So I normally love this place. Normally this is the only sandwich shop I go to. But the last 3 times I've ordered they have been out of their Rosemary Bread, it's our favorite part of ordering there. I don't really have an issue with them being out, hey, it happens. My issue is the last time I ordered I specifically asked for it and they said they had it, I went to pick it up and nobody said anything was different, I left a tip, and only when I got home did I find out it was the regular white bread. I called the restaurant and I asked the supervisor why I wasn't even told about it, he told me that he was sorry but it was "just bread" and he couldn't help me. Then I went to look at my receipt and they put a different order's receipt in my bag, the order wasn't even close to mine. Was this done on purpose so I couldn't confirm with a receipt what I ordered because they knew they messed up? Anyway this is like the first bad review I've written, I really hate doing this stuff but the supervisors "just bread" comment really got me mad. read more

yes they are open and trying. i ordered a regular chipotle chicken and a tuna salad tub. while i am standing there they ask me what i want in the salad, so i tell them the works. they make it and put in on the table . after minutes my sandwich comes out and gets handed to me. now this is Aug 22nd i am sure they have been doing this for months but here is where irt gets interesting. i ask them about my salad and point to the one that had been sitting for at least 15 minutes by then. they look and say it was not mine. so i have to wait. in the meantime (the sign said max 5 customers), i watched it go from 6 to over 10. my salad comes and i tell them i had not paid. i pay then run out and when i get home notice that my salad is warm, i touch the meat and go aahh they messed up gave me a chipotle chicken salad. this place is in need of some management and leadership. the workers are working hard but if they cannot even watch customer count should they be allowed to be in business? read more

Don't go here during COVID 19. We ordered online and were given a 12:31 pick up time. We arrived at 12:30. The place was packed. The sign on the door said only 5 allowed in at any one time and there were at least 10 people inside. I went in just long enough to ask if my order was ready. They had a table set up for pick up but nothing on the table. I waited outside for another 30 minutes watching people come and order and leave. Finally at a little after 1pm I went back in to get them to make my order that was supposed to have been ready at 12:31. The one sandwich that I ordered was good, but not worth the stressful half hour wait. They need to work out there contactless order pick up system. read more

Jersey Mike's is one of our favorite take-out venues. If you feel like Jersey Mike's, go to the Santa Rosa location or any other location not owned by Angel Velazquez. The Lantana location has a practice of leaving the phone off the hook so that you can't complete a telephone order. They apologized to me on three separate occasions and i reached out to the manager and there has been no change. Our last order was an online order for hot sandwiches. We were instructed to pick up the sandwiches 50 minutes later and of course they were cold because as the receipt on the bag stated, the sandwiches were made 5 minutes after ordering. I reached out to corporate with no response, I reached out to other Jersey Mikes customer relations and emails have been sent to the owner with no response. This particular Jersey Mikes is located in the heart of Camarillo and could be a gold mine if the workers would leave the phone on the hook. We have been in there several times at dinner hour, totally empty and always, the phone is off the hook. Shame on you Angel Velazquez for not caring enough to respond to concerns but to run your business in such a disappointing manner. We will not be back to the Lantana location. read more

My husband got a free lunch coupon. We went for the first time; and we were impressed! They cut the meat as you order it. (It's not precut like subway). The subs are simple: lettuce, tomatoes, onions. But, you can really taste how fresh all the ingredients are. If you enjoy sandwiches I would recommend you give them a chance. read more

Don't order the Philly Cheese steak here. I made the mistake since I'm a huge fan of Philly Cheese steaks (yes I'm aware I need to go to Philly to try one but that's too far!!) The bread was all soggy, the cheese wasn't that great and the meat was just BLAH! Other than that all my friends loved there sandwiches while I, starving and hungry, ate the whole gross Philly steak. GRRRRR!! Maybe it's another sign to start eating healthy...? This place was a bit of a drive obviously but it was worth it in the end. The inside is very clean and well kept. When you go to order they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you. Pretty rad. I'm waiting to see if any of the guys screw up and cut themselves.... ok I kid, I kid that would be fucked up! Im from the east coast and this is the closest thing I'm getting to a hoagie or a cheesesteak. It's a little pricey and not quite on the money for taste, but the sandwiches are pretty good. The subs are good here. They put way more meat and veggies on than Subway does. However, you also pay for it. I hadn't been going in about a year since I found a long hair in my sub about halfway through. But, we broke down and went a few more times. Last week...found another long hair in my sub! In general jersey mikes meats and breads are pretty decent. The problems with this restaurant is the staff doesn't know proper food safety procedures. Multiple times I've seen different employees go from handling money to handling food without changing gloves. They get shocked when you call them out on it so it seems like they have not been taught right by management. Besides the glove issue, 'mike's way' does not mean soak my bread with vinegar and oil until its mush. read more

DONT GO TO THIS LOCATION. I did not have a pleasant experience with customer service my first time here and against my better judgement came in last night to order a few sandwiches for my family. From the beginning, the girl I was ordering from had a bit of an attitude and seemed exasperated. I let it slide since it was 8:30 pm and closing was at 9. But, The longer i stayed the worse it got. After I told her which sandwiches I wanted she was writing them down and slammed her pen down, didn't ask what bread I wanted, slammed bread down onto the counter, cut up the bread I didn't want in a really pissed off manner, was slamming cheese and meat onto the cutter. I couldn't even chime in to let her know because she was whispering to another worker behind the counter and then too busy being nasty saying something along the lines of "I have to do everything myself. We don't have enough time. It's too late I didn't even notice how late it was." Why are you having this conversation in front of customers? And another worker came from the back asking her a question and her being very rude to him as well. It was disgusting and deplorable. I was not comfortable having to tell her what I was going to want on my sandwiches with her having that kind of energy. So I said I'm going to cancel that and started to walk out. And she had the nerve to yell after me and say "ARE YOU SERIOUS???." I turned around and said YES you're really rude and walked out. I wasn't going to spend money at a place that employs people with such negative energy towards not only customers but fellow coworkers as well. And I definitely was not going to eat food prepared by someone throwing crap together with a major attitude. The location on Santa Rosa road has far better service each and every time. Saturday's are when the rookies are working. I literally walked in and waited to order for about 30 seconds and they guy finally asked me if I was ready. Of course I am after 30 seconds. Than when I paid it took them about 3 minutes to figure out how to check each sub out.. The whole time the manager is cleaning the bathroom. Tip make sure your employees are trained and know how to use a register. Rant over but the food was good tho :) read more

I love Jersey Mike's, but this location has some serious problems with filling online orders. Everytime I have ordered online they have messed it up. The last order I did, the App said it would be ready at 6:10. I show up at 6:10 and they said they were working on. 10 minutes later I ask where it was and he didnt even remember me talking to him 10 minutes prior. They found the slip below some bread and in the meantime every customer that walked in after me already had their sandwich and had left. It took 25 minutes after my pick up time to get my order. Someone needs to teach them that people ordering online are just as important as a customer standing in front of them. read more

Going back to being at the original in Jersey, I love Jersey Mike's and we only eat subs from them whenever we want a sandwich. This Jersey Mike's depends on the day you catch them however. If the owner is in, do not expect to get much meat on your sandwich. WAY less than at any other Jersey Mike's location. I ordered a hot sub (the Big Kahuna) and even paid for extra meat but one of his employees caught him putting a standard amount on even though I paid extra and clearly ordered extra meat. If the kids are working, they do a better job and keep this place in business. Great sandwiches and one of our favorites, but the other JM franchises give you much better value. We order from here about once every week or two and lately the bread has been very stale as well. It seems like it is going down hill, but let's hope not as every other option in Moorpark is terrible. read more

I wasn't expecting much, however, after eating the delicious California sub, mike's way, I came to the conclusion that it is better than subway. Lest time going to this place. And we will not be going back. We ordered three sandwiches, of which all three breads were soggy on the bottom and dry on the top. We also ordered a kids meal. It included a cookie. The sugar cookie was so incredibly soggy. We didn't even bother taking it out of the wrapper. You could see the oil sitting on top of the cookie, as well as gathered in the corner of the wrapper. It looked disgusting. Also, the chips from two different bags out of the three we bought were stale. So we didn't eat any of those. Gross, gross, gross. Don't waste your money. The customer service was not the greatest. We mentioned it being our first time. And I was a little grossed out by the mess on the counter where they were preparing food. It was littered with crumbs, meat slices, and chunks of bread. I ordered a number 1 which is a bacon/lettuce and tomato sandwich and got a bacon sandwich with no lettuce and tomato. There was also no veggies on the rest of the sandwiches I ordered.
