I have not been a big fan of Jersey Mikes and have eaten at locations from time to time or on the road. The last time I had one was over a year ago. I was going for lunch last week and saw this location and figured I would give it another shot. I am glad I did! I went for Roast Beef and after talking to the staff they convinced me to at least try the Italian. I put it on a wrap and they added everything I wanted. When I got back to the office tore into in. Every bite as good as the last (You would think I was reviewing a steak here! LOL) I was hungry today and went back and ordered Roast Beef. I asked for it to be toasted and one of the guys sugessted I put the whole thing on the grill. He melted the cheese, toasted the bread and made the sandwich. Again delicious. The BEST part about this location are the 3 guys who work there. They OBVIOUSLY like thier jobs and it shows with the care how they make the sandwiches and their freindly attitude. We live in LO, we ordered a rare roast beef sandwich and my husband wanted an Italian sub.......ordered online, and paid for it... I picked up the order and drove home (40 minutes round trip) get home and open the bag, NOT OUR ORDER......two small turkey subs with bacon.....stale bacon at that, and I don't eat bacon...... So we spent $20 for two subs and somebody else got that order, and we ordered larger sandwiches..... Husband called, told them we did not order small turkey subs, gave the order, one rare roast beef and Italian, the guy said 'we ran out of roast beef at 1:00.......We ordered the sandwiches at 12:20.......got there at 1:00 for my 1:06 pick up time...... We have a different sandwich shop within walking distance, but we choose to drive to Jersey Mike's 4 miles away. Yummy sandwiches, very friendly staff, and a nice clean store. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was just so so. Either a lot of mayo or squirt white cheese degraded the taste. Did have it delivered, maybe the food sat to long from the restaurant to delivery. I just have to say, what a disappointment! The sub I ordered (A bacon ranch chicken cheese) had very little meat, almost no cheese, and they forgot the bacon (we drove too far to go back). Like one of those vending machine sandwiches at the airport. For almost $10, I expect my sub to be amazing....not the puny, skimpy sub I got. Give them credit for putting a location in this center. This thing has been bad mojo for all businesses except Taco Bell and Burger King. I love their sandwich. I really love the fact that the meat is freshly cut and everything is fresh. I ordered a turkey wrap. The pricing is higher then subway and less veggie options but the meat is a lot more flavorful. They have a great lakers game card going on right now. We won a free sub and then we won on another visit a buy one get one free. Nice! read more

Consistently gets my order wrong. Delivers room temperature soda. Delivers the wrong soda. Doesn't pick up phone in order to rectify the problem. Pro:So this is my first time in very long time visiting Jeresey Mike. i was impressed to how nice the coworker was. They gave me extra avocado than they would at subway for the same price that i pay. Which was nice. And they are smiling. There were two people. cons: 1) they need more people working during peek hours. 2) OMG THEY NEED TO BE MORE SANITIZING. its disgusting that they leave the knife after using it on the counter. This is not your house. this is restaurant. After the every use. The knife is suppose to go to a bucket of water. 3) The bread that was used for my tuna was out side even before i got there. it was sitting there. it wasn't taken straight out of oven 4) the wait was a bit longer than i expected. 2 ppl were working for the same customer. Avoid this location at all costs. I love Jersey Mike's, I eat there at least twice a week. I always order the 13 but instead of ham I order turkey. This location is literally the only place that charges me for extra meat when I make that request. I've literally been to over 10 different locations and they all substitute the ham for turkey. We order here all of the time on door dash and it's always great. But this last time I ordered the big kahuna steak and cheese sandwich was the best one ever. Walked in at 11am to pick-up a sandwich. There were 12 people waiting in line. The guys were busy handling a catering order and ignoring the 12 people in line. One guy was taking orders as the other guys were making sandwiches. No one knew what was going on. So disorganized and sad to see a place ran so poorly. We eat Jersey mikes once a week. We have never been to this location but it has a very amazing staff. Ryan was very informative about the menu, super sweet and knowledgeable. Would come back! I normally don't even write reviews but I just had to now, this use to be a really good location but now EVERYTIME I make an online order AND give it more time than the expected ready time it gives you my order isn't ready. Wow, what happened to this once vibrant center? I expected to see tumbleweeds rolling by. In the corner closest to the Barranca/Von Karmen intersection was a strip of businesses holding out for better times again. My destination, Jersey Mikes was one of the unfortunate few huddling together in this desolate huge parking lot. I had never been to a Jersey Mikes before and had heard/read conflicting reports. I had put them in with the Quiznos' of the world, maybe a scosh higher. It took me 3 times to get past the busy signal starting at 11:30. After several rings a helpful but hurried voice took my order and said thanks Sam just before hanging up. Hmm, not aware that I speak with a lisp, but whatever. I walk up to the "pay here" sign and have to wait a few minutes while the register guy finishes his personal conversation with his buddy standing next to me. During the lunch rush. OK, not liking this place already. Pay my nearly $11 for a reg tuna sub with avo, small bag of chips and a small drink. This is why I prefer to make my own lunch. Less hassles, not too much food, and a helluva lot cheaper. I had heard that for a better sandwich one needs to order it "Mikes way." I think that means they squirt oil/dressing all over it. Well that might work for a meat or veggie sandwich but it turns the tuna into a mushy mess. And if you don't eat it right away it turns the roll into a soggy mess as well. Live and learn eh? Everything seemed very fresh and it was still a pretty tasty sandwich, and I'll remember my faux pas with "Mikes way." At least with the tuna. My office is very fond of Hostage Lunches, so much, in fact that most of us have come to groan if only because we know it's yet ANOTHER courtesy of Round Table Pizza. Enter Jersey Mike's - It didn't take much coaxing before The Guys in Charge decided to switch it up a bit and ordered sandwiches in place of RT. Now, whenever we're surprised with Jersey Mike's it's smiles abound! (ha) But really, they hook it up and this is really how a sammich should be eaten. FRESH deli meats and cheeses (sliced right before your eyes!) piled thick with lettuce & tomato. The H.G.I.C. usually order a variety of turkey, roast beef, American Classic, and the Super. Honestly, I'm not sure what the big deal is with Jersey Mike's. I would say that it's a step up from Subway, but not much, so if you don't like Subway, you may not be a big fan of Jersey Mike's. Came here for lunch today, and it was packed. Good sign. I guess it was the late lunch crew because it was after 1pm, and the line was still pretty long. I would say this. It doesn't have as many choices as Subway, but the quality/freshness is better since they are slicing up the meats and cheeses in a made-to-order fashion in front of you. That does keep the ingredients fresher. I ordered the "Famous" Roast Beef and Provolone, but I decided to go light on the carbs and got it in a spinach tortilla wrap. A couple of pluses to note: They did offer a few different tortilla options such as wheat, regular, and sun-dried tomato, which was nice. Also, they do allow you to convert any of their subs (hot subs, too?) into wraps. I ended up getting lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, pepperoncinis, and a side of their hot cherry pepper relish. So, the roast beef is advertised as being cooked on the premises and only from USDA Certified Angus choice top rounds. That does sound like it would be good, but I found it to be very ordinary. Overall, I thought the wrap was very dry, and not much better than what I would have expected at Subway. Definitely not "the best there is!" as stated on the menu. However, I'm willing to give them another shot, as it seem as if so many people are raving about this place. Maybe it was my wrap selection? Maybe the Famous roast beef is not made to be converted into the wrap? Maybe Mike's is all about the bread? If that's the case, I screwed this all up. Bottom line: 2.5 stars! After my first visit, I don't think Jersey Mike's matches the hype. read more

VERY GOOD!!!! I lagged on trying Jersey Mikes because my family had it and didn't like so that didn't put fire under my ass to try them. BUT, one day, I was handling some business at Chase and I was hungry but didn't know what I wanted. I really hate that feeling since I usually always crave SOMETHING!!!!!!! As soon as I walked out of Chase I looked over to the left and said to myself, you know I never tried Jersey mikes so lets try today, no love loss either way LOL. So I walk in and I was greeted immediately. All male staff at the time I came in and all of them were nice and like the United nations, I like that. So I told them off the bat, I never been to a Jersey mikes before. He asked if I wanted anything in particular. I told him I usually order turkey sammies. I noticed they had tuna, so I asked is their tuna smooth or crunchy and it's crunchy BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I like my tuna like Subway or Beach hut's, nice and smooooooooth. So I went with the California club made the Mikes way! This is a turkey sammie with lettuce, tomato, provolone ,bacon and avocado. Since I'm a lover and a fiend for mustard and mayo, I had them add that. Mikes way is oil and vinegar, salt and pepper with onions. The small size sandwich is actually plenty for your healthy appetite. Those other sizes are HUGE! Enough to share between two people if you're ballin on a budget. Anywho took my sammie to go and got home and ripped that sucker open. The sandwich looked great. I took my first bite and I was VERY happy!!!! As much as I love avocado, I usually don't get them on sandwiches because the avocado always overpowers the sandwich, to me at least. But this sandwich had so many flavors, every ingredient shined on its own. I was only able to eat half of the small!!!! But an hour later my greedy ass ate the other ahahahahaah. It was just to good to save for the next day LOL. Part of me wants to try other sandwiches but the other part of me is addicted to that California club!!!!
