So I haven't had Jersey Mike's for over 12 years since I moved here to Cali. We had them in Ohio and it was good but I'm not a big sandwich fan. But thanks for my birthday freebie, I came to get my free sub and drink. I got the Big Kauna which was nice they let me do less onions and more mushrooms. However, I wish they would have told me I could have gotten it as a salad since I am trying to watch my carb. My friend told me about just the bowl, a few days later, so I know for next time. They also didn't let me add any lettuce or tomato or any additional toppings. I think they were suppose to? Not sure since it was my first time. I did enjoy my sandwich so thank you. SYOY! read more

My coworker was raving about "some sandwich place" for the last few weeks and today she asked if we wanted to go get some delicious sandwiches with her. At first I was reluctant, but the girls convinced me!! When we arrived at the location off of von karman and barranca I was surprised that I had not been here before. The place was pretty packed!! My coworkers ordered a regular california club, a mini california club and a mini tuna. I also ordered the california club because it was currently their featured sub, so I figure it better be good!! I got my california club on white with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, oil&vinegar and salt&pepper. This sandwich is a little pricier than your typical subways but you can tell that their quality is very high. Everything is fresh and they make it right in front of you. I even like how the paper bags they put your sandwiches in are biodegradable. I found my choice to be pretty tasty. The bread was not too dry and there were generous amounts of meats and cheese between the bun. I must warn you, however, that the buns are detached from each other unlike other sandwich places so eating this may get a bit messier than usual. It was also conveniently cut in half, so I enjoyed half at lunch and half after work :) I will most likely be back here with my coworkers soon!! read more

We order from the faunce corner Jersey Mikes every week- today we had a big order and I was very clear on the specifics. The person (female) who took my order even repeated it back to me exactly how I ordered it. When I got it home there was a huge mistake- I ordered ham and cheese with NOTHING ON IT-no toppings at all- it came mikes way and the young boys who ordered it would not touch it. When I called and explained the problem, the girl actually argued with me and told me I ordered it wrong. She was actually laughing at me and implied it was my problem. She was incredibly rude, and shouldn't be working with the public-- it was a huge struggle to get her to accommodate me- I even brought back the sandwich made in error to get a new one. Fortunately, the manager was more supportive and gave us some coupons for future sandwiches. But this girl- whoever she is- made my blood boil- she should be out the door . Horrible experience. Our local JM location and we love it! I moved to this area last year and Jersey Mike's was one of the things we ate a lot when we first moved into our house since we did not have any appliances! It was our go to and so convenient! Not to mention the staff has been solid! They are nice and never have an attitude. Not your typical college/HS kids working here either! They greet you every time and make your sandwich efficiently and to your liking! I've never had a bad sandwich here! I really enjoy coming to this location. The fact that they are open until 9PM during this pandemic is amazing, since most places close very early. Everyone has a great attitude that works here, I have no complaints! It is nice but they pile too many lettuce to make the sandwich look big, which is unnecessary unless you are are lettuce lover. They don't toast their bread or melt the cheese if you ask. Finally, their prices are too high! Especially if you include the tip! In this economy, they need to bring them down. I know subway's sandwiches are not as good as their's, but Quiznos' was. Keeping everything in mind, I only wish Quiznos will reopen many of their locations and only charge around subway's prices like they used to. This week's birthday freebies just get better and better. This place is pretty small so not ideal for large groups but if you're just wanting to get up and out of the office. It's perfect. Although I didn't stay and instead placed an order, there was plenty of seating for single or small parties. These guys were friendly when I walked in all the way till I exited the establishment. I went in for my free birthday regular sub and drink. I got the number 17 which was the Jersey Mikes Famous Philly. I added extra cheese to make it even more gooey. Oh I am glad I did. Every bite was oozing with cheese and meat and peppers. I asked myself why don't I come here often??? The regular sub was the perfect size for me. I didn't have chips and only had a drink. I was barely able to finish the entire sub so if you're not starving it's the perfect meal. I just want to thank this team today for making my birthday lunch even better! read more

I understand inflation means cost went up, that don't mean you skimp on quality. Adjust your price instead of lowering sandwich standards. The amount of meat provided by this shop is less than other locations, then move onto Mike's way... Lettuce was barely 2 handful spread over giant size sandwich, other places I get at least 3 handful. Tomato was only 5 small slices with big gap in between, other places made sure you get tomato in each bite. Then again skimp on spices, vinegar and oil??? The food was good. Service was TERRIBLE. We came in 30 minutes before the closing time, but there were still a few customers coming after us. There were two employees, the guy with a mustache and brown hair was VERY NICE with us. The other one was a skinny dude who was SUPER RUDE. I don't know if it is because we are Asian or something but he ordered us with an attitude. This is my first time here, I have always wanted to try this place for a long time, and now we have the opportunity to try it. It took us about 10 minutes to decide what we wanted to order, and he just like "You want to order?"," What do you want?", and" Anything else?" keep in mind, he ordered me like I was the one who took all the money from him. His tone was very angry, also, when he made the sandwich, he slammed the cabinet, making a loud sound, just like he made sure I knew he was angry. I thought it was only me thinking too much, but when another customer came in (she was not Asian) to pick up their orders, his response was very soft and nice " Have a good night ". Us? Not a single reply except " Here you go" when he handed us the sandwich. I was going to give a generous tip separately to the guy with the mustache because he was nice to us but can't help thinking that they were going to share the tip. So I just tip off the card suggestion. I like the food but maybe I will try at a different location. I feel terrible that the guy with the mustache has to get involved in this. I walk in say hi. The manager Kevin has his head down. Doesn't talk to me. I said hello three times and he just kept his head down. I thought maybe he had earpieces and or something so I asked the guy next to him. Can he hear me and he said what's wrong with you. I told the guy what I wanted extra cheese and he didn't respond again I said what's wrong with you and he just said you know what get out. I said you don't talk to your customers and then when you do you talk to him like that he's like get out then he called me a name that I only going to reveal to the owner and I have a witness that was there another worker named John was standing right there. I could tell that he felt horrible. What he was witnessing. He was very nice to me. Jon was but the manager, Kevin is danger to society. Being from Nu Joisey any time attending an east coast restaurant that has any kind of "original" food... well, let's just say they know that I'll know if it really is. The guy who made my sandwich was transported to the original location of the first shop. They now have a network training center there. Long story short, it was a really good sandwich well-made and the restaurant does have a map of jersey on the wall and tasty cakes next to the chips. This is a good place to get a jersey style sandwich. It's fresh it's fast and it's good. Well recommended, I will return. read more

I never post reviews on here but to the folks comparing Jersey Mike's in any way shape or form to Subway, I just have to say that you have to be kidding! Subway can't hold a candle to the sandwiches at Jersey Mike's. There is no comparison. Subway is sandwich wallpaper compared to Jersey Mike's. The number 7 Mike's way is fantastic! read more

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of the price, but really is a great sandwich. I would recommend Mike's way every time. If you put your phone number eventually you will get a free sandwich and that kind of makes up for the prices. read more

Consistently get orders wrong. If you order online, add 10-15 min to stated order availability. When orders are incorrectly made, there is no urgency to fix the issue or communication of what is going on. Might help if someone in charge actually took the reigns when there is an issue. read more

Seems very lazy and inconsiderate to their customers, also guy slicing all the meats and cheeses never once changed gloves between switching between differ meats and cheese. I've always had fond memories of the "east coast" style Italian subs. Partly because finding capicola, prosciutto, salami and pepperoni, the staples of the Original Italian were hard to come by out here, also if it was found it was expensive. Jersey Mike's brings size into the mix with large sandwiches and options. Unlike JJ's which is good and dense. The bread here is better and the sandwiches by the $ here more filling. I was also pleasantly surprised by how friendly the staff is, it's refreshing. Even more so than JJ which seems more robotic and Cappriotti's. There is a reason they've franchised national. It's Mike's way or the highway. I'm not a big fan of their red wine vinegar or the oregano only seasoning, but in combination it really rounds out anything in the buns. They have a darn good philly cheese steak and it's partially because their cheese to meat ratio is about 1 to 1, not just a few slices melted on top, but lots of cheese. Yes they slice everything fresh and no they don't have crazy options like alfalfa. I actually like their tomatoes. Their roast beef is pretty good as is their turkey, never tried their tuna, but I hear good things. Meatball is ok, chicken parm is good, but gets messy, just solid dressings all around (honey mustard, ranch, 1000 island, bleu cheese). Bacon Ranch chicken cheesesteak is so good, haven't found that combo elsewhere. The sub in a tub is a cool notion, better than Chipotle's in a bowl idea imo. Solid chips selection (large sized kettle lays, hell yeah). Parking sucks, ordering ahead is weird, especially when busy. They move quickly. Service is just fast and they really do treat people like regulars and even offer some off the wall ideas to those who are game. It's a place I go to regularly and enjoy a lot. Décor is standard, it's clean, but the parking really sucks, they have like 4 dedicated spots and because the layout of the shared parking is atrocious I guarantee some people steer clear which is a shame. We like coming here for the Big Kahuna cheesesteak sandwich. They are filling, meaty and cheesy. My wife and I split the Giant, and it's pretty filling. It has the right amount of jalapenos, just enough heat. It's a quality sandwich, but it's $15+ so I've heard some people complain about the price. For us, it's good enough for us to not think about the cost. It's in the same plaza as Walmart, but they're at opposite ends of the parking lot, so there's no problem with parking. It seems like they have way too many guys working here, but they always seem respectful and friendly. It's fairly clean inside, but we always get it to go. At least once a month, my wife and I would look at each other and one of us would say, "Big Kahuna"? ...and off we go, especially when there's a Rams or Angels game on. read more

I always get "Mike's Supreme" done Mike's Way! What does this mean? Roast beef, turkey, bacon, swiss, and mayo topped with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil and spices. Grand Opening today and I was super excited to try this place, especially since they slice the meat for your sandwich right in front of you. It's really like eating a sandwich straight from a deli. The Regular size sandwich is about 9 inches long and is quite a meal. The people working there are super friendly and chat it up while they work. WHAT WE ORDERED: - The Original Italian (mini $6.25 | reg $8.25 | giant $11.95): This is the ultimate Italian cold cuts sandwich. It has Provolone, ham, proscuittini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni. The meats are really fresh and tender. Kind of reminds me of eating a sandwich at Mattern Deli in Orange. Having the sandwich "Mikes Way", see below, made the sandwich really flavorful and tangy. I also added banana peppers. - The Club Supreme (mini $6.25 | reg $8.25 | giant $11.95): Roast beef, turkey, crispy thick bacon, and I opted for provolone instead of swiss cheese. It's nice that the bacon is actually crispy and thick-cut... not like the "bacon paper" kinda stuff you find at most fast food joints. I got mine with all the veggies and mayo n mustard. The turkey really stands out as tender, but the roast beef can be a little dry, but very beefy nonetheless. (The cold subs include an option to have it "Mike's Way", which is with raw onion, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil blend and spices) - Chipotle Cheese Steak (reg $7.95 | giant $10.95): Comes with provolone, grilled onions, peppers and chipotle mayo. Nice and cheesy. The chipotle doesn't stand out too much, but does add some flavor to the sandwich. My friend said it was the best philly he ever had and said it was better than Philly's Best. Also, this comes with White American cheese, so if you want Provolone, you have to request it. - Meatball & Cheese (reg $7.95 | giant $10.95): WHOAAAA... they use freakin huge ass meatballs. Just about the size of your fist, but they cut them in half to stay in the bread. But even cutting it in half doesn't keep these tasty monstrous balls inside the sandwich. The tomato sauce, parmesan and especially the gooey provolone cheese really complete this delicious Italian meal-in-a-bun. They also have a low-carb option to have the sandwich filling in a tub. I like'em, I think I like'em a lot. A lot more than I thought I would. I have been back a couple times in one week so that has to says something, right? Lunch time is super crazy and there isn't a lot of seating so be prepared, but the sandwiches are good. I like the thin meats, fresh breads and especially "Mike's Way." ;) No mayo so it makes me feel less guilty about eating a sandwich with salami on it. :P They are way better than Subway or Quizno's but kind of reminds me of Blimpies. I ordered #13 just to find out it was ranked as tops by the Travel Channel. I take most of it with a grain of salt unless it's Anthony Bourdain! ;) In any case, I thought it was a good sandwich but I can't say it was the best. It's funny that Travel Channel claims it's the best in the country but I have a hard time saying it's the best within a 2-mile radius! ;) Regardless, it is a good sandwich... I'm not sure it's worth the entire $8 nor the 20 min+ wait that I had to deal with. Sometimes marketing really works and I think this is the case here. And I'll give it to them- the people working there are easy going and knowledgeable but that goes along with the marketing strategy. I'll have no problem going back but I think I'll focus on supporting some of the local sandwich shops that I have a bit of an edge in taste! read more

I got it done Mike's way which included lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, oil, vinegar, and salt & pepper. I really enjoyed mike's way, never would've thought of adding vinegar to my sandwiches but I loved it on my lettuce. I see a lot of complaints in other yelp reviews about too much vinegar in the sandwiches but I didn't think that my sandwich was doused in vinegar and if you really don't like it, you can ask them to omit something. You don't have to have your sandwich Mike's way and since they make it right in front of you, you can always tell them what you want. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are awesome since they slice up the meats and cheese right in front of you. Even the bread is better than what you get at Subway although there are less choices. I enjoyed my sandwich and love that they cut it in half for you automatically and place it in a biodegradable paper bag, so it's easy to save half if you so desire. I always love a good sandwich, especially an Italian sandwich. There's something about all those different cuts of dry-aged, thinly-sliced meats that has me all up in a frenzy and quivering with anticipation. Combined with bread, cheese, lettuce, and whatever else, there's nothing more satisfying to fill your appetite. Just a need an icy, cold beer to wash it all down. So I made it a point to try Jersey Mike's. I never tried it, but saw it on TV about how it's big in the east coast like Jersey, so I was intrigued. This location is somewhat tucked away at the corner of a plaza with that rundown food court on Von Karman. It's also just around the corner from the Tustin District. I walked in and with 2 people in front of me, I thought it was going to be quick. In and out in no time, I thought. But it wasn't the case. With the freshly sliced meats, it definitely takes more time vs the prepackaged meats from the other more omnipresent sub places. I ordered the Original Italian, Mike's Way. You might want to take it easy on the red wine vinegar and olive oil. They REALLY pour it on. After forking over almost $9 for my regular sized portion sub, it was time to dig in. I liked the freshness of the bread and meats, and I just about devoured the entire thing in just a few minutes. That vinegar and oil soaks through to give it that distinct tart "punch" at the end of every bite. It was a tasty sandwich, no doubt. Of course, there's a "but..." I just didn't think it was all that different from a Subway, especially one for $5. Jersey Mike's definitely has the edge in fresh ingredients and freshly sliced meats, but was it worth an extra $4? I'm not so sure. Prices are a bit steep. It's not a sandwich I'm craving, but I'm curious to try their other signature sandwiches like the roast beef and provolone. I visited Jersey Mike's for my free regular birthday sub! I got a hot philly cheesesteak with everything on it and wheat bread. There was a HUGE amount meat in my sandwich and it was delicious. Sauce and cheese really made it so much better and it was on incredibly toasty bread. The person making my sandwich also seemed really genuine and struck up a conversation with me. It was really nice coming in! I am definitely coming back here. It's a small place but I really enjoyed my time here! Can't wait to come back. read more

They have a smooth operation running here! The service is fantastic. They are like a well oiled machine. They do a great job of getting orders ahead of time when people are waiting in line they will have their sandwich ready ahead of time. I ordered their classic italian sandwich. They meat and cheeses are super fresh and the toppings are cut that day. I enjoyed the italian sandwich with the classic staples - tomatoes, lettuce and peppers. They have TVs inside, so if you are eating lunch by yourself, you will be entertained. However, a word of caution. Love these subs! Started by Mike at a New Jersey shop in the 50's serving cold & hot sandwiches with freshly sliced meats & cheeses as you order...they really are a sub above...lol. Mike's Way is always a YES for me when they ask. It's their own special blend of red wine vinegar & olive oil with a dash of spices that they splash on at the end...but they always ask first. There's regular, large & a mini options. You start with your bread choice...all baked daily in store. My favorite being the Rosemary Parm...subtle yet flavorful. Oh and they do have a gluten free option. The Club Sub is a classic with ham & turkey along with applewood smoked bacon. Avocado is a great addition to this...it is extra...but worth it. Once finished, they cut your sub in half, which makes it so much easier to eat & enjoy without it falling apart:P Today I used my FREE regular sub with free 22 oz drink coupon that I get every year for my birthday. Best part is that you have the whole year to redeem. You'll also get coupon deals emailed to you periodically throughout the year too. Order in, or through the app for pick up, or delivery.
