First time trying Jet's Pizza, and I was really looking forward to their Detroit-style pizza. I ordered a large deep dish pepperoni pizza and was told it would take about 10-15 minutes. No problem at all -- I hadn't eaten all day, so I was excited to finally try it. The pizza was ready quickly, and I headed out to my car. When I opened the box, I realized they had given me a cheese pizza instead of pepperoni. I went back inside and told the cashier there had been a mistake. His response honestly shocked me. He immediately said, "No, you ordered cheese." I repeated myself and said, "I ordered pepperoni. I never said cheese." He just looked at me, took the box without apologizing, and said "OK" in a condescending tone. Then he told me it would take another 20 minutes to remake the pizza. At that point, I was so frustrated and hungry that I just told him to give me the cheese pizza and left. Not exactly the great first impression I was hoping for from Jet's Pizza. The pizza itself was decent, but the customer service completely ruined the experience. Note to the owner: please train your staff on basic customer service and accountability. I'll tell you off the bat, It's not worth thirty five dollars. It is definitely not worth thirty five dollars. I mean, there is some heft to it. It's pretty heavy. The crunch is great on the bottom of that pizza. But thirty five dollars, this is more like a twenty five dollar pizza at most. I ordered the jet 10 minus black olives because black olives are gross. And they ruin a pizza. I'll tell you the vegetables are not fresh.The green peppers look like they're already gonna go bad. They started burning at the edges. I know cause I used to work at a pizza place and when they start burning it means they are going bad, that's how they start coming out when you cook em. Would I ever tried jet pizza again? Probably not for that price. It's way too expensive for a pizza that you could get somewhere else for the same quality. Flavor wise the pizza did have a good flavor but it's nothing that pizza hut or domino's or any of those other places have. About the same amount of taste. I will tell you that after two slices. I would say the order would be NY style, Neapolitan, Chicago Deep Dish, and then as a very distance 4th Detroit... but one bite of Jet's pizza and I am in love. Absolutely killer crust. You can't go wrong with their Detroit style; thick, chewy, and irresistibly crispy around the edges, each substantial slice is incredibly satisfying. They don't have vegan cheese, but if you order the veggie without mozzarella, you won't miss a thing. They load it up with mushrooms, peppers, onions, and olives without holding back. It's takeout only which is probably a good thing. The heat inside was absolutely stifling; I was starting to feel lightheaded while waiting for my pie to be ready. The pizza wasn't cheesy enough and a bit dry, but that could've been affected by doing takeout and I didn't get to try it fresh. I didn't think the tomato sauce was too flavorful, it could've also used more sauce. Crust was a bit bitter for some reason. Weird after taste. It's kind of expensive at $23 and it was probably cheaper to pick it up (by about $6) but I am not going to brace the cold and muller traffic madness to do a pick up. Other than the sticker shock - it's about the same size as a medium dominos pizza - although they say it's small with four big slices. If you want a slightly bigger pizza - you can get eight smaller slices and pay $2 more. I liked the hand tossed since it had a nice soft chew to it similar to papa johns but not with the fake butter stuff that papa John crust adds. The toppings were average. Would I order again? I ordered what I thought would be a pan pizza because the order UI is impossibly confusing. There is no option for a pan or detroit pizza. What I received was a round pizza with undercooked dough, bordering raw. It's like a Papa John's with somewhat better ingredients. Jet's needs to look at their website from the perspective of a first time customer and understand that it is difficult to figure out how to get a pan/Detroit style pizza. We have been to Jets a handful of times, but lets face it...living in Manor and driving that far south for pie is just crazy...The wife and I were pretty stoked to see this open in the Muller complex...yes it's turning into a mini Domain...and I like it. Get ready to have a new favorite pizza spot! I have loved Jets since living in the Midwest and this NEW location did not let me down. The other Austin area Jets are just bit to far for me but this one is much more centrally located to the city. I've found similar Detroit style pizza places in the Texas but nothing beats the Jets style with the flavored crust and 8corner pizza. I usually stick to a couple of variations of build your own Detroit style deep dish pizza with either ham or green peppers. I don't think you can ever go wrong on pizza toppings so go with your hearts desire. If you like to have only corner pieces, I would recommend the 8 corner Detroit style pizza. Be sure to add a crust flavor though so your taste buds get moving. I prefer the Cajun or Turbo crust flavors. The cajun isn't to spicy for me but it definitely comes with flavor. I'd say it's probably similar to 'Slap ya Momma' or 'Tony Chacheres' seasonings if you are familiar with those. Turbo is a combination of butter,garlic, and Romano flavors - yum! read more

A new NY pizza spot nearer to me? Had to try it. I tried their NYStyle hand-thrown version. First, their ideal of 'Medium" is way smaller than anyone else's, and it was really dwarfed in the box it came in. More like EconomyPlus. Toppings are only 89c, but you cant get much on a 'medium' pizza of theirs, and they sure didnt give much. Sauce is really sweet. Very little cheese on it, lots of bare crust on the edges. They use industrial dogfood pellets as their 'Italian Sausage', common with cheap restaurant supply outfits like Sysco. It came faster than promised, but for $28 with tip and delivery charge, I wont be ordering again, Glad I tried it, now I know. Did it get 4 stars because Mueller residents are so lazy? This place is a chain but I do think it is better than the standard dominos type chains out there. I think it has to do with both the tomatoe sauce and the crust. I ordered a small personal veggie pizza and it came with a plethora of veggies. I don't think it's standard to have tomatoes on your veggie pizza (or maybe it is and I am forgetting?) but I really liked it. The service is super fast, it probably only took them about 10 minutes to make it and they were really nice. There is no ambiance here as it's basically just a place where you puck up your food to go- so definitely dont bring a date, but still for sure check this place out if you've never had Jets pizza before because its fast, cheap and still good! read more

I've had Jets twice now and it's been inconsistent. The first time, I dined in and ordered the 4 corner with ranch sauce and sausage. I would've given that pizza 4 stars since it tasted good but wasn't exactly the same as the Jets I had in Chicago.
