Just ordered a few sandwiches from this location and while the sandwiches were decent the young man who made them sucked. No customer service skills, No greeting, No smile, No enthusiasm to work for the job im guessing he applied for at ALL!!! My husband tried to spark a friendly conversation with him but not even a glimpse of a smile or sense of humor existed. We ate there and that service was consistent with all other customers who walked in. Just my opinion but if you have good food the experience only becomes better if you present superior customer service skills even in a sandwich shop. read more

Good sandwich, jipped on bacon. Went yesterday for one of their subs, my base sandwich didn't come with bacon, asked for bacon as an add on and they only put 1 strip. I asked for them to put a second strip because I know they are charging me more anyways, so HOOK IT UP!! They ended up 2x charging me for it. I could have just went to the grocery and got a pack of bacon for close to the same add on cost. 2 stars for the taste of the food. -3 stars for their lame ass bacon policy. read more

Disappointed this time! - BIG TIME! I ordered a pastrami sandwich with pastrami and cheese only, got home to notice they added thousand island dressing to my sandwich, I went back explained what happened and made sure I told them again that all I wanted on my sandwich is pastrami and cheese ONLY, got home to find out they added sauerkraut-what?! Glad they opened one up in La Mirada. What I like about this place is that everything is fresh, they slice the deli meat and cheese and their bread is baked daily. I enjoy eating it mike's way, onion, lettuce, tomatoe, oil, vinegar, and seasoning. I would definitely give this place a try and judge for yourself read more

This place is my new sub place. First off seems like most of the workers are high school students but they are super friendly! Next off the subs are amazing have it mikes way! Their oil and vinegar mix is way better than subways and makes you crave for more cold subs ! Their warm chipotle cheesesteak is also delish! This JM location is much better than the one in Buena Park. The workers are much friendlier and the sandwiches (for some reason) taste much better. Plus this is the only JM I've been to in the last few months that still carries Krimpets, which bring childhood memories of summers in the Jersey Shore for me. They don't carry Coca Cola products, but they are right next to a Walmart Neighborhood Market, where you can get any type of drink you want. read more

I love Jersey Mike's. Thank God for this sandwich alternative to the other sub place. However, this location has some rude employees. The girl helping looked like i was bothering her in taking my order. I know it may be too much for a smile but she was unhappy. She cut my sandwich bread all weird and so I ask for the other half and she told me its too late she already put cheese on it. So i didn't want to argue seeing how unhappy she is. I was there 6-10-19 at 7:00 pm. What a unpleasant able, depressing experience. The employees working were two females and one male. The female with brown hair provided the worst service ever. All seemed bummed to be working and I received terrible, dry service where I felt like it was bother to be there. No one smiled and it was depressing! Great sandwiches but the service is horrible. You need some adults working at this location. Just ordered 4 meatball sandwiches to go. I told the girls as I grabbed the bag these sandwiches don't feel hot at all ? They said oh well that's how we serve them want us to stick in the microwave again ? I said no then my bread will get all soggy. Can you make them over and heat the meatballs in the microwave before you make them ? They said no so I said if they are cold when I get home I guess I will complain then.$ 40.00 for 4 meatball sandwiches I do expect them to be hot. Got home and sure enough sandwiches were barely room temperature. Good taste but not even close to hot sandwich. Its making me wonder if the meatballs are even safe to eat ? My first time at this location ummmm.. they are so over priced, any were in town you can find a bottle drink for no more than 1.70 they charged me 2.69 for a bottle drink and 2.49 for a bottle water. I didnt know i was at disneyland. Theres no value! read more

This is a wonderful place if your craving an AUTHENTIC, great tasting, FRESH deli sandwhich. Its as good as it gets. I agree that the prices are a lil on the steep side. However, if ur at all passionate about REAL DELI, like i am...not imitation deli like subway or quiznoz...but fresh ingredients, soft bread....the quality cant be beat! & also like me....you wont mind paying the extra money. Staffs nice, but a lil high strung, probably due to the high volume of customers...this place is ALWAYS busy. Today I went to the store and expected good service as usual only to be disappointed at the service given. First the guy was rushing me the entire time I was looking at the menu to see what I wanted, which was only about 10 minutes and no one else was there. He kept asking "Do you know what you want" at least 3 times, with out once saying take your time or let me know when you're ready. After taking my order, his coworker was getting ready to help him make my food and asked him what kind of tortilla we wanted for the wrap. I heard him tell him "I don't know, I didn't ask." He did not ask me, I had to ask him what they were speaking of. That was when he told me that there was an option of wheat or spinach for the wrap. We choose spinach. Then another coworker was speaking to him about the bread for another sandwich saying that there was going to be a wait and so then he says "oh are you willing to wait because it is in the oven"? I said sure no problem. Then I heard the girl ask him if he told me how long it would be, he tells her no, but he said he would wait so what ever. So I asked well how long is the wait for the bread, he girl tells me that it would be a 20 minute wait. If he would of told me that I would of said no. And I did and changed the bread for my sandwich. When I went to pay for my food, he seemed to fumble around with the register and was unsure as to what I had ordered. After paying for my food, he did not even give me my receipt, he crumbled it up and threw it away. We had to ask for it and he gave us someone else's receipt that wasn't even paid for. He apparently does not know how to reprint and dug through the trash and pulled the crumbled up receipt and attempted to smooth it out before handing it over to us. I thought that would be the end of it and just go home to enjoy our food. Unfortunately, we get home and as we are sitting there getting ready to eat, it was noticed that the wrap was made with the wheat tortilla when after having to initiate and tell them we wanted spinach tortilla for our wrap. This visit today has been a horrible one and to top it off, our food was done incorrectly. I rather stick with Subway and Which Wich. At least their employees know what they are doing and will not rush me, will fully inform me if there is an issue on their end or if there is an option that I am not aware of. read more

I ordered the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak. I thought it was okay. Service was quick and efficient. My only problem was that the sandwich was extremely high in sodium. I'll be the first to review this location. What others have said from other locations is true with this place. They are "assembling" the food to spec to be consistent to what the chain specifies. Ingredients are fresh and tasty. Sandwiches are made carefully where the meats are layered. If you perceive that this is important, you would be OK w/ the higher prices. If you like your sandwich soggy w/ vinegar and oil, that's what the "Mikes Way" is. I prefer to ease off that or go with mayo. The staff is still pretty new and not the fastest so they need to iron out some things but hopefully they'll improve. read more
