They got our wraps done quickly but we spent so much time waiting to check out because of the people in front us.. open another register when you have a ton of people in line and have customers holding it up because they want to change their mind about how they're rung up. I've been going to Subway for years, but Jersey Mike's opened here recently and now it is my go to for subs and Philly cheesesteak. The staff is very friendly and actually remember us. We got on their rewards plan and will be getting some free food soon. It usually runs me about $9-11 for a regular sub with chips and a drinks, so pretty average. read more

Run by kids, like most of them. Unlike most of the franchises stores, this one doesn't make it work. Last 3 times I've come here, the food has been prepared and assembled sub par. Also, someone seems to make a mistake each time I go. It's a different person each time but someone either forgets something or puts something in my sandwich that wasn't supposed to be. Figured I'd stay the weekend and I'm glad i did! today i was leaving And I Heard there was a JM in Redondo where i was staying so i called an order in. See here is where it all started. The gentleman who took the order, His name was Gent (he took care of me the whole time) I strictly told him no juice, I ordered a giant 17 no peppers Mikes Way no tomato and no juice. Guys or anyone that will be reading this. I will be telling all of my business colleagues to come here whenever they want JM in the south bay. This man told me he's the supervisor nah, he should be the manager and a pay raise! this sandwich was heavenly. I was eating it and it was perfectly cooked. SO JUICY!!! I know how a jersey mike's sandwich is supposed to be made, this guy makes em better than a professional! i swear i was eating and there was juice dripping out of the bun after a couple of bites and i was like aw man, i said no juice but i realized i hadn't tasted any oil or vinegar. Then I realized that it was from the steak oh my lord! COOKED TO PERFECTION PRAISE THIS MAN! I mean it! Awful. Two times in two weeks they've handed me the wrong order at this location. The way they take orders here is a nightmare. You have to tell your order to at least 3 different people, watch carefully that they don't make a mistake, go through a pushy sales pitch asking for your phone number and in the end, you're given the wrong sandwich. Another bad experience at this place. Been here a dozen times as sandwiches taste fresher than subway. They don't clean the slicer between all the different meats. They always make a big deal out of the two questions aka their tip and a support the troops effort. We fell for both. Could have gone out for a real meal for $40 for two sandwich combos. When I asked about the rewards points the cashier who had already gotten her tip said sorry, too late. Disappointing! read more

Called ahead to place my order only to arrive and have the 4 Mbr staff team socializing and eating (which should be against health code!) and not to have started my order!!! There was a reason I called ahead... I was in a hurry! But good thing I was there... They were going to messed up a #7 (is that even possible???). We went to Jersey Mikes at pacific coast hey. Redondo Beach. Was here 1 other time the service was terrible. They would start your sandwich and walk away. And we just stood there 29 minute wait for a sandwich. So we try it again today the same terrible service. Will go back to Jersey Mike's on Crenshaw Blvd, torrance. i love coming here to get a sammie before i head back to work. the workers are so pleasant to be around, which makes my visit that much better. but lately it's been unusually hot in the store. it's so unbearable!!! i couldn't imagine how it must feel actually working in there for a whole shift. i can't even deal for the few minutes i am in there. either i suggest cranking up the AC, or i'd have to sadly, find another place to eat. read more

I have been ordering sandwich trays for events I hold twice a year that need to feed about 50 people from Albertsons in the King Harbor Shopping Center basically due to the location convenience for MANY years. Now that Albertsons is gone and Jersey Mike's moved into the shopping center we gave them a try this time. WOW! Such an amazing experience! Nick helped me place my order over the phone. He was so helpful and polite. He even contacted me the day of my event to finalize the order and confirm that I was all set. Other than knowing I would be getting their delicious sandwiches cut into 2-3" pieces in a box, I had no idea what to expect since this was our first time ordering from their catering menu.The boxes are amazing! You can open them and fold the cover into the box and each row has a header labeling what type of sandwich and bread was in each row. it was SO perfect!! The sandwiches were good except that they were not how I had ordered them. I ordered two grilled #13, Original Italian subs. After a fairly long wait I was given two, not grilled, #13's. I reminded them that I had ordered grilled subs and they said that they would have to make new sandwiches. That was fine with me except that I WAS PUT AT THE END OF THE LINE and I had to wait even longer. OK, fine, I waited because I like my subs grilled. The really objectionable thing was after another long wait they made me two more #13 Original Italian subs, UNGRILLED. I ordered some sandwiches a few days ago and was very disappointed. My sandwiches looked nothing like the pictures that advertise the business. The cheese AND meat were so thinly sliced that you could see through them. They were also placed nice and neat on the bread. The lettuce wasn't that full either. I had asked for the juice on my sandwich and when I got home, my sandwich was so dry I had to give half of it away. Before I payed I asked if they had changed the way they slice and the response I got was, "we'll who ever sets up the slicer in the morning sets how thick it slices. And I think the slicer we have here slices thicker." If that's true, then there's another problem, the acting manager was SLICING. He should have known that the slices were too thin and therefor added more to the sandwich. I went to a different Jersey Mike's and theirs were fine. If this store isn't careful. They'll loose business. They already lost my family of 6 people. read more

I have a allergy issue and what I love about this place they understood. They were nice and friendly I was the only Brown skin Hebrew in that place. They treated me with respect and I ordered a spinach turkey wrap and that WAS THE BEST SPINACH TURKEY WRAP I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. They offered to change gloves without even me asking them to, they completely understood and took good care of my order. This is my favorite Jersey Mike's location! Every time I visit, the customer service is delightful. I live up in Marina del Rey and work in Palos Verdes, and one day I stopped on my way to work. The place was pretty busy, but the gentleman working the slicer and making first contact with the guests was extremely pleasant in greeting me, and didn't seem rushed or under any pressure to take my order. I always only get the same sub, so I knew what I wanted and how I wanted it. Since it's a meatless sandwich, he offered to clean off the machine for me. Even with other guests in line putting the pressure on him to expedite things! That's awesome! Everyone behind the counter was smiling and very interactive with each other (to keep things moving) and with the guests. The next time I stopped, it wasn't nearly as busy, but as soon as a few people got in line, an additional team member (maybe supervisor or manager) stepped behind the deli case to ask if anyone was ordering a hot sub, so they could start that process. Nice work on the all hands on deck when needed part. The next several times I visited every employee spoke to me with a smile or in a fun personalized way. I like when it seems natural, rather than forced/ fake/ robotic. I've worked in several aspects of customer service, including in food service, so I know how things can be. I ENJOY stopping here to pick up lunch on my way to work now. I'll get extra hungry waiting, and leave a little earlier just to have time to pick up my #14 on my way to the peninsula. I've read a few poor reviews for this particular location, and people just seem over reactive or too quick to form an opinion. Sometimes people and teams have an off day or an off 5 minutes. Cut them some slack! And don't take one bad experience out on the entire store right away. I encourage anyone debating about grabbing a sub from this location to DO IT! You won't be disappointed. And, tell the staff when they make your day. I did. And the chatting and joking excelerated from there. We get subs here a few times a month, usually the same order for two. Starting at the beginning with the ease of ordering on line, to the ease of parking at the door, add the friendly hellos as you enter, to the quick pickup and getting on your way - all of that works like a charm. The bread is good and the choices are many. The problem is the inconsistency with the sandwich build, and I believe it depends on the crew. If you want either or both the vinegar and oil (tasty inclusions) by the time you get the sandwich to your table you could have the perfect sandwich or your bread could be a soggy mess. Yesterday I ordered 3 large and one half sandwich and there was so much oil on each sandwich that the individual sandwich bags were soaked thru. We transferred the sandwich fillings to sandwich rolls I had on hand. Because of this we've stopped adding any condiments to our orders and only did so this time because our company wanted to try the oil and vinegar. So heads up here, if you don't mind soggy bread then definitely go for the condiment addition, but if soggy bread doesn't do it for you pass on this option. read more
