I love Jersey Mike's but not this location. The staff, especially the girl at the register, is obnoxious and pushy. In addition, they don't listen to the customers. I've eaten there twice and had to correct them numerous times on my order. Each visit I also saw other customers going through the same ordeals. And I'd like to tell the manager, please let your staff know I DON"T NEED A PHONE NUMBER TO PURCHASE A SANDWICH! I don't want to be part of your club. Is this mandatory????? Is my cash not enough? The staff seems to think this is a requirement. They don't even let customers decide if they want to participate. They can F-Off. Rude and obnoxious is not where I like to purchase my meals. Came here with my younger cousin (she was 11) and we ordering our food. Mid-order this rude, short blonde interrupts to correct my order. (I ordered a hot sub that doesn't come in the mini size) I had no problem getting the size that was available. This blonde girl continues to roll her eyes, and pout while trying to ask us questions about the toppings we desired. My younger cousin, who has never been there before, asked "What's Mike's way?". The blonde then retorts spewing out in her fastest verbiage the contents of 'Mike's way'. My cousin turns to me confused and I then explain to her what the rude girl has said. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I felt as if I was being a burden just by simply being a customer. The other workers looked like they wanted to leave with us, but had to reluctantly stay to finish out their work. I've worked in the food/beverage industry and this was just unacceptable customer service. Shame on you. read more

I consider myself a true sub connoisseur and eat a sub sandwich about 3 times a week. I, even worked for a legendary sub shop in South Florida in the 1960s. Jersey Mikes is the only other sub shop that even comes close to their quality and taste. Instead of oregano though, our secret formula was using a meat slicer to slice green peppers and onions impossibly thin, it created an amazing oily flavor on top of the olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt and pepper. A great Italian style sub is all about the way the ingredients set each other off and does not necessarily have to be loaded with meat. While, Jersey Mikes is substantially more expensive than all of the other sub chains, they are usually worth it, in most cases. Their bread and provisions are superior, and the cheerful employee attitudes make it a pleasant ambiance. The Super and the Italian are the SUBs that I personally enjoy. They would have received 5 stars from me, but I have been very disappointed each time I have ordered a roast beef sub, which is normally my favorite choice, but now elsewhere. Each time I ordered one, I felt like I got totally ripped off. I don't mind dropping $14 on a Sky High Sandwich at Nate and Al's, or Jerry's Deli as they offer 5 times the amount of roast beef but cannot justify doing so for just a few slivers of roast beef. For now, I guess I'll continue going to Rinaldi's or Togos for my roast beef subs, even though I actually prefer the bread and seasonings at Jersey Mikes. If I get bold, maybe I'll try another Jersey Mike's location and see if this is a chain-wide phenomenon. read more

Service is fast and they are soooo nice! We accidentally stumbled upon this location and I'm so happy we did! I even got a free cookie because I'm a first timer. The sandwiches are way better than at subway, but they also cost more. Parking is easy, they are located in the shopping center with Petco and Albertsons, more towards Hudson house than 190th. We ordered a sandwich online, which is easy to do and easily customizable. They made a mistake which we would probably not noticed, BUT the young lady in the shop knew and had the integrity to say "hey I made the wrong sandwich , please let me fix it for you." Dear Gaven. I often go to Jersey Mikes in Redondo Beach to enjoy the sandwiches. Recently, I had an issue with points versus paying. I wasn't happy with what occurred so I asked to see the manager, but it happen to be his day off so I asked for his number, which they gave me without question. Several days later I called Sev Khachatourians who patiently waited while I explained the situation. Sev was extremely courteous, very professional, and gave me a solution that I gratefully accepted. My sub (turkey Swiss) was great except too much mustard was all over. The Mr's chicken Philly cheesesteak on the other hand... The chicken was dry, and there was barely any cheese. I'm giving this location 2 stars and not one because the sandwiches are fresh, but good grief, they need some help. Too many times my order is wrong (tuna instead of Italian, it's not even close or forget avocado which I paid for, getting ham instead of salami) and takes way longer than the quoted time. I placed an order early afternoon before it gets too busy and was quoted 10-15 minutes, usually they say 15-20, so I came in to pick the order up in 25 mins and first they couldn't find it, they the said that were making it in back. 40 minutes from when I called, my order was ready. I never received a response from the email the business owner/manager told me to email, very dissapointed ! -UPDATED- Sandwiches are good here better than most locations I've been to, but I had a bad experience the last time I stopped by. I ordered a #7 with chips and a drink. As the person was making my sandwich I noticed there was a few gaps where there was missing turkey on the bread. I kindly asked if she could fill in the spaces where there was no turkey. Everything seemed good. It wasn't until I left the store (my order was to go). I looked at my receipt and there was a charge for $2.70, for extra meat. My problem is that she only put on like 2-3 pieces of meat which was definitely not $2.70 worth. I eat at jersey mikes a lot and I feel that I was overcharged for the amount of turkey I received. The cashiers name was Cassandra. What bothered me the most is that the lady making the sandwich and the person at the register did not tell me that I would be charged for extra meat, aren't they supposed to tell you that you will be charged ?! Today is not my day. The review posted was not the one I mean to post. I wrote a whole long one that included after pickup and was written much better. I'm new to yelping My dumb self erased it and posted the other one instead somehow. It's full of typos and isn't the finished product. This whole experience has taken almost two hours out of my day. I'm not a happy camper. Anyway, I did get the sandwich. It tasted like fish though I didn't not order tuna, it was soggy, the tomatoes were gritty, and the mustard was way to sweet for brown mustard. It was edible though. (Mostly) The service once I got to the store was much better than over the phone, and it was a breeze picking up, adding my coupon, and paying for the sub.
