Best sandwich shop I've ever been to. This was my first time going to a Jersey Mikes. I walk in and the employees were very welcoming. They patiently waited for me to order and offered to help answer any questions I had. The restaurant is very clean and well kept. While eating my sandwich one of the employees even asked if I liked my sandwich. I can't remember when I've ever been asked if I liked the sandwich that was made for me at a different sandwich shop. It's rare to even be asked these days if your food is good at a sit down restaurant. You can tell that a top notch team that's committed to excellence is running the show here. My daughter and I have celiac disease and we have to have a strict gluten free diet. It can be hard dining out because of the lack of gluten free foods, and the fear of one tiny crumb getting us both sick. So when I heard Jersey Mike's offered a gluten free bread, we were both really excited. When we arrived and asked for the gluten free bread. They said yes and then the employees just started cleaning the work area, they changed their gloves and washed their hands. I didn't even have to ask if they could change their gloves. They even had a customer wait for her to complete our sandwiches before starting the next. Mind you, we try to come early; so it's not busy. But as a celiac, you have no idea how that makes us feel. Customer service at this place is amazing. Such friendly people. They go to each table to ensure everything is right with their order and if they are enjoying themselves. Catered an event for my work and the gentleman I spoke on the phone with (I think his name was Zach) was wonderful! He asked a lot of questions to make sure he could accommodate my party and helped me figure out what to get. He also emailed my receipt going above and beyond normal customer service standards. Finally gave this new location a shot at lunch. I arrived just before noon and they only had one person ahead of me. I was greeted by several staff and all appeared to be happy to be on the job. I ordered a Roast Beef on white bread. It is nice to see them slice the meat for each sandwich. It does add a little time to the process and not sure that it is worth the wait time if the lines were long. I get the Fresh thing but as long as they are not cutting 20 pounds of meat in the morning hoping to sell it all I think it is not worth the wait. The bread was very fresh and the meat was tasty. I thought they could have had a little more meat on my sandwich but it was a very good sandwich. The price was in line with what everyone expects to pay these days for lunch. My girlfriend and I were in town for business and decided to go for lunch at Jersey Mike's Subs. I was so impressed not only with the fresh great sandwiches we had but the awesome service we received. We walked in and the menu is long just standing there reading as our mouths are watering! LOL. Zac asked if he could explain the menu and tell us about the most well known popular sandwiches JM offers. He stood there and explained the menu with such personality. Asked if we had any questions. I had the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich delicious! My friend had their Italian Sub which they're known for. She loved it. Reminded her of her home in New Jersey. I just want to give a shout out to Zac and his staff who were very warm , friendly and welcoming. This place is my favorite place for subs. Forget about subway or togos or any of those places. This place has got the good stuff and the people helping you out there are sooooo kind and thoughtful. They know me by name at this point and they always try to guess what I'm gonna eat that day it's awesome going in there I always leave happy. It's silly for great customer service to be surprising but this location and others that I've been to are always happy you arrived and happy to help. Went here Monday 2/5 for the first time. We loved it! The sandwiches were perfect and so tasty! The cheesesteak was off the hook good. In addition to how great the food was the customer service was just as good. The owner was so genuine and nice, delivered our food to the table and came back to check on us. My first visit to Jersey Mike's was just like I was back in Jersey! I bought a #2 with extra onions and vinegar & oil, I must say they are very accommodating when it comes to customizing. The cold cuts are freshly cut unlike every other Ca eatery. Bonus treat for those who are from the east coast they also had a small selection of Tastykakes at the register. The entire time they were making my sub my mouth was watering. Friendly service for sure it's funny cause they are not that friendly in Jersey I'm from NJ and go there often but here they are. The manager introduced his team to me and you can tell they like working there. On my next visit I'm going to try the Philly Cheese steak. Service was good, but food, less than par... since my review, I have spoke to the Manager, Josh regarding my visit. He was SUPER QUICK to reply about my visit. He was very attentive to what I was saying and suggested a few other menu items to me, since what I originally got, Baja Chicken tub, was not my cup of tea. He told me that if I wanted to give his store another shot, that he'd recommend a few other sandwiches that are better. I'm glad I took him up on his offer!! Ordered a giant grilled pastrami Reuben and was very disappointed , the sandwich was 80% sauerkraut and 20% meat Not worth $14+ for a kraut sandwich I've worked at a deli before and a Reuben is first put on grilled rye with Russian dressing, Swiss cheese , corned beef or pastrami and grilled sauerkraut ... Best sub sandwiches in Tracy. This Jersey Mike's has to be the model for the franchise. Excellent quality of food and friendly service. We eat here once a week and are on the loyalty program, just put in a phone number when you pay and you get rewards points that accumulate for free sandwiches. We would buy the sandwiches anyway, but it's cool to get the loyalty discounts. Best hot subs for Pastrami Reuben and Cheesesteak. I go back and forth between these. He put all the wet produce in a separate container including tiny cups for the oil and vinegar and let me try the various meats again. Just came back to my review today to correct some typos and guess what...i'm still reliving the glory of that sandwich...i wish Modesto had a jersey mikes..i may see if I can recreate that number 4 here. Best subs in the area. My new favorite sub shop. I'm a sandwich guy & I love this place. Fresh sliced meats, & all the fixings. You can get any sandwich on bread, even gluten free bread which is actually tasty. You can get them in wraps, or in a tub, which my wife loves. Their cheesesteaks are off the hook. And their Ruebens are fantastic. The people are really cool, & friendly. I do recommend parking in back & walk around because in front parking is limited, & spaces are tight. read more

Walked in and was greeted very warmly. Have free us plenty of time to look over the menu and even gave us a history of the franchise. Ordered a Large Chipotle Cheese Steak. The bread and the sandwich were very fresh. They weren't cheap on the amount of meat and cheese that they use. We were asked several times if everything was OK. This Jersey Mike's is really great. I've been here quite a few times and it's always been great. The sandwiches are awesome, although they can get a little crazy with the oil and vinegar, even if you say "light on the oil and vinegar." I've made a lot of different choices of sandwiches, and never been disappointed, except when I say light oil and vinegar and have a soggy sandwich by the time I sit down. Doesn't really bring down the experience though. They do have an employee who is nice but really likes to talk. I'm just here to order a sandwich, not go through therapy. Also, ordered some of the catering trays for a birthday party. They made a lot of sandwiches and did not make a mistake, which was nice because we tried to keep a lot of options for everyone.
