I found my new favorite quick sub shop. I finally got myself into a Jersey Mike's and this one is awesome. The service was fast, friendly and helpful. I know they're an east coast chain but my biggest delight is the fact they also carry a small variety of Tastykake goodies! What a fantastic job treat to go with their tasty sandwiches. I like that they can be customized or just "the Mike way" without the Subway mentality of a long line of assorted fillings. Simple and filling, that's how I like my sandwiches! They slice the meat and cheese right there for each sandwich, you taste the meat so much better than with the slices at other shops. All around enjoyable experience! read more

This place is awesome. They learn your name and treat you like a friend or family. There sandwiches are always bomb and super fresh. The lines move quickly, even if they are long. Customer service was terrible. Credit card reader was acting up and employee acted like it was my fault even when another worker stated machine was not reading cards. When I suggested that they should let customers know before ordering in case they had no cash on hand. Employee became disgruntled and told me he would issue a refund for my order and tried to snatched my bag with the partially filled order. I snatched it back and told him I wanted my completed order and that as much time as it took him to check me out it should be ready. He obviously didn't want to be at work or want his job. It is not good to try and embarrass a customer due to your credit card machine not working, asking if I had another card as if my card was denied. It was not! I asked after purchasing food with cash to make sure my card was not scanned for all the times we attempted the transaction and got a snarky comment in response. Maybe training in customer service needs to be done with this employee before he runs across a customer willing to teach him. Employee was a very short Caucasian gentleman. If I return to purchase food from this store I will make sure I bring my husband or my very fiesty daughter with me to deal with his poor attitude. Same as any other jersey mikes but getting a hold of them to make a phone order is just ridiculous. Called about 3 times, no one picked up. Waited about 10 minutes called 2 more times and still no answer. Went out a my way and made an online order, came in and there was only one person in line. I don't know what it is about this place but there's a clear line of no communication here between making the sandwich, and the customer (me). There was no asking what I wanted on my sandwich and when I mentioned I didn't want tomatoes on my sub, he said "then we will scrape it off." The guy who was slicing the meat didn't even seem like he wanted to be there at all. Come on guys/gals you're working for a competitor to Subway of all places. At least try to be a little enthusiastic about your job, interact with clients/customers, and go the distance to ask if they want their sandwich standard or customized. Just wanted to give a big shout out to Hannah! We ordered with DoorDash and the driver grabbed the wrong order and delivered to me. When I called the store Hannah answered and she knew exactly what happened because the "other" Lori was in store for her pick up order and I could tell she was not being pleasant to Hannah about the mix up. Poor Hannah sounded so stressed and busy but was super nice and took my number and promised to call me back . In the meantime I contacted DoorDash and explained the situation. I opted to get a refund for the order. Hannah called back and said she also spoke with DoorDash and my order was refunded but she wanted to make it right so she had our sandwiches remade and delivered to our house! Totally unexpected and very appreciated for sure. Well on top of that when we got our order, not only was there a nice note from Hannah but 2 sub cards as well ! I love Jersey Mike's but I won't be eating at this location anymore. I just watched a worker with his gloves on walk to the customer side of the counter and pick up an item a customer had dropped on the ground and hand it to the man. He then went back to the food line and did NOT change his gloves and proceeded to start touching and preparing food for a customer who had just walked in. I watched this whole thing in disgust and lost my appetite!! Unsanitary to the max! I don't even want to know what else goes on there and how many times that guy touched gross stuff and then people's food and contaminated the whole batch of lettuce and other toppings. Please train your employees better!!! read more

My first experience at Jersey Mikes was amazing. All the employees were super engaged and the sub was fantastic. The manager, Cody, found out it was my first time so he gave me a free chocolate chip cookie. The kicker is the next time I went into this sub shop Cody remembered my name. Cody is running a tight ship and when I tried to recruit him over to my retail operation he said he was very happy where he was. Keep up the good work Cody and crew! This Jersey Mikes has a ways to go. Sandwiches not being made up to par. Redmond location is much better. Redmond offers a family meal deal which Renton does not. - Getting a 3 star sub for a 5 star sub price. - Multiple blank stares by a staff who seems to be untrained. As a 9+ year jersey mikes patron, I'll give this location more chances in the future, but for now I will quench my Jersey Mikes cravings when I'm in Renton. read more

We tried this place because we got some coupons in the mail since it was the grand opening. I wasn't a fan of the cold subs cause it's just like any other sandwich, but I do like their hot subs. The chipotle cheesesteak was yummy. I would recommend that. The service is super slow though when you order hot subs. The cold subs are out quick, but if you order a hot sub, expect to wait around for about 20 mins. I would suggest calling in your order then going to pick it up. read more

Stood around for 10 minutes, first in line so they could tell me it'd be "a few more minutes"...for $10 not very much meat, decided to give it a second chance but they couldn't even get that right. My boyfriend and I just ate here and we really enjoyed it. We both got the "Club Sub". The bacon tastes so much better than Subway's bacon. It tastes like bacon you cook at home! The white bread and the rosemary parmesan bread was great! All the ingredients were fresh and tasted great as well. The guy who made our subs was very friendly and made sure he got everything right. Very fast service as well. Prices were a little high but that's honestly how prices are going everywhere due to the economy and food going up in cost. I placed an order online and it was sent to the wrong store. I called and advised them of the mistake and requested that the order be transferred to the Kent location. The gentlemen advised me that he would have his manager call me back but nobody got back to me and I still had to pay for another sandwich. They did not handle this customer service issue at all they just took my money and didn't care about the outcome. I'm going to post this review on every social media site there is. I am glad Jersey Mike's is in Renton, Great Subs, a bit expensive though. Staff was extremely friendly, still a bit of training needed, a bit heavy on the oil and vin when making my sandwiches which can ruin a great sandwich quick. Explained to him that this keeps happening.....so they were out of chicken of over a week....now they run out of bread more nights then not. My boyfriend and I love jersey mikes for a last minute quick meal. He always gets the Philly cheesesteak & I always get the super basic turkey sandwich. Tonight I tried the chicken Cesar wrap, and yikes! There must've been a whole bottle of dressing in it! Only a few pieces of chicken, and just flat out sloppy. The dressing was heavily dripping out of it, I couldn't even finish it. My boyfriend who will eat anything tried it, and said yuck. We will certainly be back, but I won't be having a chicken Cesar wrap again. Ever. read more

I wish i could give zero stars. Chris the manager, nice guy. Knows how to deal with customers. Girl with tattoos all over her arms (I don't have a problem with tattoos) is RUDE and has no customer service skills. I work in Customer Service, I know how to treat customers, this girl has a long way to go! I was the only person in the ENTIRE store at the time that I ordered, 2 guys walk in behind me. She takes their orders and starts making their sandwiches 1st... I'm standing there wondering wtf is going on as anybody else would. she makes eye contact with me several times but still doesn't tell me why she's not making mine! so I hop back in line from over by the register, as more customers walk in, she NOW starts my order, after she gives the 2 guys their sandwiches and they pay... I say, politely, "you know I just stood in line twice right' she SNARKS back extremely defensively and says "NO YOU DIDN'T" umm... yea... I did... then she says "WELL I NEED TO MAKE THE COLD SANDWICHES FIRST" ... if this is true, which I don't care if it is or not, she certainly didn't TELL ME.. I mean how would you feel if you order something when you're the ONLY person in the store... and the guys who walk in 2-3 mins after you... leave with their food before she even starts making yours, without even ACKNOWLEDGING why that is happening. So, then the fun started, we were going back and fourth for about a Min... honestly STUNNED and SHOCKED at the COMPLETE LACK OF SERVICE SKILLS.. she tells me that "I SHOULD BE EMBARRESED". ME!.. not sure exactly why.... then she says "HERE TAKE YOUR SANDWICH AND LEAVE" I SAY "NO, I'M GONNA PAY FOR MY SANDWICH, IM NOT LOOKING FOR A FREE SANDWICH" I was just looking for... what's the word... customer service!!, without the DISGUSTING attitude... but what did I get... her saying....
