The best pizza in north west Indiana 10/10 highly recommend, I have to get some every week

I love Jets Pizza but they are so bad at deals they advertise. I saw on the Cubs game that if you use the code GAME50, you get 50% off on any pizza at any location if you order online. Well, two things I learned today is not one location in the city honors this coupon plus to add insult to injury, it's not on any pizza. I don't blame the poor employees working there. They were actually embarrassed. One told me they just figure you'll go ahead and make the order anyway. I've already reached out to the Cubs marketing department and told them it makes them look bad as well. I also emailed Jets letting them know how horrible this is and I'll be putting this on all my socials. I was the head of marketing for 30 years and this kind of robbery makes me crazy. Boycott Jets, there are plenty of places to get pizza in Chicago. read more

Inconsistent pricing - lunch special (2 slices and a soda) is $7 in Arlington Heights but $10.50 by me in Chicago (55th St). I ordered the same lunch special last month and it was $8.50. Crappy pizza for cheap is perfectly ok but the price gouging/greed has gotten way out of hand. read more

I don't know why Iv'e been craving Jets Pizza lately? It just seems like every time I craved it I was no where near one or they weren't open. Well today I finally scratched that itch & stopped by for a piece of their chewy Detroit pizza style dough. After eating it I still wonder why I craved it as the doggy didn't seem to be the same chewy crust as before? I was disappointed. Do they all follow the same recipe? Salad is either frozen or stored a very low temp. Less than 24 hours lettuce is brown, soft and container (even with paper towels) water accumulated. Pizza good, not salads. read more

The service was very good! I ordered at 4:45 and was told the food would be here at 6pm but ended up arriving at 5:15! I was very impressed with the fast service and the food, the Greek salad tasted very fresh, the breadsticks were buttery and delicious, and the pizza was great as always!! read more

Made a delivery order from here and got the call from the driver saying they had arrived. I told them I was heading down to meet them. Instead of waiting the minute or two it took me to get to the door, the delivery person opted to just leave the box on the ground. Not only did they leave it on the ground outside of the building where it could have easily been taken, this also felt unhygienic and mishandled on the deliver persons part. read more

One of the worse pizzas. We ordered both deep pan and thin crust pizzas. There was hardly any sauce on the pizzas. Who uses can mushrooms these days? And Jet put very little of the thin slices of mushroom on the pizza. Most of the uneaten pizzas found their home in the trash can. The pizzas were delivered cold. I ordered a Jet's Boat. The menu in store reads $8.99. Upon ordering I was told my order would be $14 and change, I asked if there was any additional charges and the person helping me said no. I was then told the price is actually 11.99, to which I responded that the menu in front of their store reads $8.99. The person helping me then got a paper menu, that read 9.99 for the price. They were not willing to honor their advertised price so I left. I grew up in the metro Detroit area and have always been a big fan of jets for the quality, and their toppings. This location is very skimpy for the price paid and their customer service is lacking. I will not visit this location again. read more

I ordered from the app and picked up. I got a regular large Detroit-style one-topping pizza, an antipasto salad, and the cinnamon sticks. While I don't usually order cinnamon sticks anywhere, their Mother's Day promotion for free ones drew me in (but I forgot to put in the code). And, I splurged by also ordering a salad - first time trying one from this restaurant. First of all, the food was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by how filling and tasty the salad was. That was a meal unto itself. But what made this even better was that I forgot to put the code in at checkout on the app, and of course, they hadn't prepared the Sticks. But when my husband explained, the manager on duty said, "Well, since it's Mother's Day, we'll prepare it and give it to you." I immediately called them to thank them because they did not have to do it, since the fault was mine. So, an extra star for excellent customer service. The pizza is great! However, Jet's Corporate is currently running a scam. We got an email from Jet's saying that our local Jet's (Kimball & Irving Park) is running a special! 50% off on pizzas on Tuesdays in August. So we ordered a pizza yesterday (Tuesday). The cost of the pizza was over $30 and the discount was $9.90. I don't know who does their math, but that's not 50% off. When we complained to the manager, he said they (his bosses) didn't tell him about the promotion and a lot of people were complaining. Not the way to treat loyal customers. Can't remember the last time I had Jet's Pizza, especially their Detroit style pizza, but I really liked it. The crust was a perfect amount of crisp but the one thing I wish it did have more of is the sauce. Just a bit more sauce and it would be perfect! Jet's Pizza is unlike any other takeout pizza place I've had. As a New Yorker, I am partial to New York style pizza and once in a while, I will also indulge in Chicago style deep dish. Jet's is neither, but I was excited to try it because multiple people have recommended the 8 Corner pizza with turbo crust (Detroit Style Deep Dish). It definitely did not disappoint. It is a thick pan pizza, with crispy, cheesy crust on every single slice (hence 8 corner). It also wasn't overwhelmingly greasy or salty like most fast casual pizza places. It isn't as heavy, saucy, or cheesy as deep dish either so it was definitely unique. The only reason I deducted a star is because it is kind of pricey for a chain pizza place (~$30 for a 8 corner pizza) but will definitely be back if I'm craving pan pizza. read more

I'd heard so many favorable comments regarding Jet's Pizza so I decided to treat myself to one of their tasty pies. Disappointment, disappointment, and dare I say, disappointment. I ordered my pizza with the hand tossed crust. Not sure who, what, or where it was tossed, but, the recovery was a fail. The crust was dry and rubbery, but the toppings were great, however, would taste best with a better crust. On with my review. I called the store to report my misfortune in the event something went wrong in the preparation, remember this is my first Jet's pizza and I was not prepared for the rude, condescending, guy on the phone. I ordered pizza, BBQ wings, garden salad and Caesar salad. What they call a Ceasars salad is iceberg lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. Ceasars salad is Romaine lettuce, cheese and croutons. Don't order if you really want Ceasars salad. read more

We have ordered from this location multiple times, and our pizza is NEVER delivered by the estimated time. We have waited over an hour past the delivery time for our food to arrive. Tonight, our pizza was scheduled to be delivered at 7:05 - it's now 7:50 our pizza has yet to be delivered. I called the store at 7:45 and was told that our pizza was out for delivery and would arrive in 5-10 minutes. There was no apology, no attempt to make amends. Very poor customer service. I don't mind waiting an hour for pizza, especially during peak times. But it is deceiving to provide an estimation for delivery and then miss it by 45 minutes. Fool me once, shame on you. IT'S HIP TO BE RECTANGLE! I was attending an event and I saw rectangular pizza boxes arrive. What? Where's the normal square pizza box? There is no way a round pizza was fitting in there. I was really curious to see this odd shaped pizza. I helped set up the food and I opened up the box and the rectangle pizza was piping hot. Talk about fast and hot delivery. I then looked at the cover and thought...what is jet's? I've never heard of them ever. I tried a bite and was really surprised at how good the pizza was. There was a lot of bread and crust and it reminded me of a Sicilian type of pizza. It was really close in taste to a chain I went to in high school called Rocky Rocco's. I loved at how greasy the crust was from Jet's. If the crust would have been dry, I would have hated that. And it would have been a deal breaker. Both cheese and pepperoni pizzas were ordered. I had a few bites of the pepperoni and I think I might order this pizza again. They do have a nice Yelp check in offer! This is not your traditional Chicago style pizza. It's not a thin crust and it's not a deep dish pizza. It has it's own style and sometimes it is good to think outside the pizza box. Detroit is slowly invading Chicago. First, it is transplants like myself....next, we bring our pizza, too. Soon enough we'll be building cars here, drinking Faygo pop and the Tigers will play home games at Wrigley Field. In all seriousness, the day Jets moved into the City was like one of the greatest days of my life. Hey, so maybe the bar isn't too high....but I was also known to jump into a Zipcar and visit the Skokie Jets location prior to this one opening. Wow, I'm surprised you're still reading this review from this loser.... Anyhow, the pizza is awesome - Jets is like a square version of Pequod's, kinda, but not really. I don't know how to describe it but the crispy edges of the crust are what make it soooooo good. Its so good they make an "eight corner" pizza so you dont find yourself fighting your dining companions over those corner pieces that have extra square footage of crusty-edges. Jets may lack on the cheese and toppings of Pequod's, but their price is also about half. Do yourself a favor and also try the Jets Bread and HOMEMADE RANCH. At least it tastes homemade...if its not, don't tell me. read more

Was very excited to see a Jet's Pizza open up in Chicago. I had heard of them, but after trying them I'm impressed. The Deep Dish is very tasty, round pizza was OK, and the Jet's Bread is one step close to Pokey Stix in Chicago. Decently priced too. I always pick my Pizza up, no problems yet. LOL @ Everyone placing delivery orders on Superbowl Sunday and rating Jet's 1 star because they were late. Deal with it. read more

I have a new love in this city, and it's name is Jet's. For a town that is famed for it's pizza, Chicago certainly has it's share of pizzerias all of which produce pies of varying similarity and quality. When I first saw the Jet's box arrive at my office for a vendor-sponsored Pizza Party, my heart sank. The boxes were so small, compared to the massive thin-crust boxes that cover the entire conference table. However, as soon as we opened them up, all fears were assuaged and we quickly fell to gobbling down this hearty, cheesy, well-topping'd slices. From the freshness of the toppings to the crispy crunch of the crust edges, to the delightfully thick piles of cheese, everything about these little squares satisfies my pizza-craving inner beast. I was delighted to find that they also deliver to me, and ordered again the other day. Despite a slight mess where apparently the cheese slid off a third of the pizza during delivery (hey, it happens) that required a bit of "Topping Redistribution", it was just as good the second time around. I'd skip the crust enhancers next time - I didn't really notice a difference other than the crust feeling a bit slick and oily (but still delicious). The only way to improve on Jet's Pizza is if we had a rival chain called "The Sharks", so I could order them both at once and watch them dance and fight on my porch. read more

I almost didn't order from this location because of the abysmal reviews, but my friends place is very close to here so I decided to risk it. I have to give credit where it's due, the delivery was solid. Ordered at 6:15 pm on a Saturday night assuming it would take 60-90 minutes. They gave an ETA of 7:15pm and came nearly on the dot. The pizza is pretty good but kind of pricey for what it is. I do think in general this kind of pizza tends to cool down quickly and doesn't taste as good when it's cooler so that might be why people have received cold food in the past. read more

I don't normally yelp, however this has been the absolute worst delivery experience I've ever had. I called for an order at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. At 8:30 I called to see what was going on, and they replied that the pizza left 10 minutes ago and it should be there very soon. At 9:00pm I called again, was put on hold for over 15 minutes and only after hanging up and calling back again did I get the manager, who told me the pizza was not coming.
