Tonight I watched someone cry while packing my sandwich due to how overwhelmed they were with orders and no help from any of their co-workers who were just screwing off...that's insane... not scheduling other competent people lead someone to break down in front of me today. I'd like to just talk to owner of this particular jersey mikes cause there is never ever enough workers or there's one worker busting their tail and someone just wandering around. I love the product but this specific franchise is ran so poorly. I have online ordered multiple times and my order is always 10-15 mins late, I've now accepted I have to wait longer every time. I go in person and still, long line, one person working their tail off and someone sort of dawdling around. It'd be great if there was a separate station for just online orders so all customers can be satisfied. There needs to be a change here. Walked into the store at 10:30 am thinking it would be a quick stop. Once again they had a large order and ignored the 3 people waiting while they worked on the large order. Finally was told they would be right with us and 15 minutes later my order was taken. Instead of taking our orders and getting us out of the store so they could work on the large order they made us wait. Wow, what a disappointment! I have been a long time fan of jersey mikes and have always gone out of my way to get jersey mikes opposed to any other sub shop. Tonight was absolutely the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I will give a quick walk through the absolute disaster you might want to call service. Walk in: "Hi, you guys are still open right?" They were obviously closing up early, business hours are clearly stated both on yelp and on the door. Delaney "not really, but I guess" Clearly frustrated at the appearance of a customer. As we place our orders, my boyfriend is deciding between regular and giant for about 37 seconds while Delaney decides to suggest to that we keep the extra as leftovers. When I state that he is horrible with leftovers and won't eat them, she reply's "let me guess, you eat them" incredibly rude and offensive. She proceeds to slice the bread and throw them across the counter to make sure we were well aware they she was extremely unhappy with our arrival. Construction of the sandwiches: Colleague of Delaney's was clearly trying to rush us through because both sandwiches had to be reopened to ask for additional toppings in the process as she attempted to close them and wrap up after each step. As our sandwiches were being made, another couple walked in (well within business hours) and Delaney loudly exclaimed "F**k". Completely inappropriate! After the fiasco of trying to order two subs within business hours and being treated as a burden, my boyfriend stated how shocked and disappointed he was in the customer service. At that point he asked for the managers name and the staff names which were involved, which he NEVER does. He will pick onions out of his omelet not to send food back. At which point Delaney stated one staff member was a minor (which I believe should be protected) and I realized that poor girl is learning customer service and professionalism from one of the worst I have ever seen. I truly hope she sees better management and leadership soon. At check out, after paying for our order, Delaney proceeded to throw our bag across the counter at my boyfriend! Wow, we will never spend another dollar in this branch. We will gladly drive to Torrance crossroads branch to avoid the rude and disrespectful staff here. Good luck! read more

You know it's sad that this store is going down hill with there lazy sandwich artist if that's what we're calling them. The last few times I've ordered for delivery, they never bothered to add mayo OR mustard to the sandwich. I always purchase 2 giant subs for my family to share, so it's not cheap. And without the mayo and mustard, why even f*cking bother, Right!? This time I snapped a photo because I thought it must have been snafu with the last order. But these were the same. Why?? All you need to do is just squeeze it on. Not hard. I see a lot of customers have had issues here as well and have made suggestions like Lee's and Ike's Love. I like Sandwich Boulevard myself, but Jersey Mikes has been my favorite since forever. I'm really hoping these sandwich artists can get back to making the sandwiches we all know and love. Over the past few years I have gone to this location quite a few times. Never a problem. About two months ago , I dropped by this store , and I was hit with a STENCH as I entered the restaurant. A very strong SEWER smell ! No one seemed to be concerned, so I proceeded to get my sandwich and got out of there ASAP. Fast forward to September 10 , 2025. I entered the restaurant and AGAIN !! I was hit with a strong sewer stench. I thought "No Way !" So I politely asked for the manager . The team member informed me that there was usually no manager on the premises , but any of the other teenage team members could assist me with any questions I might have. I thought that was strange, as it was right in the middle of the lunchtime rush. I explained to him that there was a strong stench in the restaurant. He informed me that it was coming from a drain and there really wasn't anything that could be done about it.... REALLY ? UNACCEPTABLE ! It is NOT sanitary to have plumbing issues in a restaurant and not attend to them immediately. This has been a problem at this location for months ! I refuse to go back to this location ! Jersey Mike's has quickly become our new addiction. My wife always gets the Philly cheese steak on white bread and I usually get the turkey or turkey club on wheat but this time I ordered the chicken Philly and it was so good. Nice and warm, bread was crunchy. However if anything I'd order it with another cheese instead of American. Other than that the sandwich was great. The staff is always friendly and open to answer our questions. They work so fast and efficient no matter how long or short the line is. During the time we came in it was quiet and not busy. If you want to eat with a crowd then come in during the lunch rush lol. But during the 6/7pm time is nice and calm. They always keep the restaurant clean and the tables are cleaned often as well. Just had a really unpleasant experience here. We go here on a weekly basis, it's my 5 year olds favorite place to eat. We asked for a water cup with a lid on it and they refused repeatedly to give me one, and at one point tried to give me a cup with a lid that didn't fit it. Finally after needing to calmly "argue" that this cup wouldn't work, the cashier rolled her eyes at me and gave me one. And then told me that in the future this wouldn't happen. I was really confused. This is primarily a take out establishment and they won't give my 5 year old a water cup with a lid? So disappointing. On the upside, because I think a bad review is unfair to a business if unwarranted, I gave 3 stars because the food itself has been enjoyable and we've been happy with it more often than not. this world is an extremely cruel and evil and dark and possibly even demonic place. everyone you will ever meet is carrying something heavy enough to make god weep. there is real beauty and innocence and love to be found, but that only makes it worse. it allows the impact of the torture to be felt more fully and it feeds undeserving targets to the horror. in hell, terrible things only happen to the terrible. but here, the pure and the precious are fair game as well. any relief that's felt is a mockery that's quickly inverted as soon as you start to feel safe, like stepping out of a freezing pool only to be thrown back in once you adjust to the temperature of the air. hell is staying in the pool, but we're constantly being dipped in and out of it, like bread in a cosmic jester's fondue fountain, while we're forced to impotently watch everything we hold sacred drown in front of us. I was drowning the other day. there were no lifeguards, no life saving flotation devices, no incoming help. just me and the universe's contempt for my existence holding my head under the metaphorical fondue. and the fondue was scalding. we all know what this is like. and in these moments, we all search for relief in any form. whether it be furiously thrashing, clawing, gasping, or even praying. just anything to give yourself the illusion that you have some semblance of control. for me, on that day, the relief came in the form of a jersey mike's sandwich delivered to me by a subaru driving doordasher, like an angel reaching out from heaven. It had been 36 hours since I'd last eaten and I had been craving a good sandwich for months. a doordash notification popped up under the cracked screen of my foxconn slave assembled phone that cost me more than i make in a month and had to subsidize through a planet killing company. the notification informed me of a discount that would make the sandwich almost the same price as if i picked it up myself. It felt like a lifeline. could this be it? The relief ive been waiting for? I ordered the sandwich and waited. i realized i ordered it with vinegar. I hate vinegar. There we went, back to despair. The sandwich i so desperately craved would arrive tainted. but something about the sandwich, and the promise it held, empowered me. i decided to pick up the phone and call the store. it rang for a moment. i've worked jobs where people call to ask stupid questions while i'm helping customers during a rush. i've let those phone calls ring endlessly while scrambling to fulfill my duties without regard for the person on the other end of the line. i wouldnt have blamed the universe if, as karmic punishment, no one had answered. but to my relief, Jersey Mike's immediately answered after only one ring. i feebly made my request for no vinegar, like a small child asking a parent they never met for the crusts to be cut off. the woman on the phone, Jersey Mike's incarnate, let's call her Jersey Mikayla, was friendly and professional and kind and patient and everything I had forgotten could exist in a person. she happily and enthusiastically obliged my little request. joy. excitement. relief. i was so smitten thinking about the sandwich that was about to be made for me. but doubt crept in. what if i still didn't like it? i'd never had Jersey Mike's before. what if it takes a long time to get here? what if the doordasher delivers it to the wrong address and, Quaydarious, the homeless man who lives on my block, steals it before i find it? what if i get it, open it, and immediately drop it on the ground? would Jersey Mikayla turn on me if I tried to order a replacement? but none of that happened. i looked away from my phone for no more than a minute and when i looked back, the sandwich was 2 minutes away. they made and handed it off to the driver so fast that time seemed to dilate. the driver dropped it off at my correct address. he thanked me for the tip, an appreciation i dont often receive, even from more generous tips. I opened the bag and took my first bite. oh my god. it tasted like the inner child that died inside me long ago came back to life and hugged my tongue. I wanted to cry. I was home for the first time in my life. my screams into the void had echoed back with provolone and processed meat as if to whisper, "you are loved." my body and mind and spirit were nourished in a way that made me feel like i could finally rest now. the warmth of god's light shone down on me and I fell in love with life again. i was saved. baptized in the mayonnaise. it was a resurrection. a spiritual reunion with the part of myself that gave up. whoever made that sandwich may not have their portrait hung in the great halls of history, or have their visage carved into stone, but monuments rise and fall with the tides of history. sandwiches like that, however, will never be forgotten. thank you Jersey Mike's.
