Very frustrating to walk in and not get greeted by any of the employees. They work like they hate their jobs. Not friendly at all. I frequent at this location often and the last two times have been very disappointing. I work in the hospitality industry and understand it can be stressful and tough but don't show that and more so don't let that take over the way you interact and present your food. The sandwiches sold at this spot are so good. I went here for the first time, and since then I have gone here mainly because I like their sandwiches to the point that they are satisfying and can satisfy my cravings for sandwiches. Their menu is huge and has a variety of options, and it is really nice. I got to choose any sandwich I liked, and I also had a chance to taste some other unique sandwiches that are available on their menu. The prices, on the other hand, are fair and reasonable. I would say that the prices are just about worth it considering the taste and quality of the sandwiches. The place is also clean and has a pleasant interior, which is another reason why it feels good going in here. It is a small spot, but the atmosphere and vibe are great. The staff are also friendly and accommodating. The service is also fast and at the same time, they gave accurate orders and they also accepted my orders when I wanted to, like, not include something sort of. The food is good at this location. The customer service isn't very good at this location. I went online and bought my wrap, online it says skip the line and go straight to the register. Well this was a lie, people actually walked in after I walked in and had their sub prepared and checked out faster than I did. The guys working behind the register paid no attention to this. I know subs. AND I grew up in NJ. As a matter of fact, these sandwiches are called "hoagies" in that area-not subs. Whatever. And while Jersey Mike's subs are OK, they aren't nearly as good as the sandwiches that I get back at the Jersey Shore hoagie/cheese steak shops. Anyway, I've been to a bunch of Jersey Mike's shops in the area (seems that they're opening up all over the place now) and I seem to have the same issue every time I go, regardless which Jersey Mike's I go to-the roll is dry and hard. The people who make your sandwich for you will ask if you want your sub done "Mike's way". Respond in the affirmative and the sandwich preparer grabs a bottle of oil in one hand and a bottle of vinegar in the other and commences to shaking the living daylights out of them and onto your sandwich which pretty much soaks the heck out of it. And I mean they SOAK it-so much so that your sub will be sitting in a puddle of the stuff by the time the preparer is through shaking the heck out of them bottles. Now, to be fair, if you plan to eat your Jersey Mike's sub right then and there in the restaurant you are in for a treat. The oil and vinegar will not have had enough time to soak into your thirsty sub roll. HOWEVER, if you get your sub "to go" so you can eat it at home, the oil and vinegar will have sufficient time during the trip to absorb into your sub roll and turn it into a soaking wet, dripping mess. The roll is completely mushy. Mike's way? No, thanks. So, on my next trip to Mike's I thought I'd get my sub with mayo instead of the dousing of oil and vinegar Mike's Way thingy. The bread was very dry and crunchy. Hmmm, I wonder if that's the plan at Jersey Mike's-the "Mike's way" dousing softens up the dry bread and provided you eat the sandwich right away, it's terrific. And I've been back enough to know that it was not an isolated dry bread incident. Actually, I NEVER get a fresh roll at Jersey Mike's-I guess it just isn't meant to happen for me. Anyway, I keep going back because it IS a pretty decent sandwich after all. And I suppose that the sandwich soaking process for a Jersey Mike's sub is roughly the same premise as the accepted and standard practice of dunking an entire Italian Beef sandwich (roll and all) into the au jus immediately before it gets served. If you eat it right then and there, it's absolute heaven. Wait too long and the juice ruins the roll and the whole sandwich collapses. Same with Jersey Mike's, I suppose. Just a thought. read more

Had a terrible experience. Had a coupon to use but ordered online for faster service. When I got there, they would not honor the coupon because they couldn't take any charges off. Really? You can't do a refund or credit? How can a restaurant only make charges on a credit card but can't issue a credit? The guys told me the would honor the coupon the next time I visited even if it's after the expiration date. With such a hassle this time, do you think I would return? Then to top it all off, they charged my credit card for items I did not receive. I've tried contacting them but never heard back. Apparently they don't care about customer service. read more

Just a bad experience all the way around. - I was greeted with three employees telling me how busy they were ( the place was empty). - Asked me the type of bread I wanted, then told me they only had one type anyway. - All the vegetables were running low. The lettuce was sitting in a pool of water. He actually cupped his hand to scoop up the water along with the lettuce and put it on my sandwich . -They ask you if you want it "Mikes Way", if you say no, they give it to you anyway. Great place. Yes it will cost your close to 8 bucks for a nice sized sandwich and a drink, but overall the sandwich is very good. The italian has fresh meat sliced right in front of you and crisp toppings along with a shower of oil, vinegar and seasoning. Had the cheese steak and it was alot better than i had thought. Worst Chicken Caesar wrap ever! Wrap and lettuce were hot (not warm or cold as it should be) and had some yellow gonk on it while missing the Parmesan cheese. Why would you grill lettuce for a wrap? Waste of $8. I don't know what I got but it wasn't what I ordered off their menu. Also, -has poor food handling. Be warned! The person preparing sandwiches took a rag hanging next to her, wiped the counter, then the cutting knife, then the cutting board full of yuk, and then hung it back up to reuse... really? First time ever in a Jersey Mike's Sub restaurant. My husband and I are now converts. (Goodbye Subway!) Came here for dinner. Employees greeted us as soon as we came in. Food was fresh & tasted great. It was close to closing time when we came in so I expected the food to be a bit on the "old & wilted side". Not here. Everything was made fresh! I was most impressed with the PROFESSIONAL & FRIENDLY SERVICE. Another customer (who was a regular) came in & the workers greeted him as soon as he came in & even made small talk. The workers were young people but did not see them "goof off" in the back counter unlike *some* subway shops I've been to. Keep up the great job! You just gained a fan! read more

Seriously what happened to this place? The food wasn't always the best but the service was always great from the girls that work here. But tonight I take my family to pick up some sandwiches spent like $25 onto it don't sandwiches into kid sandwiches and come home to find that they completely ignored what I said not to put on my sandwich which was onions and jalapenos and it was all over the thing. I called on my way back to tell them that I expected a refund and a new sandwich because I was taking my time on this freezing cold night to come out and drive all the way back to 15 minutes to Jersey Mike's for the second time. When I got back fair instead of an apology and it's no problem let us refund your money and make you a new sandwich I was told I had to pick one or the other either they would refund the six dollars for my sandwich or they would make me a new one. I said no you're going to Dubal you going to make Minou sandwich and you're going to refund my money because I just took the time and the gas money to drive back here because you were too worried about who is going to grill the sandwiches and arguing about that to pay attention to what I said, The kid who I told my order to did not repeat it correctly to the guy that was making a sandwich and that Was the problem but instead of admitting that they called the kid who grilled the sandwich an idiot. When he was probably the only one with brains behind the counter at the moment. So then they said they had to call their manager what behind the wall and I could hear them snickering talking shit about me. The end result was that the stupid kid comes back and tells me his manager said it's okay but it's not their policy. So I said I'm sorry that your policy was completely ignoring what your customer wants and sending them all the way home to find something they didn't want. I don't need to take attitude from some overgrown teenage Dirtbag. At the risk of ever having to deal with these pools again I'm done with Jersey Mike's especially this location!!! read more

I love Jersey Mike's subs, and they are my favorite chain for cold subs. The subs are made with meats and cheeses sliced fresh at the counter, crisp veggies, great condiments like a tasty red wine vinegar, oil, and Hellman's real mayo, chewy bread ( I like the wheat best ) shipped straight from the Jersey shore, Jersey Mike's is the place to go for authentic east coast subs. The meats on Mike's subs are too notch including their outrageously juicy and perfectly salty deli style ham, the best most moist deli style turkey available, juicy rare roast beef roasted in house daily, good quality salami and pepperoni, perfectly spicy capicola, and prosciuttini ( not at all prosciutto; more like pepper ham) along with milky provolone cheese. Bonus points for bacon that is actually crispy. Although I prefer family owned restaurants, I am happy to know that there are going to be more and more Jersey Mike's popping up all over the country. read more
