8/15/21 - I went to Tracy Mall today looking to buy some new clothes and was very disappointed!!! So, I was hungry too and decided to drive around to see what I could fine. I lucked up on Jersey Mike's!! I always see the advertisement on tv and wondered when I would try one, we don't have one in Stockton. I didn't know what to order and the staff member let me take my time looking at the menu board. I finally made my decision and I ordered the club supreme (#9). That sandwich was amazingly good!!! It hit the spot and you can taste the freshness in every bite. It was very hot outside, so a good, cold sandwich will make you feel good. I felt the prices were good compared to one of the sandwich shops I have gone too, (no it's not subway). We do have a sandwich shop that is well-known and does have good sandwiches, and good prices; but it is a ways from my home. I definitely will return, for more good eats, when I am in Tracy. My son is celiac so we ordered a gluten free sandwich. The person changed their gloves, used parchment paper instead of the cutting board and when we asked for mayo he used a squirt bottle version instead of the knife that touched bread. No acknowledgment while ordering that the employee was getting what I was asking for. Never looked or responded to me. Then he immediately started working with friends of his who were behind me in line; laughing it up with his mates. I paid, and when asked if I wanted a receipt I said "No". I was called to the counter when my order was ready but instead of three sandwiches, there were two. When I mentioned it I was asked for my receipt. I also asked if that was actually a BLT that was placed in my bag. I was assured that it was but had to tell them later that my BLT was missing the L and the T. When I finally got home, another of the sandwiches was made incorrectly. So, two of the three sandwiches I ordered were wrong. I'm sorry, I try not to bitch but, come on! I must say as someone who doesn't eat pork, I deeply appreciate them asking if I'm okay with bacon for every sandwich. There are a lot of places that getting annoyed or snarky about it. The service is always quick and the staff are always so nice. The big kahuna is usually me and my husbands go to (I choose different sandwiches sometimes) but It's so good! There are also vegetarian and vegan options, of course you have to remove things to get to them but they are still there. The veggie sandwich and the mushroom Swiss sandwich are 2 that vegetarian/vegan friendly or can be made vegetarian/vegan. Just ask for the mushroom one with no cheese- but I would suggest asking for light mushrooms and adding jalapeños if you pick this one. The veggie sandwich tastes more like a salad on bread which is what I like. This last time I went, I got the veggie sandwich, mikes way, with no mayonnaise and that one of my favorites. read more

I was pretty excited at this location opening so close to my home after hearing great things from friends and admittedly I wan't as impressed as I had hoped. Sure, the Sandwiches are pretty tasty and it' a good place to come for a quick fix (as opposed to Burger King or Wienerschnitzel doors away) but I wouldn't get too excited at coming here or making a special visit. As for the Sandwiches themselves.. Yes, he Bread is good and filling have some great variations yet a little on the sparse side and the Chicken in the Sandwich I recently picked up for my Husband was tough. I don't know if they get it delivered in by a local supplier or at Costco (had way too many tough chicken experiences there myself) but they maybe need to look into getting a new supplier. Staff are very welcoming and friendly and there's ample amount of inside eating. read more

The name of the place is Jersey Mikes and as the name eludes to, they offer hot Jersey Style Cheese Steak sandwiches along with cold, cold cut ones. Jersey Mikes is nestled between Mel's Diner and Blaze Pizza and if your familiar with the area, you know parking is a challenge. Your best bet is to park on the Walmart side of the restaurant and make the short walk to Jersey Mikes. Now for my thoughts on the #17; The Jersey Mikes Famous Philly. Hot. Tasty. Flavorful and Impressive. Jersey Mikes make their cheese steaks in the traditional way by cooking the steak first then they add cheese on the top so it melts into the meat. Next comes the grilled onions and peppers mixed in. The last step is to toss all that goodness inside of sweet and soft roll. That's it! My first impressions of Jersey Mikes are, they are solid. I decided to pick up a quick lunch on the way home. I used the mobile app and ordered that way. The app said 15 mins for my order. I got there in 20 mins and my order wasn't ready. Told me a few more minutes. A salad and 2 mini subs shouldn't take that long. It wasn't busy in there either. The cashier gal was just kind of standing around. Jersey Mike's is the place to go! I've been going to JM's for years now...but recently my sister told me about the Kahuna Cheese Steak and after trying it I am hooked!! It is so delicious and the flavor is top notch. As a matter of fact, all of there sandwiches are excellent. The staff at this location are very upbeat, friendly, and super patient when trying to decide what you want. The restaurant itself is very clean and they take sanitary cleaning measures very seriously which is nice. This is and will always be my go to sandwich spot! I travel through this area frequently and I've been looking for a new restaurant. I thought that jersey Mike's subs might be the winner after I checked out all the positive reviews. I'm honestly quite surprised that this place is reviewed as well as the sandwiches were pretty nasty. We ordered three different sandwiches some drinks and a couple other desserts. The best thing was their packaged premade dessert. The sandwich rolls are OK but the main problem is that every one of those sandwiches was extremely greasy, almost inedible. Fast food subs has a new contender for the number one spot... Jersey Mike's is a real threat on both fronts with its hot subs and cold offerings. Hot sub are cooked to order and not microwaved... Cold subs need to be made no other way then mike's way. Eaten in store and not suitable for to go is my only problem with theses subs. They get soggy but enjoying them after they are assembled adds to the allure of the sandwich.
