Major disappointment. We've been to Jersey Mike's in a number of different locations and states and have never experienced the poor service and mis-made food before. The young lady at the cash register was extremely soft spoken, we had to ask her multiple times to repeat the price. As we stood there waiting for our subs, we saw other people also ask her to repeat herself. When it got busy, she left the register to help cook. Unfortunately, several people hadn't paid yet and were left waiting, unsure what was going on. To top it all off, our food, which took about 15 minutes to make, was wrong and we didn't find out until we got home. One sandwich was missing the lettuce and the cheese was only on half the sandwich, while the other was on the wrong bread and was missing peppers. Not going back to this store and rethinking Jersey Mike's overall. read more

My fav roast beef regular Mikes way was freaking yummy, but the service was strangely poor for a Jersey Mike's. My loyal Indianapolis Jersey Mike's locations are warm, inviting, and customer service is top notch. This Grand Forks North Dakota location was cold and slow, except for the nice cashier that was apologizing for the teams lack of caring. Mike would be embarrassed! read more

Even though there was no way anyone could "steal" the sandwich. The bag was taped shut with a label. I was promised coupons for free sandwiches that I never got. However over the course of our last 3 orders from this business at LEAST one of us have received our subs soggy and swimming in oil and vinegar. Great place, great sandwiches, best eaten at Mike's. The high point of Mike's is the freshness. They cut the meat as you order, so you won't get fresher. The sizes for price are good. The cleanliness good and the wait staff friendly, but it's still new, so a bit too early to judge. As it stands, a top choice for a sandwich in The Forks. Only one concern, and this largely applies to carry out orders. They offer most sandwiches "Mike's Way" which includes "The Sauce". This equates to a very generous dousing of oil and vinegar. I've eaten Mike's 3 times in its shot existence at this location and the one time I ate at the location, Mike's Way, or more specifically, with The Sauce, it was perfect. The two times I brought it home, the bread got a bit soggy. It's not a tragedy, in fact, some folks like this. Word to the wise, if you don't like this, simply don't get it Mike's Way! I'm basically only reviewing one kind of sandwich that I've had twice. It's the Italian. I liked the fact they listed so many meats on the menu. Then they sliced the meat in front of me. All the ingredients and the bun were really good. As a old retired trucker I've eaten so many Subway subs that I could touch any for a couple of years. This is nothing like one of their subs at all. There's a lot of sand which here. I was used to ordering the 12" at Subway so I ordered a full sandwich here. I've been to this location multiple times and have had 2 different sandwiches, which I'll recommend here. The Club Sub 4/5 Chicken Bacon Ranch 4/5 It's a small interior with some seats and tables. However, I almost always get it to go. The service is touchy sometimes, and that's why it's a 3/5 and not a 4/5. My most recent visit was lovely. All of the employees were polite, and they seemed to be a family. It almost made me want to ask for a job myself. Another employee came in, and they all welcomed her, and it truly seemed like a family. Unfortunately, not all visits are like this. During busy times, especially communication can be hard, and you'll get a crabby worker to deal with. Overall, it's pretty good with some spotty service. If eating for 2, I would suggest finding a sub you'd both like and getting a giant. They average around $17 compared to a normal (which is 1/2 a giant) go for around $~9-10, saving you almost $4. The guy who was slicing the meat was annoyed because we were still trying to decide, so he was shaking his head in annoyance and was beyond rude! My husband made the comment that sometimes you have to ask people questions about their order and he was just ignored. I would like to make the point that nobody was in line so it's not like anyone was being held up. I've eaten an numerous Jersey Mike's in CA and I have NEVER been treated like this!! their staff talks way to quiet. had a voucher for a regular sub and got a giant so I paid the difference but it came out to be $9 with out tax. the sub was 16.95 for giant and 9.75 for regular. doesn't add up. couldn't hear a word the people said. their cashier had no enthusiasm. also told them I wanted it warmed since they asked and I said yes but it wasn't warm. also it took like an hour to get the food (20 minutes realistically) read more

I'm not one to complain, but I've never been to a Jersey Mike's location with such a distasteful experience. It's one of my favorite places to go for a sub, and since I just moved here I wanted something familiar. Well, I don't know if I'll be back. I'll drive to Fargo the next time before I visit the Grand Forks location again. I ordered ahead via the website. I arrived past the time it was due by like 3 mins and the sandwich was not yet on the "to-go" table. I thought, "Well maybe they are working on it". I'm a pretty easy going person and I waited 5ish minutes. In the meantime, there was a bag sitting by the register the entire time. I thought maybe that sand which is mine? But how would I know since not a single person greeted me or spoke to me the entire time I stood around. Finally, I walked up to a woman who was cleaning the meat cutting machine and asked her if one of the sandwiches on the grill were for me. She RUDELY looked at me and said, "whatttttt? Like I can't hear you". Ok. So I asked again a little louder. She replies back, "I still can't hear you". So by this time I'm furious and raised my voice and said, "Are one of the sandwiches on the grill for Katelyn!!!!". In my head I'm thinking this woman must be deaf, and how in the world does she have a job in customer services!! After my loud moment she goes the the bag that was on the counter the ENTIRE time I was there and said in a rude tone, "oh yeah! It's down here...so sorry about that!" I'm pretty sure she wasn't sorry. I grabbed my bag and said, "ohh..hmm..well it wasn't on the table" and left the store. Another customer witnessed this and even said something like, "Gee, no one paid attention to you...I'm sorry". THE CUSTOMER APOLOGIZED?! What!!! I don't know who is running this place. But if I were a manager, this lady would be GONE! You want a business to thrive? Teach your employees on more then how to make a sandwich and focus on customer service.
