    Complimentary Peanuts
    Laura P.

To me, Five Guys crown jewel are their fresh, hand cut potatoes, fried perfectly! They are always served in an cup - small, medium or large, and heapingly overflowing. Plenty of ketchup, and even Malt vinegar, is available. Their burgers are griddle grilled and sold as single, double or triple burgers. They have a plethora of toppings available, and if you've never been to a Five Guys it may take a bit to get through their toppings menu. Hotdogs are also available. Sitting around the store are large boxes of complimentary roasted, shelled peanuts, with cardboard bowls for shells, to snack on while you're waiting. Extremely pleasant service on this Saturday morning!

The double was huge. The fries were fresh and the peanuts were free. Can't go wrong here.

We will definitely be coming here again, loved the food! We had the small size onion rings, I can't remember what they call it, but definitely a small serving. The sandwiches were big though. I had the beef brisket sandwich with country gravy and I cannot rave over it enough! A very substantial sandwich, I couldn't finish mine. He had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, also wonderful. We both had the coleslaw, a very generous portion! From now on, this will be THE stop for lunch out at Forsyth Park!

Upon entry, there was a bar and it was very crowded and a little loud. But everyone was super friendly (and respectful) and seemed to be having an awesome time. (Might have stopped in if the entire family hadn't been with me!) A short walk down the hall was Betty Bombers...all real American food. The artwork was awesome, especially since both of my grandfathers were in WWII, and some of it looked familiar. The table ordered everything from salads, to a HUMUNGOUS hotdog for the kid (he originally wanted two and the waitress told him to start with one LOL), cheeseburgers, a pastrami sandwich, and a ration size portion of steak and cheese fries for me. I really liked how they offered smaller portions for a lot of their items, especially since we had a huge lunch. Everyone's food came out but mine. When I pointed it out to the waiter (who didn't take our order), he went to check and said it was his mistake and he would bring it out shortly. It took less than five minutes to come out and he offered me a milkshake for the wait. I had already had Leopold's that day but my cousin hadn't so he got a Mint Chocolate Chip milkshake. He really liked it. All of the food was good. I wanted to point out that my steak and cheese fries said ribeye and queso in the description. Yes, that was probably ribeye (it was tender and delicious) and while it was technically queso, Cheez whiz would have been a more apt description. That's ok, because it was good. Overall, a wonderful experience. I really liked how the waiter took accountability and fixed it. Very much appreciated. I would 100% return.

The Burger looked great, but just didn't have a lot of taste.

It's definitely the slowest Sonics I've ever been to but my slushee and pretzel are usually always right. I came here a few days ago to pick up a mobile order, I waited almost 30 minutes after I checked in and put my stall number in. My drink and pretzel had to be remade and this was the first time that my drink was bad at Sonics. This is the only Sonics near me and I love slushees nobody makes them like Sonics so I'm forced to come to this location. I hope they get some adults in here ASAP!!

When we arrived at stall number 8, we pressed the red button. And then we talked about our life together, and how we met, and the time she spilled capers and mustard on my brand new tie, and our future together, and what we would name our children. And then we realized that 18 minutes had passed without anyone taking our order. I went inside to seek assistance. And that is where I encountered the most charming, professional, and devoted young man I have ever met. He wore a smart black hat, which cast a shadow over his gentle brown eyes and freshly ironed red shirt. I approached the youngster and said, "I am just waiting in the stall, and I was wondering --" "We are not taking stall orders," he interjected, earnestly, as he muted his headset with delicate fingers. "How can I order?" I asked. "Go to the drive through," he said, gracefully gesturing towards the speaker and menu sign. "Absolutely, I replied. "And thank you sir." We then proceeded to the drive through speaker, excited for the second chapter of an already unusually dignified fast food experience. When we arrived at the drive-through intercom, we paused for a moment, and listened to our hearts beat expectantly, echoing in the silence of our red Dodge Charger. After a fleeting 10 minutes that felt like a lifetime of magnificent waiting, a poised young woman bursted through the front door of the Sonic Drive-In, and said "can you pull up to the window?" "Absolutely," we responded, in awe of an evening we never could have imagined only half an hour earlier. We waited at the window, and after only several minutes, the young man who had so graciously welcomed me to Sonic Drive-In reappeared, this time to ask, "what would you like?" "We would like cheesy fries, mozzarella sticks, and a cheeseburger," we replied. After a sigh, he explained, with a sadness too deep for his years, that the truck that was supposed to deliver mozzarella sticks had not arrived, and reassured us that it would arrive the next day. We nodded, told him we understood, and requested cheesy tots in their place. After 10 more minutes sitting in silence, in love, in our red Dodge Charger at the Sonic Drive-In drive-through pickup window, we rolled away into the night, headlights glowing behind us, competing with the stars. Five stars, that is. Bravo.
