How did I not know about Jersey Mike's being in this shopping center? Better late than never! It's a bit of a hassle getting here with young kids but thanks to curbside pickups, I'm able to order super easily on the phone app and check-in when I park. The employees are so friendly and the food is as fresh as it gets outside of my own kitchen. This restaurant is a gem that we enjoy as a family now that our young kids started eating sandwiches. That was a few months ago and when I reached out, via the email provided in their response to my last review, I never received an email back. Every time my husband sees Jersey Mike's we will stop in an get him a Big Kahuna cheesesteak, sub swiss for provolone. I am not a huge fan of sandwiches so I usually pass, but he really enjoyed his here. Portions are huge, but they will cost you more than other sandwhich places, it does make a difference with being sliced and made to order and you can get great deals with coupons or joining their email club. This place is an operations disaster. Here are the stories of my past two attempted times to pick up a basic turkey sandwich. I went there a couple months ago on a Saturday late lunch. The store was predictably fairly packed. I got in line .. but after 10 minutes made no progress and it wasnt for lack of staffing. Behind the counter were at least six workers ... but only one was at the slicer. So everyone in the store including the five JM workers were just watching the meat cutter slowly push out sandwiches one by one. Rediculous. After not moving for 15 minutes I left .. swearing Id never go back... ... until today. Its was late lunch and just happened to be driving by so decided to give it another shot. Went inside the store .. maybe five people waiting ... not too bad. There was one guy in front of me. But ... again, after the guy in front did not order for the ten minutes I was there, I left again. Not only did he not order .. there was zero acknowledgement from the staff .. no " we will be with you in a couple minutes sir, etc". The issue this time .... a ton of online pick-up and delivery orders. There must have been ten tickets being processed ... so all of the walk ins stood there there with their thumbs up the a___s. Rediculous ..again. Bad management (which Im sure is chain wide). The sandwiches are not that good, not worth the aggravation of waiting with many better (and quicker) options in Hermosa. read more

The staff are also very friendly even though they're swamped with orders! I also think they've never messed up an order which is saying a lot when your order is complicated or long. They steal your money and your food. I asked for delivery of an 90 dollar order. It never came. They used a third party vendor named Door dash. The rep never delivered. I called store they said the door dash rep deactivated number. I ended up Driving to the store and delivered myself. You guys need to pick better vendors. read more

WARNING: DO NOT order catering from this location. I ordered catering from this location for a party and was 100% disappointed. I placed an online catering order and prepaid for the order as well. I also received an email confirmation of my order. When I went to pick up the order they didn't have it. They said they had no record of my previously confirmed order. Only until I provided the order confirmation did they begin the order. It was ready an hour and a half after the originally requested pick up time. The worst jersey mike's In the South Bay !!!! Pay almost $9 for a regular turkey sandwich at noon (9-10-19) when holding it I noticed something different , the weight seem way off. So I've been waiting to write this post but about a week ago I changed my whole view on this place because of one person. First off when I came in to order the girl didn't even look at me. She was moving so fast and I'm sure that was the main reason why she f'd up my whole life. I ordered a chipotle chicken Philly cheese steak sandwich. When I sat down I was texting on my phone and took a bite. The taste was weird and different. So I went to the counter and asked if it was chicken. The girl said did you order 42 or 43. And she kept asking me. I looked at her and said I didn't order a number I ordered a chipotle chicken Philly sandwich. so the guy from the back came out and said well it's beef. Now back story on me, I was in the military for 4 years and got out. I noticed how unhealthy I started to become so I made a life change and not eat beef or pork. SLOW. That's the word I would use to describe them..... slow. I've come to this location on 4 occasions.... 2 out of the 4 visits I ended up leaving because after 20 minutes of waiting in line, I was over it and left. The line just wasn't moving. I don't understand why it is this difficult for them to make a sandwich. Either they don't know how to make sandwiches or people order online and they put priority on those over the customers who are actually at their tiny little shop. Funny.... I love coming here. It's always busy, and for good reason. The team members have great attitudes, and are fairly generous with their ingredients (or it's just a great deal to me). The sandwich wraps are stuffed to bursting. There are long lines at lunch for good reason. I am a member of the sandwich club, so after however many visits, I get treated to a freebie. First off the sandwiches are very good..this isn't about that.. The employees are kids that need to be retrained. Some are sick (stay HOME) and wipe their nose and then make the food..OMG..Sometimes I get a decent amount of meat other times not so much.. Be care customers when paying..they have NO idea how to handle money..They have miscounted my change on more than one occasion.. This is my second time this month using Jersey Mike's Subs to cater a large event. I highly recommend them! The manager Saul assisted me both times and is friendly, professional and efficient. Not only was the delivery on time but they were actually EARLY so the food could be set up on time. (Punctuality is hard to come by in this city.)
