I was in the area on an errand and stopped in here, because I am almost always ready for a sub, and Jersey Mike's is a favorite. I ordered a #99, which is a #56 (Big Kahuna sub) with chipotle mayo on the side as well as Mike's "juice"! And I added extra jalapeños and banana peppers. And of course, salt, pepper, and oregano. The base for the sub is sliced steak, grilled white onions, green pepper, mushrooms, jalapeños, plenty of white American cheese. This was always gonna be two meals for me, so I cut it in half, added some of the mayo and some of the "juice", and I was ready to eat. This is a righteous sandwich, loaded with layers of flavor and texture. I don't get this sub all that often because it is so big - though if you get the mayo and juice on the side, it will carry over very well to the next day. read more

Today we ordered from JM like we usually do from time to time. My roommate ordered with his app. Everything was going well until I got halfway done with my Hot Italian sub. I took a bite and I noticed what turned out to be plastic casing, and not just once but 4 times for me and once with my roommate. They seem to be plastic rinds from the deli meat that was sliced. See attached pictures. My roommate called the store and a young girl answered and he asked to speak to the manager and was told he wasn't there and that she would take a message for the time he came in. He told her the problem and she paused and asked "What do you want us to do about it" of which my roommate proceeded to tell her that maybe something should be done about it that the next person might die from the plastic being ingested and could kill someone. She then stated she would pass along the message to the Manager when he comes in! It might be a while before we'll order from there again. read more

That rosemary bread is just a game changer! For this trip I picked up the Mike's chicken Philly on rosemary bread. It was excellent! Props to the staff for handling busy well. They were moving the line quicker by separating hot and cold sandwich orders. It was busy and they were rocking it. read more

I went to the Jersey mikes on Hanes mall blvd on 3/15/26 and had a very bad experience for the first time. First of all I am one to politely ask to change there gloves because I hv no idea as to how long they hv been wearing them. Second, I told the guy what bread I wanted, well I noticed that they needed to refill the mayonnaise container. Next he asked the lady behind me what did she want on her sandwich, so instead of asking me who was first, he put the last little bit of mayonnaise on her sandwich which left none for me and probably knew they were out and I'm in front of her.Meanwhile I'm still waiting to be asked. Then the girl who did the fixings ask me what would I like on my sandwich and she goes to the back and comes back to the front to tell me they are out of mayonnaise. Totally unexceptable. If you know your low in whatever, they could hv gone to Cosco or Sams or even another jersey mikes for that matter, not to mention you might want to inform the customer before they cut the meat. Granted, I hv mayonnaise at home but if I'm paying for it to be made right, then that what I want. Needless to say i left. Customer service is difinitly not what it used to be and to me the whole situation was unexceptable! I also want to add that I am a rewards customer. read more

I wish I could rate ZERO stars. I never ever leave reviews. But here we are. Worst service ever. The woman we attempted to order from got an attitude as soon as I ordered a gluten free sub. She asked if it was an allergy or a preference. I stated it was an allergy. She very rudely said "huh?" I stated more loudly that it was an allergy. She then yelled at me saying that I don't have to get an attitude with her and touched her ears saying she could not hear. My husband did not appreciate the way I was spoken to and immediately said we'd go somewhere else. She then said "good. BYE!" We went to walk out and I asked my husband to return to ask for her name. She shouted across the establishment "that's fine you can ask for my name all you want. Go write it on that little review all you want. I don't care." A man sitting with his family looked to his partner and said "see I told ya" I asked if she was rude to them too. He shook his head yes. My husband was unable to accurately understand the name. He said he heard Henya or Kenya. Or something like that. I will be calling to speak with a manager. There aren't many options to safely eat GF and I was so excited to try it. Won't be back. EVER. First of all she's rude. Second, she touched her ears and then was going to prepare my food? I think not. This woman should be fired for treating someone with an allergy so rudely just because she doesn't want to take the extra time to prepare a gluten free item. There were several GF orders she was preparing. I truly believe this was the issue. I'm appalled at the way I was treated. I've never been treated so poorly in my life. read more

I've been eating at Jersey Mike's for several decades now, as the restaurant chain has a reputation for delicious sandwiches made from quality ingredients. In other words, it's what Subway ought to be. This location makes the grade in terms of quality. The staff gets orders right, turns out sandwiches in a timely fashion, and keeps the eatery clean. So why just three stars, you ask? It's because Jersey Mike's has elevated their prices to a level that's pushing me away. For comparable costs I can get a nice meal at a sit-down restaurant, with table service and all. Come to think of it, I could probably get high quality meats, bread, and condiments at Publix for less money if I'm willing to build the sandwiches myself. If you're willing to hand over the $, the sandwiches at JM's are good. But I'm not convinced they're a good value anymore. read more

This place did not do it for me, there are similar places which are far better. Firstly, I ordered online for collection. At time I was given for collection - it said it was "ready for pick up" I went in, and it was in fact no where near ready I was told. In fact it exceeded 45 minutes before my order was ready, and that was by me explaining how long I had to wait. It was terrible service honestly. They had so many members of staff behind the counter - but appeared like only one server was making the sandwiches - and painstakingly slow at that too. It was unbearable to watch after having to wait that long! So from placing the order I waited a total of 1.5 hours... that's insane honestly. I figured it would be worth it in the end seeing as I see people going here often. Erm... that was far from the truth. I ordered the tuna sandwich with all the veg inside, it tasted only of salt & pickle juice - nothing else. Even the tuna did not taste good. In fact the tuna when tasted alone - seemed off. It was such a disaster of an experience. Never again am I coming here! On a side note - the packaged cookies were the only good thing... I am only giving four stars because this location still isn't allowing inside eating during the COVID pandemic and to me that's insane. Today was my first time trying Jersey Mike's and I have to say I LOVED every delicious bite. The quality and freshness of the ingredients are a wonderful new experience. Hands down the best sub I have ever had. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch and my husband had The Famous Philly. We ordered online and my husband went in to pick it up. It was Christmas Eve about 12:30pm and he said the gentleman that waited on him was so friendly and welcoming. The entire experience was 5 star. read more

Have always liked JM subs over all others. Visited the University avenue location most of the time and it was always good. This location opened a while ago and since it is much closer to home I have tried it several times and am not impressed. A couple of times the bread was not baked long enough and today my tuna sub was a big disappointment. Soggy and dripping with either water or oil-not sure. Can't stand a soggy bun so didn't finish this one. Wife's turkey sub had so little meat that it could pass for a Veggie sub. Time to move on to another location or JJ's. read more

Placed order online. Order was to be ready at 11:05am. Order was finally handed to me at 11:25. Drive home with four sandwiches, two of which were club subs. Neither club subs had bacon. One club was to have banana peppers. One was to have pickles. Neither club sub was accurate. The hot sub was cold by the time I had a chance to eat it since I had to drive 20+ minutes to have the sandwiches remade. I love Jersey Mike's. They way out do Sub Way in my opinion. They are a bit more pricey but they do offer great savings on particular days and if you earn enough points you can get a free sub. The Univesity location always has a great fun crew working there and they keep the place pretty clean. read more

I used to go to another one that finally closed down and stopped going even though it was close to home cause staff was so horrible and rude and was so glad to see this one open and with a really nice staff. this new place is so much better than the old one, I now go here once or twice a week for a sub.
