This specific location actually count their beyond Orange chicken! For crying out loud, I paid for double premium beyond Orange chicken, only to see they scooped it and counted it!! They are skimpy with their side portions as well. I only went here because it was the closest location that has the limited time beyond Orange chicken. So, I thought I'd give it a try! We came right when they open; at 10:30am. About eighty percent of the food was done and ready to serve. They said fried rice is going to be a 45-minute wait, so never mind? White rice was not done cooking. They do not serve brown rice here at this location. Chow mein was crumby like the noodle strand wasn't long like the other locations that I'm used to. Their super greens were under cooked, which I don't mind at all, but others might have a cow about how hard and semi raw it was. Now, onto the beyond Orange chicken; the breading was a bit much, it was deep fried then sauced with the original Orange chicken sauce. The texture inside was definitely not chicken, maybe soy? My 11-year old daughter and I thought it tastes just like Orange chicken. However, my husband gave it a 6 out of 10. Saying it's a bit mushy and has a chalky after taste. Touché! If you've been to one Panda Express you've pretty much been to them all... Staff here was really nice and the restaurant was clean. I personally love their orange chicken and chow mein the best. Eggrolls aren't bad. Obviously this isn't 5 star, authentic cuisine, but it's hard not to crave and sometimes it just hits the spot. If you're ballin' on a budget - they've got a $20 family meal if you order on their app. I personally haven't done it, but I've looked into it and it's a good amount of food. They're offering delivery and takeout during COVID-19, so it's a solid option if it's what you're craving. For parents, when things do go back to "normal..." Portions are ridiculously small. I ate the fried rice in a two entree plate in three bites. The food is only half full and is kid sized. This IS one of the better Panda locations I've been to. It's a large quantity for the price. The food is VERY hit or miss, here's why: Old food! When they make a new batch, they throw the old on top and stir it in. I've watched them do it, right there on the line. Some items they seem to run out of completely before refreshing, and that doesn't suffer this problem, but ried rice: ...I don't know what they're doing wrong, but it's not like any other friend rice I've had before. It has hardly any egg or vegetable in it, and it's really bland. Super greens: this has been reduced to steamed broccoli and cabbage. What ever happened to the rest of the ingredients? Didn't there used to be zuchini and carrots as well? Speaking of missing items: I haven't seen black pepper chicken at this location in ages, even though I still see it advertised. Im a big fan of panda express. Probably go for lunch a couple times a month. This location is horrible tho. Been here a couple times now, the staff is very rude, especially the lady manager. I get it, you made terrible life decisions, and now you work shoveling food into boxes. Im using the term shoveling very generously. They skimp on everything. They literally count out the pieces of chicken they give you, no matter how small. Ordered online for pick up. Our family likes the family meal pack. Super disappointed. My granddaughter fell asleep on the drive. Waited in the car until the time they stated the order would be ready. I noticed the website offered curbside pick up. I called the Fairwood store asked if they could bring it outside to me, I explained that I had a sleeping child. She didn't even check to see if the order was ready. She just said they were too busy.
