandwich at a woman for asking for a refund over a MISTAKE he did. Here are pictures of my hand/nail once I got to my office. In regards to this TOGO's Sandwiches location in Brea, the title only spells half the truth. Confused? FACT - there's a Baskin Robbins inside the sandwich shop as well. With a 2 pack combo like TOGO's and BR's - it's like Batman, but with Robin also by his side. I guess you can it, the Dynamic Duo of Lunchtime. Both companies report to Mainsail Partners, based in San Jose, CA. What's a tad bit more interesting is that on the East Coast, you'll see Dunkin' Donuts paired with Baskin Robbins. I prefer TOGO's over Subway any day, not only do they have a much better, more diverse menu, but the taste is much better as well. I think prices are a bit high for what you get. Came in for a quick lunch and lost my appetite as soon as I got to the counter! My sandwich wasn't the issue , it was the teenager next to him that rudely interrupted to forcefully insist that I couldn't use a coupon with the veggie sandwich (giving up meat for lent) since it's a special sandwich.
