Nothing new to add. Except, this location is my regular place for sandwiches. They're fresh, delicious, and inexpensive. Best of all, the staff is always friendly and great. Forget going to other sub places for your hoagies; this is the place to eat.

Toppings are on the wrapper, not the sandwich

On a tight lunch schedule and ordered carry out? CHECK IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Mayo, brown lettuce, and a single squishy tomato slice - all NOT on the sandwich. Really? PLUS we were shorted an item we paid for. This location isn't what it was pre-COVID. Hard to justify giving them another chance when it seems we get what we ordered 20% of the time, and slop the other 80%.

I honestly did not want this sandwich but it was given to me so I was thankful. Had a rough day and hadn't eaten so Jersey Mike's it was. I got a Philly and it was very hot but I just don't care for Jersey Mike's sandwiches to be honest with you. I won't personally go here but if one is brought to me I will eat it.

I enjoy the fact that you can order online and pick the food up quickly. They have a great selection of meats and they are all fresh cut as you order. Staff is courteous and fast.

What a disappointment. I'm not sure what happened here…read more I get it. They were busy on Memorial Day Sunday. People are off. They are getting all their stuff together for their bbq. Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

If we lived closer, we would buy a lot of items here more frequently. The first time my wife and I stopped in, we ended up talking to one of the employees, who was so nice, gave us his recommendations, and even offered us a sample of the Cavallari Chicken Salad. Immediately sold! It was so good, we turned around and ordered the large tub. Their chicken salad is one of the best I have ever had. It is full of chicken, celery and onion. The other item my wife always has to pick up are their Italian cookies. They are from a local baker, and are so delicious. Look for them near the register. Overall I would highly recommend checking them out. We will visit every time we are in the area, but I would suggest trying them out. Get the chicken salad! Don't skip on it! ACES!

I stopped in after doing some shopping and placed my order online so it would be ready by the time I finished. I ordered the chicken club sandwich and a Dream Bar. It was after 8 p.m. on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty much empty. My order was ready ahead of the quoted pickup time, which I appreciated. However, the sandwich didn't quite live up to what I remember. The bread didn't taste as fresh as I expected, and the sandwich was lukewarm instead of warm and toasty like I've experienced at other locations. The Dream Bar was also not quite what I remembered. It didn't have the same richness or taste that made it a favorite for me in the past. I'm not sure if the time of day impacted the quality, but the overall experience just didn't match the Potbelly I remember from Chicago. Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.
