After a fleeting 10 minutes that felt like a lifetime of magnificent waiting, a poised young woman bursted through the front door of the Sonic Drive-In, and said "can you pull up to the window?" We waited at the window, and after only several minutes, the young man who had so graciously welcomed me to Sonic Drive-In reappeared, this time to ask, "what would you like?"
