The first time we visited, we sat outdoors and I think it was an off night for the restaurant. 3 weeks ago, we thought to give it another shot and I ordered the mezza platter for pick up. It was much better experience and I think my Dad enjoyed trying the different appetizers. Today, we ordered the mezza platter with hummus, baba ganoush, cucumber and yogurt and dolma. We also ordered the gyro platter. The meat was slightly too salty and the Greek salad seems a little wilted. read more

Standouts: labneh that was hands-down the best I've ever tasted (ultra-creamy with a clean, tangy finish), super-silky hummus, bright, balanced dolmas, crisp-outside/fluffy-inside falafel, and well-seasoned kibbeh. My parents visit Jerusalem grill for lunch every now and then, but I've never had the chance to go with them. When someone suggested we order from there at a recent girls night (for delivery), I was excited to finally get the chance! With there being 5 of us, we ordered the "Mixed for Six" option, an order of the falafel and an order of pita. The "Mixed for Six" comes with 9 skewers, 9 appetizers and rice. My thoughts on the order is below: - 9 Skewers (3 Beef, 3 Lamb, 3 Chicken): Looked fantastic and came with grilled vegetables mixed in. I tried each of the meats, but they seemed to have been sitting for too long and were a bit dry/overcooked. Of the three, the lamb was the best. I was surprised that they did not come as skewers, but rather a large tray of them all mixed together. - 9 Appetizers (Tzatziki Sauce, 4 Jerusalem Salads, 2 Hummus, Grilled Vegetables, Greek Salad): The tzatziki sauce & hummus were on the basic side and not some of the better ones I have tasted. The Jerusalem salad and Greek salad were refreshing and lite. The grilled vegetables were good as well, but needed to be re-heated. - Falafel: Sadly, these were pretty dry and not something I would reorder. Even dipped in the sauce/ hummus... it wasn't my favorite. - Pita Bread: Actually some of the best pita I have had. It was extremely soft, hot and tasted very fresh. If the other food matched the quality of this- it would've been a 5 star. - Rice: Really not something you can go wrong with... it's basic. This did arrive hot and fresh which is good. Overall, the menu options are great but the food itself wasn't impressive. I would not return or be interested in ordering from here again. read more

Unfortunately, this was not a favorable visit. Last night's dinner of grilled lamb kabob and fatoush salad tasted like it was sitting there for some time and not freshly cooked at all. There was minimal time delay from the time I ordered until the time that I arrived for pick up so that couldn't be the reason why the lamb was unseasoned, dry, tough to chew and hard to touch. The rice and naan were cold as well. It appeared to be the last bit of food to push out so the restaurant doesn't waste money. Although others may have had a better experience, it's not enough for me to try again. read more

Went for lunch and there was people but was moving along nicely. Friendly service, attentive as well. Pita came out right away, toasty warm and fresh made, together with a paprika feta dipping oil that was good enough to drink lol Ordered the falafel sandwich (pita roll) and hummus on the side that was just delicious! Of course I slathered hummus on the pita roll and made it even better. They offered us another fresh made pita and honestly it was hard to say no lol.. The food is full of fresh flavor and filling. I love the pita bread they bring out to dip in hummus or olive oil. I had the shawarma and would recommend it for a nice lunch. Second time here, came right before Christmas with the fam and it was so good that we had to run back. All you can eat warm pita bread, the hummus is on point. This time we got the appetizer Mezza platter (pick 4) we got the hummus, Baba Ghanoush, taziki and fried cauliflower. The hubs got the gyro and I got the Beef Shawarma. Nice place! Seating consists of cushy benches and long tables which were surprisingly comfortable. The waiters are a bit curt/no fuss, but quick and generous with the pita. The hummus is yummy and a small will do ya. The salad that comes on the platter is topped with a light but scrumptious dressing and goat cheese. It also has a perfect amount of black olives. The service was good and the employees are friendly. My gyro was not really hot. Didn't get my onions that I asked for. Only one piece of tomato and there was lettuce on it. Didn't know there was lettuce on it and am not used to that. I had a "greek" salad with it, but there was no Greek to it. Iceberg lettuce, regular black olives, no peppercini peppers, and regular out of the bottle Italian dressing. Didn't eat much of it. Cook wasn't wearing a mask. I do like the menu options. Excellent! My husband and I shared the dinner for 2 and got lamb, beef, and chicken kabobs plus three appetizers (that are basically sides). Everything was delicious and we loved combining them in different ways with the meats and veggies and warm fresh pita bread! We really liked the Zaatar Feta dish which complimented the meat very well. The roasted red pepper dip was also delicious and offered something spicy to add to our pitas. It was also not too red peppery - my husband and I usually avoid roasted red peppers, but this was the best version we've ever had. I highly recommend for good middle eastern food! They also have more Americanized versions of foods and kids options! We will definitely be back whenever that need for pita and dips kicks in! read more

The food was delicious. I ordered an appetizer platter that had four choices. I chose tabouli, hummus, grilled vegetables and dolmades. When the server brought our food, there were no dolmades. We sat there for about 10 minutes before our server came by and I told him that we did not get our dolmades. He said, oh, so you want an order of dolmades? No, I said, the dolmades that I ordered on the appetizer plate did not come with the appetizer plate. We waited another 10 minutes for him to bring the dolmades. Only once did he come back to our table. A couple of other servers did stop and ask if we were OK. We told them yes. We finished our appetizer and waited ten minutes before I got up from the table to ask another server (ours was nowhere to be found) for gyros. We were in the restaurant for approximately 40 minutes eating. It was apparent that we were finished, because we had cleared our plates and put them together on the side of the table. Several servers walked back and forth beside us and never asked to get us a check. One server did ask if we wanted to go box and we said yes, and the check. He brought the to go box but not the check and we never saw him again. We looked over to a table and our server was sitting at the table eating. We waited another 15 minutes and still did not get a check. Finally, we just added up the charges and left money on the table. It is a shame the service was dismal because the food was good. I've tried the chicken and beef shawarma, chicken kabob (chunks of boneless chicken meat) sandwiches. The fries that you can add as a side are like the British chips that come with fish and chips. So so good. I can't speak highly enough of the flavors and moistness of the meat served in the sandwiches. Garlic sauce for the win as well. It's nice to finally eat somewhere where the meat is well seasoned and there's actual chunks instead of dry slices. I hope they never change on the quality and quantity on their menu items. Looking forward to ordering again in the future. I ordered and paid via their website and did pickup. My husband said when he arrived at the restaurant there was no in front but he saw our order ready and grabbed it. This was close to closing time around 9:45. This was perfect, simply put. My friend recommended me this place and I was in the mood for a gyro and it did not disappoint. The lamb was excellent, and they give you some pita with oil and feta as a starter like chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant, that alone is super good, we were filling up on that. The service was FAST and you can see the cooks at work and all the meat rotating in the back. When my food came out, I was given a generous portion, the salad was very fresh, the fries were good, but the gyro itself was one of the best I've had and tzatziki sauce was so creamy and fresh I loved it ! It's my new favorite. My mom got kabobs and she usually eats small portions but this was so good she finished nearly all of it and she was crazy about the lamb kabob it was so tender and packed with flavor. The smoothies we ordered tasted fresh and non processed. The atmosphere itself was very inviting, they have paintings of Jerusalem and music playing from there in the background. Came to celebrate my friend's birthday. She choose this place, it's her favorite. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were giving an amazingly hot naan bread and dipping oil. We ordered appetizers while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. Everything looked, smelled, and tasted great. The only thing I would criticize was the fact that they gave us the appetizers with no utensils to eat it with. It took us about ten minutes to flag someone down to get them.
