This was the first time trying Jersey Mike's. Dad wanted to try this and asked me to get him an Original Italian. I got it 'Mike Style' and Dad, who is from back east (PA, sorry New Jersey) said it is definitely an East Coast style sandwich. They don't skimp on the toppings and the regular size is more than enough sandwich for a filling meal. Dad enjoyed it quite a bit. I made note of the other options available and will be back to try those myself. (Mum and I were craving pizza, not subs when I made the food run) Dad's only complaint was that his sandwich was a little on the oily side. He said that he'll ask to go easy on the oil next time. I made note of their menu and relayed it to the parents when I got home. Mum is interested in their Philly cheese steak and I want to give the meatball a shot. The staff were very friendly and informative, as this was my first time in there. It was nice to see how orderly and neat the shop was as well. The fact that their menu is minimal is also nice. I was overjoyed when I saw Jersey Mike's was coming to town. No more trips to Danville or Dublin just to get my roast beef Jones on. The place is immaculate and the staff is really friendly. It might be because I pop in one weekends, but it seems like they have a ton of staff. It's kind of fun to be waited on by a legion of people and a real contract to another sandwich chain I will not mention where you are lucky if there are two people there. Everything is fresh, made from quality ingredients, and not skimpy. Plus there are three sandwich sizes, which is great for folks with smaller (or larger) appetites. I just wish the parking was better. The spaces out side are tiny. So if you park next to someone with an SUV you might have to do some serious acrobatics to get into your car. If you can, park in the big lot and walk through the the alleyway between Jersey Mike's and Blaze. It will make for a more serene dining experience. The roast beef and Italian subs are both delicious. I never order anything else, but the fries did look pretty yummy. There are a must try at some future date. read more

Was craving a good sandwich / sub and I wanted to be different since my go to is usually TOGOS. My brother had mentioned Jersey Mike's so I thought I'd give it a shot & booooooy was I glad I went! The place was very clean and the employees were very friendly. They greeted us right away and didn't hesitate to give us recommendations! I did the #56 and it was AMAZING! It was the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak and it had steak, grilled onions, mushrooms, light mayo and extra cheese it did not disappoint! This is easily the best sandwich shop in town. It's got the freshest ingredients, the app and points program makes it easy to order on the go, and the employees are some of the friendliest I've seen in a Jersey Mikes location. Perfect sandwich! I got the turkey provolone and it was so fresh. Bread, meat, cheese and all the fixings. Everything was FRESH! I don't mind paying more for quality. Service was impeccable. I have to say my overall experience was rather less than satisfactory. The staff was excellent and being very helpful. However, I got a #44 and it was okay. The main problem was they do not toast their bread. I've never heard of a sub shop not having the option to toast your bread. I don't know what type of dog and pony show they're running but they need to get a toaster. Overall, left disappointed. read more

I used to always get the meatball sub which was always excellent, but since it didn't make the COVID menu I've been happy to find their normal sandwiches equally delicious. Stopped by Jersey Mike's for the first time a couple nights ago. It was about 10 minutes before closing so we weren't sure if they would greet us or say that they were closing. Surprisingly we were greeted with smiles. The first question was "have you ever been to Jersey Mike's". Since it was our first time there, the gentleman behind the counter gave us the run down of the store. He explained the different sandwiches and even provided us with a few fresh cut samples of meat! This was awesome as we had never tasted some of the meats on the menu. We ordered our sandwiches and watched how they meticulously made them. The sandwiches were awesome! I ate one half "Mike's way" without tomato. The other half I added mustard. The prices of the sandwiches are cheaper than the other sandwich shops around. What really sold me was the customer service! Very polite, respectful and courteous. I will definitely be back to get another sandwich soon. For me its all about customer service. There are other sandwich places in town that I will never give my business too again because of their lack of customer service. We picked up three sandwiches the other day on our first trip to Jersey Mike's. My #17 Philly Cheesesteak was a 6.5 out of 10. I'm pretty tough to please when it comes to Philly Cheesesteaks. This one had a decent overall taste. But the white sub roll was just OK. It was light, rather than substantial (no other bread choices offered). The roast beef was an average portion, shaved thin. It tasted good and was warm. The "melty white American cheese" tasted fine but the consistency was a major turnoff. I prefer regular, slightly melty, sliced provolone. The cheese reminded me of the way nacho cheese sauce is ladled out (although this place uses sliced cheese). Other ingredients: With some detective work, I found minute amounts of super thin grilled onions and a few small cuts of green and red peppers (no generous use of ingredients here). In addition to the basics Jersey Mike's offers, the things I expect in a great Philly Cheesesteak include medium-weight, grilled and buttered bread, cream cheese, sauteed mushrooms, many more peppers and onions, plus some spices. It was pretty disappointing. Other family members had a Meatball and Cheese (#15) and Grilled Pastrami Reuben (#20). Both family members rated the sandwiches at about a 6 to 7. At our house, if something's a 6, it means we never want it again. The person who ordered the #20 also mentioned that they had the large sandwich and easily ate the whole thing. With some places, there are leftovers or a person is very full usually. Also, the whole order was expensive, and they don't give a free cookie. The staff was friendly, sandwiches took about 12 minutes, and it was noisy in there, so you had to raise your voice to order. I would go there again in a pinch, but will continue looking elsewhere. read more

Been meaning to check out Jersey Mike's for some time, and wow, am I glad I did! Mom and I checked it out the other day, and were immediately greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. We told the server that we were new and it might take a while to decide, he said, "Good, that gives me a chance to give you my spiel!" He proceeded to highlight some of the more popular sandwiches and give his recommendations. I chose the Original Italian--5 different meats, provolone and red wine vinegar and olive oil dressing. The sandwich was amazing--heaven on a roll! It was SO TASTY that I called the store back when I got home to tell them it was the best sandwich I'd had in a long time. As another reviewer noted, Togo's was my favorite sandwich shop, but Jersey Mike's now surpasses it. read more
