Went there yesterday and it took forever to get my sandwich. When I came in there were a lot of people waiting on there orders and becoming pissed off. The main slicer, a tall skinny guy with blonde hair was going slowly only doing one sandwich at a time. After I placed my order I talked to another customer who was waiting 15-20 minutes on her sub (even though it wasn't busy) Apparently there was another slicer. However, the girl sprinkling the sandwiches was trying to do multiple sandwiches at a time so people could get their orders. Got a regular Hot Pastrami Sub today; comes with Swiss Cheese, Sauerkraut, & Thousand Island Dressing. I had them add their shredded lettuce & tomatoes. Great tasting sandwich; just a bit pricey at $9.95. But I used a $2 off coupon I got in a Val-Pak mailer recently. I was waiting for this $2 off coupon to go there as I needed 6 more points to reach the 72 points level for a free regular sub on my next visit. Finally! I still like this place; great service, sandwiches taste great; especially the cold subs done Mike's way w/all of the fixings, but I don't go there too often as the sandwiches are a bit pricey. We went to the Jersey Mike's in Mililani for two giant sandwiches. One of got the number 9 and the other was the number 13, both on whole wheat bread. As before, we found the subs delicious and they make great leftovers. The meats were freshly sliced and all of the vegetables were also very fresh and they combined to make the best sandwiches. Today September, 8 so I walked into order food so the lady asked the guy to open the bathroom so he had a keypad that he had to put the numbers. He walks back and start making the people ahead of me their sandwiches and I went to order and I told the girl can you tell him to change his gloves she went secretly to tell him change his glove. Then when I went to pay, she told him. Oh yeah, it's her so he took off his glove washed his hands, but that's common sense. You should take off your glove and not make peoples sandwich with dirty gloves. The food there was great. Great service because they gave us free chips and a drink because we showed them the coupon book for town center.

So we ordered Salad bowls... when I checked my order there weren't any napkins or forks. I asked the kid working behind the counter for a few napkins, and two forks, to which he replied "sorry we're out of forks." I asked "how am I going to eat salads without a fork?" He says "I don't know". Common sense dictates that if you're preparing salads for people and you are out of forks, the management takes petty cash and runs over to the supermarket and buys a few boxes of them to be able to dispense to customers so they don't have to eat salads with their fingers. It's a bit ridiculous to not have utensils at all for people to eat with. read more

Yee Hoo got my free birthday sub and drink today. Ordered my regular which is the number two Jersey Shore's Favorite. Although they had a friendly attitude the crew was over zealous. Watching them putting the sandwiches together was like a kitchen show challenge with the time ticking down. Ingredients falling off the bun and being restacked. Let me start with I NEVER write reviews, nor complain. I simply just don't say anything and don't go back. But raw chicken is where I lost it. I ingested half of my sandwich before I noticed the chicken was RAW :( mind you, my boyfriend had the exact same sandwich as me, but mine had sauce on it. Chances that they cooked both of our chickens all together, highly likely. He said he had a bite that seemed off, but ate it anyway. Luckily I looked at mine! I called them to let them know to please be more cautious. They were sorry, and asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, especially for some sort of compensation. I declined because I couldn't find it in me to ask for the money back knowing we ate almost everything and im not even sick. Never been there before and I was craving a good deli sandwich. My expectations were definitely surpassed! I got the club sub with ham, turkey and bacon. The workers were super nice and upbeat. The one who made my sandwich asked me if I wanted it "Mike's Way." I wasn't sure what he meant but he quickly explained it and showed me everything that goes on it. Wow! That took the sandwich to a whole new level. I added banana peppers and it was the perfect mix of vinegar, Italian spices, veggies, cold cuts and bacon. The bun was nice and crusty. Never soggy and I carried it around while getting other take out food and drove home to eat it. I will definitely be back. One of the worst tasting sandwiches ever! I can't believe I paid $10 for this nonsense and just don't know what I just ate. I had to put food in my system or I'll faint type of deal but every bite and chew had me wondering wtf I was eating. I ate this sandwich for sustenance at that very moment. I had the turkey and provolone. Im not sure of the girl working didn't put any dressing or at least Mayo and mustard but damn it was the most blandest sandwich. Thank God at least the bread was good but I just tasted every ingredient in its purest form with the saltiness coming from the provolone and turkey and of course she didn't forget the oil and vinegar and remembered to drown the sandwich in. I so wanted to give this place 4 or 5 Stars! But I'm giving 3 Stars mostly due to cleanliness.... I've eaten here many times and always enjoy the #42 which is the Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak. It's a hot sub with melted cheese (provolone, I believe) as well as grilled onions and grilled green peppers. I've actually gotten to like this place as much as, if not more than, Subway. Today, however, I noticed something. You'll see in the pictures I've included. The cashier, with his gloves on, was touching the very dirty, fingerprint-ridden, touchscreen cashier monitor. The customer paid with a card, so the cashier did not touch cash from what I seen which was just a few minutes while waiting for my order. However, if the customer did pay with cash, I'm thinking the cashier would've taken the money and continue on as he did...which I noticed he did not change his gloves and touched the food after touchIng that dirty monitor which a lot of the works have touched while handling money. Very disappointing. I notice at Subway they consistently change their gloves. In any case, I think it's because a lot of the workers here at this Jersey Mike's location seem to be young (high school?) I hope management will teach the employees about being sanitary. Jersey Mike's Sub is located in the old Subway location at the Town Center of Mililani. It's a short distance to the parking lot as well. I stepped foot into Jersey Mike's Sub for the first time back in November. I noticed all the tables and chairs located to the right side of the entrance. Towards the left side of the entrance was the order line and the fountain machine. I stood in line and noticed the menu board hanging from the ceiling. I looked over the menu board and decided to order the Club Sub sandwich from the cold sub menu. One of the employees took my order. Another employee used the meat slicer to cut the meats real thin. Another employee combined all the vegetables and cheese for the sub club. Another employee added the seasonings. The last employee rang me up at the register and asked if I wanted to have a combo that comes with a bag of chips and a fountain drink. The employee also asked if I wanted to join their rewards program. I declined on the rewards program. I added the bag of chips and a drink to go with my sandwich. I paid for my sandwich using my credit card. I opted to eat my sandwich in the shop. The Club Sub was okay. The bread was a bit on the hard side. I may have to head back to Mililani and try a sandwich from the hot sub menu. 1/100 read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! I see some people complaining below about the price, but I would GLADLY pay for these sandwiches as they are 100% better than any Subway sandwich. I will never choose Subway sub over Jersey Mike's. Price =quality. Their sandwiches are stuffed full of meat and fixings. You can't beat a great Sub. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but have lived in Hawaii for 20 years. The only thing I miss about PA is the cheese steak subs and let me tell you, Jersey Mike's has the best Philly Cheese steak I've have had in Hawaii in 20 years! The staff is always friendly and always greets me as soon as I walk in the door. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good, meaty, fresh sub. I was too lazy and too late to pick up some yummy food from Tanioka's express so I figured I try this shop that newly opened in Mililani Town Center. I have never heard of Jersey Mike's subs even though I have been to the mainland many times for travel and for work but I heard that they are a famous chain store in the East Coast. First off when I entered the store it was well lit but the menu on the board was a little hard to see so I had to move closer to see what I wanted. I also had to figure out where to order because there was signs but there were people wondering the whole are between where you order and where you pay. When I could actually see the menu I thought I needed new glasses because the prices were pretty high. The regular subs were way more expensive then a subway foot long sub. The large subs were 3 times as much as a subway foot long. But price aside, I watched the girl in the front freshly cut a bunch of deli meats with a deli slicer and she was generous with the meat amount which made me happy and excited. I also peeked over the counter to watch the guys cooking the Philly cheesesteaks on the grill and it looked nice too. So I decided to get a regular Philly cheesesteak number 17 with extra bacon which was a $1.75 and also ordered extra onions. I waited about 10 minutes before I was handed a small tightly rolled sandwich in a skinny long bag. I was little worried at this point because I was thinking I would still be hungry after eating it. After going home and unwrapping my sandwich, I was pretty amazed that the sandwich looked really yummy and reminded me of the real Philly cheesesteak I had eaten from Philly. At first, I didn't see the bacon but after searching I found it in there. I took a bite and it was good. It was meaty and cheesy and well seasoned. They got the order right and I was full after eating it so I was glad I didn't get the large one. Verdict: I think the sandwich was pretty good and tasty but I think that the price point is little too expensive to keep people coming here. I like the fact that they have a points program that saves money when multiple visits. The service was good once served but I had to wait about 10 minutes in front of the counter before someone even noticed me. Ok. I know I probably came in at a bad time and I guess someone ordered a lot of sandwiches for a group or something... There didn't seem to be an organized system in place, just 5 employees just trying to complete such a big order. For those of us in line, we were not acknowledged until the register was clear for me to finally order. I was standing under the "Place your order here" and was never acknowledged. Having ordered, I also noticed that nearly all those that ordered after me got their orders and had already left. I was gonna actually give 2 stars, but I decided on 3. They seemed like a very young crew and I know that they were somewhat being productive with a large order. I know that with today's technology, most don't need to really walk into a shop and place an order, I'm old school. I worked retail and I would most times ignore the phone calls to the store if I have a customer in front of me who took the time to physically be there, that's just me! However, it's not just here. Mililani BBQ was closed for kitchen work so decided to try this joint out since I havnt been there yet and sadly I kind of wish I went somewhere else. 1st i walked into the place and went by the register where I could read the menu then I stood there waiting to be helped, all while the 3 other employees at the end were all talking story and the guy infront of me was just looking down at whatever he was looking at. Placed my order for my 1st sandwich he asked what kine of bread then i placed my order for my 2nd sandwhich. As he started walking away he stated he'll get that started for me. I had to stop him and ask if I can chose the bread for the 2nd sandwich. Then he said oh yes so I told him what bread I wanted. He turned around and said you can pay and we'll call you. Okay that was fine but as I walked back to the register to pay now with the girl I asked her if I stand here to tell them what veggies I wanted on my sandwhich she turns around and tells me no he was supposed to ask you when he took your order. Well he obviously didn't so she added it to the paper he gave me and walked it back to him...hmmm real humbug so far. She comes back I pay and wait on the side. The Pastrami Reuben had big hard pieces I couldn't eat and was more sauerkraut side order pastrami. All I tasted was sauerkraut no meat or lettuce. The Famous Philly was bland and the bread was soggy. The other thing is the girl didn't even inform me that avocado that looks like guac is $2.15 extra charge. I saw it after I paid and got my sandwiches. I don't normally give bad reviews but sorry to say this review is based on the rude and bad service i got along with poor communication. Checked out the new Jersey Mike's Subs in Mililani. The Jersey Mike's Subs location is the second on Oahu, and took over the former Subway and jewelry store space at Town Center of Mililani. Definitely a more premium sub, meats freshly sliced, and frankly dripping with flavor. (Only my wife partook, but I had a bite and it was delicious and messy.) Prices are about what I expected... not cheap, but not outlandish. I do want to try the Philly Cheesesteak. The spot was surprisingly not too busy for its second night open. Hope it fares reasonably well, but like Five Guys around the corner, I get the sense this spot might get its most loyal customers from nearby military bases. read more

Jersey Mikes is NOT the same as Subway! Jersey Mike's Subs has over 1300 shops worldwide, and a large selection of cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and wraps but every single sandwich is made to order! The cold cuts are sliced per order! The meats and veggies for the hot sandwiches are grilled per order! This freshness creates pure happiness and explosions of flavors in your mouth!!! My only gripe is the bread. Sadly their bread isn't much different than Subway. I want real hardy deli bread. This is not a reflection of the Mililani location as the staff was friendly, helpful and made the long line go quickly. So if you're tired of your PB&J and Subway, run to Jersey Mike's!
