The bread with dipping sauce was very good. However, I ordered the shrimp and swordfish skewers and they were overcooked and dried out.

4.5/5 Service is pretty quick although not super attentive. Interior is large and spacious--plenty of seats. The food here is so good and portions are HUGE. They have complimentary naan that comes hot and fresh--my favorite part. We got the beef shawarma which was a tad dry but super flavorful. The salad, pickled beet, and banana pepper were so refreshing with the dish. The beef kabob was also on the drier side, but the chicken kebab was moist and delicious. Will be returning! read more

I have taken so many friends to this place that the wait staff knows me! Everything that they serve at this restaurant is authentic and delicious. You can watch the chefs prepare items from the dining room. My friends and I have tried the kofta, the Shawarma chicken, the gyros and the naan bread with the spiced oil they serve it with. Everything was cooked to perfection and I never hesitate to invite my friends to meet me there because I know they won't be disappointed by the food. read more

12 Jun 2023 Yum. We were across the street (Loop 1604) at a dermatologist. While waiting for the husband, I saw this place. When he was finally done, I suggested we go eat there and ride out the sucky traffic. I had the shawarma mix (sliced beef and chicken, salad, hummus, rice and a pepper). Husband had the lamb kebab plate with all the same sides as my plate. We were treated to a large tandoor bread and dipping sauce before the meal. It was of course baked fresh and was freakin' soft and delicious. Both plates were very tasty. One man was taking care of the few occupied tables and doing a great job. Several other men work the open kitchen. They do a bang up to-go business. Many bags staged for pick-up. Go there. read more

This was my first time here and was a okay experience. The service could be a lot more friendlier. If my memory serves me well, there was no lunch menu so paid a bit more than anticipated. Food was good. I could eat the flat bread all day as it is very delicious. The food was decent overall and fulfilling. My table and chair was a red wooden bench so that should tell you about the interior. The interior and layout was weird to me. When you enter, what appears to be the front, was a food station where the food was being prepared. Interior was underwhelming. read more

We were trying to decide where to eat when we passed by this restaurant. The parking was good and it wasn't too busy. We went about lunch time on a Friday. When we walked in we were greeted and seated immediately. We made it there before the crowd started coming in. The place was clean and spacious. The guy who seated us was very nice and gave us a minute to look at the menu. He brought out some naan and an oil dipping sauce which was so good! Then brought out another piece of the naan and said it was a fresher piece. The naan was perfect!! We both decided to order the gyros (beef and lamb) with a side of fries. We also ordered some hummus as an appetizer. The hummus was so creamy and delicious. My gyro delicious and it came wrapped in pita bread with lettuce and tomato and a side of tzatziki sauce. The meat was seasoned very well and tastes so good! As we were sitting there enjoying our food and conversation one of the staff brought us over a dessert that had fresh strawberries and Dubai chocolate I believe. He said it was on the house. Went here for lunch looking for a healthy fresh alternative. This place was a gem find. Service was great. Not very busy at 11:30 when I went. The humus was the best I have ever had, and I've eaten a lot of humus. It was so incredibly creamy and flavorful with a nice zing to it. The lentil soup was nice and thick with rich flavor and perfectly seasoned. The tabouli salad was not my favorite. I found it was minced super finely and lacking in texture for its mince and lacked some flavor in my opinion. I had the lamb stuffed meatballs but these too were not what I was expecting. They were nicely fried and crispy but the ground up lambs flavor was lost to the breading and not something I would try again, they weren't bad, just not my fave. This place was a little pricey for lunch, but worth it for the freshness. read more

I'm a greek food lover through and through, and it seems like Jerusalem Grill does it best. They have very authentic mediterranean food, which was absolutely delicious for the price. I got the appetizer sampler and tried the Jerusalem salad, grape leaves, Zaatar oil and grilled veggies. The Zaatar oil was so good, I wish I could have some in my fridge at all times. Paired with their fresh pita... It's beyond words. The grape leaves were really good too, and the filling is very flavorful. The veggies were okay, nothing special. The togo service was pretty fast too, although they forgot the Turkish coffee, which takes kind of awhile to brew. But other than that everything was great. Definitely worth a try for some authentic Mediterranean food. read more

We don't visit this restaurant enough! The service is always fast and friendly and the food always matches it. Obviously, you can see how fresh the food is since it's all laid out in the back of the restaurant just waiting to be sliced and portioned out for you. I typically order the beef and chicken kebab plate with the appetizers and it's such a filling meal without the bloating or making you feel like you ate too much food. We've been several times recently and enjoy the family atmosphere and staff friendliness. The restaurant feels family owned (I think it is) and service is very personable. This is my go to order spot. The kebab plate is my favorite! I am very picky with hummus ( grew up in Detroit) and theirs is always so good. Their bread is ridiculously good, shawarma wraps are fresh, flavorful and juicy, their rice is always legit. Their rice brings back memories of eating at an Arabic friend's house growing up. The pickles?? Shut up give me more! The fattoush salad, omg I died and went to Paradise and honestly their Greek is the best hands down in the city. Everything you could want in a meal. We got the falafel plate and a fattoush salad to share. Fattoush was good but I thought the dressing was a little sweet. Other than that, it was perfection. The falafel were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside, flavor was great. The hummus is one of the best I've ever had and the dolma were good, too. The only negative was that it was freezing cold in the restaurant on the night we visited. I'll happily return anytime. Or they could build one closer to my home, we would love to have one in the SF Bay area read more

Plenty of seating inside, and parking outside. I liked seeing the pictures of Israel surrounding the dining area. The servers were down to business, not overly friendly but attentive. Went to try out this restaurant because it was recommended because we enjoyed a similar restaurant. For my father's day lunch, I chose this place because I was curious and wanted a gyro. First and foremost, the entire staff is super friendly and you can tell everyone was busting their respective butts making sure everyone was attended to. I ordered the gyro platter and my wife ordered the lamb kabob platter. For appetizers I had the small plate of grape leaves and my wife the small plate of mushrooms. Everything came fresh and well seasoned. The Naan was also great. We enjoyed everything. Even the rice was very well done and tasty. For dessert. Oh my. Of course we had to try out the baklava. There was another dessert that we tried which was the sweet cheese and shredded dough served warm. It was a tasty treat that was pretty new to me and I really enjoyed that as well. To put it plainly, this restaurant has the taste of a home cooked meal, which is great. This place was great! The service was a little slow but they were short staffed. The food was absolutely amazing. The Tabouleh was great, the baba ghanoush was awesome, and the lamb was cooked to perfection. The meal they have for four people and over breakdown of $25 each was great. They give you a couple different samples of the appetizer and the main dish as well as some pita bread and a generous helping of the Taziki sauce. The atmosphere was great, very laid-back and chill. They didn't have any beer for sale but they had a fridge full of Coke products. I was looking for a mediterranean spot and this was what I came up with it's probably one of the better ones I've been to yet. 9/10 read more

I'm thrilled JG opened a location off of 1604 and Blanco Rd, much than their first location. I've had a few dishes here and have enjoyed them all. My favorite is the Beef & Lamb Gyro Sandwich with a side of Tzatziki sauce. Their naan bread is top notch, falafel is fantastic and I always order at least 2 extra. The servers are all polite but it's not consistent, have to wait a while if you need anything but the food is fantastic. read more

Really enjoyed the complimentary homemade bread with dipping sauce. The bread was soft and airy, good flavor. Ordered the chicken/beef kebob plate and the gyro salad. Hubby enjoyed his kebob plate- meat was not dry, smooth hummus, and flavorful basmati rice. Came with a nice salad. I loved the gyro salad. Large size with plenty of veggies and gyro meat. I'm not a fan of Mediterranean food but I went along with my family members who do like it. The food was not bad at all so we were all happy until it came time to pay. One of us had ordered a salad plus a gyro sandwich. He was brought a salad with gyro meat in it. When we pointed it out to the waiter he said no problem but at the end he never credited us for the meat. We ordered some extra pepperoncinis and they charged $7 for 3 peppers. They charged $7 each for 2 servings of bread we never asked for. We thought it must be complimentary because he just brought it out. I can see 1 mistake being made but this was obviously done intentionally, and I would even say maliciously. We felt cheated and this ruined the entire occasion. First thing I noticed when my family and I walked into the restaurant was how clean it was. No dirty sticky floors , no funny smells, the ladies restroom was clean. The service was very quick. I like that there's many servers being attentive to your dinning experience. We had beef and chicken kabob plates. They were served with hummus , rice, and salad. The portions were abundant and they don't skimp . They serve complimentary Nan bread freshly baked with a delicious olive oil blend spices and feta cheese--- so good.
