Pinakbet. Perfectly cooked!

Only because of this takeout order. I love the food always but do I need to cut my own veggies? Let's stop being lazy. The taste is the same and good but if it has to work its way through a large piece of bitter melon then not ok. Just make a little more effort

Thelma's another of my favorites to go eat Filipino food been going there for years food is always good and service is great sometimes it's busy only problem is the parking I like their pork adobo omelette with side Dinaguan, my wife likes the Arroz Caldo and the chicken soup with Paria leaves It's a good place to eat at

Lots of free parking but come early as this complex is busy! Lots of variety of Filipino dishes to choose from. The Ates/Manangs are super sweet and attentive to what you want to order. Lots of tables to satisfy your party- big or small. We had a plethora of dishes from pancit (noodles) to soups. Come eat and satisfy your Filipino food cravings!!

Stopped in a few minutes after they opened. Greeted & served promptly. Everything was tasty! Just the right amount of seasonings in every dish. Friendly service, fair prices.

Located at Leeward Shopping Center on the Diamond side or right side facing the complex, parking lots for all tenants, so lunch hours it is hard to find parking and some street parking. I ordered the Lechon Kawali which was very good with lots of good size chucks of Lechon and lots of tomatoes and onion. It also comes with rice. I really enjoyed their style and the flavor was also good. My wife ordered the 3 choice plate and she said it was good, but more on the salty side and the mongo beans were over cooked and mushy. Service was good and staff friendly! Restroom only 1 for men & women

My best friend is in town from Maryland and was craving Filipino meal so we headed to Thelma's for dinner! Our server, Ate Daisy, is the bomb!!! She's super friendly, attractive and love that she can carry conversations not only with us but among other dinner customers! She's a keeper! We ordered 12 pieces Pork Shanghai Lumpia. You can choose to eat by itself or with sweet chili sauce or spicy vinegar sauce. Either way, it's made crispy and flavorful. Yummm! We ordered for our main dishes -- Pork sisig, boneless marinated milkfish (bangus), pork adobo, blood stewed meat (dinuguan), pinakbet and mongo beans. Oh and must've have, steamed rice! I'm pretty Asian so I need my staple food, rice! ;) Each dishes were seasoned well and it totally hit the spot specially for my beat friend who's been wanting to eat Filipino food. For our dessert, we got Halo-Halo Special and Banana Lumpia Special with Ube Ice Cream. Both were delicious and sweetened our taste buds! We're happy. Our tummy is happy. If you're looking for an Ilocano Filipino dish, Thelma's Restaurant is the place to be. You'll definitely have the kanak attack action! I hope you meet Ate Daisy because she's the best Filipino server I've encountered! Thank you, Ate Daisy! Thank you for reading my review. Have a great weekend!

My go to for Filipino food on Oahu. Love coming here! Their food is ALWAYS tasty. Service is always quick and friendly and the place is always clean. Tried the banana lumpia with ice cream for the first time and it was delicious! I always recommend this place and will always come back.

Ordered uber eats from this place and got their 3 choices plate that came with Thelma's special, chicken adobo, and pinakbet. Yummy!

We ordered two three-choice plates. I got mine with pancit, dinuguan, and Thelma's special, plus another plate to share. We also got a side of Shanghai lumpia and adobo fried rice. The prices were extremely reasonable for the huge portions. I couldn't even finish my plate and still had half left to take home! The food tasted homey and comforting, like a real home-cooked meal. The adobo fried rice was flavorful and the lumpia was crispy and tasty. There was no wait, and everything came out fresh and hot. Definitely a place I'd come back to for delicious Filipino comfort food and generous portions!

Great service, delicious Filipino food. Family like setting. Definitely returning with family & friends. I highly recommend Thelma's special.

Well, they were a bit busy at noon - lunch time. 10 minutes later, finally can order (server looked a bit flustered). My husband made the order. 2 - 3 choice. I was really looking forward to having that combo of pinakbet, lechon, and mungo beans. Nope, not a chance. I hate DINUGUAN! I'm sure if I was raised on it... of all things to mistakenly place on the plate.‍ My husband was very happy to eat it, but gave up some of the lechon. Nice guy. Busy or not, this should NOT have happened! I'm rather miffed, but I guess it is what it is. Will I come back? Maybe, maybe not. Should've gone to the other choice Food was okay.

Dad and Adaline enjoying lunch!.

Guarantee it's a flawless strategy that guarantees you will not need to look at food again until dinner time. I panicked a little when management changed earlier this year but the transition was seamless. They added new goodies but kept the classics exactly the same. Everyone here is fantastic, but Krystal is the undisputed MVP. It does come as a single link, but it's perfectly portioned for an average breakfast and leaves you feeling full and satisfied without being overly heavy. My husband ordered the country fried chicken and really enjoyed it. The portion size on his plate was especially generous. Of course, we had to try the pancake flight--it was delicious and just the right amount. I love having a variety without feeling overwhelmed. One small note: I ordered a regular drip coffee and found the price a bit steep $5, especially since it only includes one refill--so definitely be sure to ask for it to get your money's worth. Overall, this is a spot we'll absolutely keep coming back to!

Fast Forward to this past weekend, the Husband and I wanted a simple breakfast after the gym and Rocky's had popped into my head. Definitely a staple in the Waipahu community, this cozy coffee shop sits on Waipahu Depot Street right outside of the Waipahu Festival Market. The area can get ridiculously busy so if you can, park on the street instead of in the Lot. You will have a hard time getting in and out once the surrounding Businesses open. I'm assuming where you're sitting will determine the type of Service you get. We sat at the Counter, and while we were very entertained with watching them cook orders, we were a bit neglected by the Staff, while the parties at the regular tables were presented with friendlier and more patient Servers. We waited over 15mins to get our order taken and since I guess they thought we were regulars they kept rushing to take our orders while we weren't given Menu's. We pulled the Menu up on Yelp lol. Food was standard. I really loved the fried rice! but the Hash was passable, it was too mushy for my liking. Also, our order of pancakes came 20mins after we finished eating, I wish i were kidding, We kept trying to flag down Aunty to cancel but she was very frazzled cooking, taking orders, and filling orders so we just waited. At the end we spent $60 including tip and left with a Hoo-Hum experience. Although I know for certain I just don't have the greatest of luck with this place, I am so happy they are still around and very much thriving! Places like this, that make Hawai'i so great are slowly shutting their doors so I do have a very great appreciation for their hard work and resilience through the many years.

From the moment we walked in, we were immediately greeted and sat down. It was quiet and very peaceful, which I am a HUGE fan of. I hate being in loud overcrowded places so this was already very appealing to us. After reviewing their menu, we were impressed by the choices and the prices. I ordered the loco moco and my boyfriend ordered the Famous fried rice omelette, along with a side of banana pancakes. The food came out within 10 minutes maybe less and the portions were massive! I'm quite picky when it comes to loco mocos because most places don't make them well enough. Usually the friend rice is plain, the patty is overcooked and the gravy is flavorless. HOWEVER, the fried rice was incredible to start, the patty literally melted in my mouth and the gravy was flavored very well and had the perfect amount of salt. If I'm being honest, that was the best loco moco I've eaten at a restaurant ever! My boyfriend's omelette was super good, he had the same fried rice I did and the egg was cooked perfectly. Pancakes were an absolute chefs kiss. I'm a huge sucker for Dennys pancakes over ihop and these pancakes blew Dennys out the door. On top of the food being perfect, the customer service was so good. They never missed a refill, they gave us their house made kimchee to try and WOW! (They sell it in 12oz tubs too) The workers were so so so kind and to top it off they gave us cookies to take home! Not to mention, we only spent $55 for everything we ordered! Great pricing if you ask me. I have not had such a great experience anywhere in a while so this just made my day!
