It's a cute little joint with thoughtful decorative touches that start from the door to the entrance and the outside yard, and extends inside. Brilliant that it has a drive through and even better that it has a parking lot! The popper burger with jalapenos and rosemary and cream cheese and bacon and jam...was brilliant. The burgers was still a little rare which is how I like it. The chicken tokka burger was really flavorful. The only one (surprisingly) that didn't have a pop of flavor...was the Nashville hot. Apparently the menu here is bigger - there are chicken based options that you can't find in legacy west (due to competition with another chicken sandwich spot). I always enjoy the pb&j slider and the chicken was new - heavy like the other options but also super delicious. The staff are friendly and I do love what they did to the bathroom walls!

Like I had puddle of dressing at the bottom of the bowl. I also got the caramel apple lemonade. I hate to say I hated something, but I hated this. Once they deliver the food to you, I paid through credit card and then you can tip them so I gave them an 18% tip as they were nice and serve the food to me. The food is very messy and oily so make sure you bring some hand sanitizer. They packed in a lot of napkins as well. The burger itself was just alright, was a little cold for me though so not so sure how long it was waiting. The lettuce and tomato was a little on the soggy side. The meat itself was just alright. When I ate it, I did not experience the wow factor. I can not complain about the price however. Overall, I rather go to Inn-n-out, but I am glad I got one of the places to try in Dallas out of the way.

When you turn into the parking lot behind Shake Shack there is a paid parking lot under the Crescent that you can easily park in if none of the very few street level parking spots are available. You can get your parking ticked comp'ed if you remember to bring it with you into the restaurant. There was barely anyone there, and the food was not cooked particularly fast but it was delicious and I really enjoyed sitting on the patio enjoying the view of McKinney Avenue. Truck Yard is one of my favorite laidback spots in Lower Greenville. This was actually the first place I ever tried spicy dill pickle chips, and now I'm hooked. One thing I especially appreciate is the QR code ordering system. It's super fast and efficient, which helps keep the experience relaxed instead of spending forever waiting in lines or trying to flag someone down. Definitely one of the best casual hangout spots in Dallas for drinks, music, and an easygoing afternoon or night out.
