This is my favorite Italian sandwich shop outside of Little Italy, which so far is the closest to the real Italy that I have been to...lol! There are so many delicious options, and then adding Mike's Way with the red wine vinegar, olive oil and seasonings, gives it that perfect Italian flavor. So far I've only gotten the cold subs, but they have a good amount of hot ones that I will have to try soon. The #8 Club Sub is my usual with ham, turkey & bacon, but today I tried the #9 Club Supreme made with roast beef, turkey & bacon. All of their meats and cheeses are fresh and sliced right there in front of you. I ordered on the app and it was ready right at the time it stated. I've already earned enough points for a free regular and mini sandwich, and then you get a free regular sub on your birthday. Some days are double points days, and occasionally they'll send a coupon. But coupon or not, these sandwiches are worth every penny! read more

Got the veggie (reg size) and it definitely was enough for 2 people if neither of you is suuuper hungry. Called today at 10:50 AM to hopefully have a sub catering box ready ASAP. They said they would need an hour, so I decided to do individual sandwiches. I got 8 sandwiches and it was ready in 20 mins. Not even a big line they messed up my hot sandwiches and had to remake them. I watched every incorrect Jersey Mikes cooking technique on the grill I could imagine didn't do the 4 x 4 x 4 x 4 method he let the bread sit with the food in it on top of the grill for 3 to 4 minutes after the sandwich was complete drying out the bread and eliminating any chance for me to enjoy it(as they were scrambling to find a new wrapping paper !!!I bought three giant sandwiches my 56 extra meat is an absolute terrible sandwich, which is very sad!! Just dropped $65 on one good sandwich and two very poorly made sandwiches. Instructions were not followed. I will not be coming back. Please train people if they're going to be on the grill.( Manager watch him on tape how he cuts the bread and performs the grill duties you have six people working and the curly haired guy wanted to be hanging out in the back didn't wanna be assisting on the line I thought that was very odd. JM's, like another guy named Mike from New Jersey, hits home runs (with their sandwiches) even though their many sandwich choices don't include trout. Not surprisingly, the best sandwich I've had there is the Philly Cheesesteak. I like to have it with just the steak and cheese, although you can get grilled onions and peppers if you like. Their other subs that I've had there are good, as well. Although there are named sandwich combos, you could make whatever combo of meats you might want. There service is always pleasant and courteous. If you do an online order, it's likely that your order will be ready in less than the estimated time. Parking can be challenge in this often congested shopping center, so be aware. Overall, a well-run sandwich place, that performs at an All-Star level. read more

Our return visit was better. The beef much better than the chicken in the big Kahuna. Service is nice and food made to order quickly. Easy to call in and just pick up a hen you are ready to avoid the wait. Prices are higher than other sub shops, but I also feel the quality is a bit better. I do wish they had more veggie options, but as long as my husband enjoys the cheesesteak here, I'll be back to get them for him. read more

I was so disappointed. I had had Jersey mike before, but a friend brought it to me so I thought we would go visit a Jersey mike because it sounded so good. We walked into the store and it was filthy. There were three workers, and they were just standing around. There was food dried on the counter, not even cleaned, there was butcher paper on the cold case covering it up ! Bread crumbs everywhere. It looked a little scary to eat the food then I noticed by the soda machine there were flyers coming out of that. I'm curious to visit other stores to see what they look like. I don't understand why it's not working. Yesterday was 94 degrees in Tustin & if felt like 96 degrees inside of Jersey Mike's. Great experience at a fast food "sub" shop. If you're from the east coast you might say Hoagie. Parking is tight in a concave curved strip mall setting so you might have to walk a little. And once you get inside you'll be greeted well. My visit was to cash in on my birthday free sub and soft drink. Having had several of the subs I asked "which one is the best?" And was recommended, since it was a birthday sub, to have the Big Kahuna. Definitely a good choice it's basically a sub with beef and everything on a large wheat roll. Very well cooked and served to go ... but before warned, it's a little messy so keep it in the paper wrap as are you eating it. Generally Jersey Mike's has excellent pricing for good food. My experience is most locations are friendly and competent, this one is no exception. Well recommended, we will return. read more

I love the fact I can order the food online and have it ready in 20 minutes. It helps because the parking at this location can be bad. There's 15 minute parking in front of the store, but it doesn't seem that people heed to the sign, or maybe its all the customers from Kean next door. I first tried JM in Florida, loved it so much I found one across from the Main Place Mall in the Barnes and Noble center. I was doing errands and yelped this location, went online to place my order, and at noon, picked up my food within 5 minutes. The sandwiches at the 2 OC locations and the Florida locations have been spot on. My go-to sandwich is the Original Italian. I don't even get the regular but the MINI sized ones because its actually quite filling. They're generous with the meats compared to Subway (ironic they're across the street) and their breads are crunchy on the outside, but soft inside. This location is small. A few tables outside, and a handful of tables inside. Its not really a place to dine in. Sandwich with chips set me back $6.75, and since its a Pepsi place, I dash down the street to McD's for my coca cola product. 4 stars for today's lunch. read more

I'm a big fan of big and tasty sandwiches. Jersey Mike's fills that segment admirably. The regular sandwiches are 8 inches while the large sandwiches are roughly 15 inches. There is no shortage of filling, and the bread is super soft and fresh. The best part (compared to Subway) is the fact the meat is raw, and grilled fresh to order. I noticed it is frozen meat, so it's not perfect, but this quality is a massive step-up from Subway. The quality is higher, but so is the price. A large cooked sandwich will easily cost $15, which is a lot considering it is only a sandwich, and chips and drinks are extra. If I want a quick and large meal to comfort me after a tough day at work, I'd always consider Jersey Mike's a strong contender for my hard-earned money. read more

Learned today that is anything you want in a salad version. I got the pastrami ruben as a wrap with the sundried tomato wrap. This was incredibly tasty. I had a last minute work meeting that I needed to get lunch for and being close by I figured why not. I stopped in around lunch time and told the manager on duty, Jose I think his name was, what my situation was and he made a couple suggestions on what I could get for about 10 people. I ended up getting four Giant Subs. I did mention to him that a handful of my team were kind of picky eaters and he suggested I just leave some ingredients (mayo, mustard, dressing, those kinds of things) on the side for those that wanted them. I was in and out pretty quick, considering I asked for a semi-large order last minute. Araceli and Luis were great too, they even walked my order out to me on the floor when it was done. When customizing, they are quite generous -- no stingy counting or tiny pinches here! Ordering "Mike's Way", with that oil, vinegar, and seasonings make the flavor difference for us! I appreciate having 3 sandwich size --and price -- options and being able to customize my order. I've only had their cold sandwiches, to date (already I have a "go-to", their #14 adding mayo and 2 types of peppers).
