A solid restaurant for chinese rice noodle soup for a reasonable price. You can choose the soup base and type of meat you want in it. The soups are light and clean tasting. I recommend this place if you want something light. The fish with silken tofu noodle soup is great.

Quality: 8/10 chicken was a little over and the broth was quite oily, but the flavor was top notch and rich. Variety: 9/10 there's a lot of apps (cold and hot) and also you can make your own noodle soup with or without extra ingredients Atmosphere/Cleanliness: 9/10 place was spacious with a lot of seating and clean Service: 8/10 quick service and came frequently to refill our tea/water Price: $19/person including tax If you like rice noodles with a fragrant rich and buttery soup, this is the place to go!

The food was excellent 1 bowl of their signature fish maw soup with chicken can be shared between 2 people and can easily satisfy. The soup was very satisfying and hot the noodles were cooked perfectly and was packed with vegetables, herbs and mushrooms. We tried their chicken gizzard side dish and their cold chicken side dish. Their staff was very friendly and the place was very clean and neat. There was no wait when we arrived at 10:30am they give you free pudding if you write a review for them!

One of the best Ramen spots I've ever been to. The prices are really good, the staff is great at explaining things. And the space is perfect for a hungry family on budget. There are a ton of different options for people of different dietary preferences, so you really can't go wrong here. Go!

I went for dine in lunch on a Tuesday to this restaurant. There is metered street parking only. It has a bright, open and clean dining area. They open at 10:30am but the we were there at 11am. It filled up slowly but they do a brisk take out. They have a lunch special which I found odd because no price was indicated anywhere. I figured it out when ordering. Basically, you order any entree on the menu for the price listed and you get a free appetizer (choice of 4 items) and drink (can sodas). So the lunch price will vary depending on what you order. We ordered the tonkatsu ramen with spring roll and Ji Fish Maw soup with add-on pork intestines and marinated chicken gizzards. We also added the Tiger prawn Rolls and chili oil Dumplings. Everything came out quickly. Probably about 15 minutes. The spicy marinated chicken gizzards are served cold so it was on the tough side. The spring roll was a typical spring roll. The tiger prawn was crispy and delicious. I found the chili wontons not flavorful. I could only taste the chili oil not any pork. The tonkatsu ramen was very good. Nice springy noodles. The fish maw soup was huge. It didn't have much fish maw but it had a lot of pig intestines and other ingredients. It was filled with tofu, tofu sheets, 3 types of mushroom, lettuce, wood ear and other things I couldn't identify. There had to be at least a pound of rice noodle. Both came out piping hot. The huge portions are worth the price. Good place for locals for lunch.

Inside of the restaurant, super clean and spacious. Staff wear purple shirts and have been very nice.

10/10 This place is clean. The staff are helpful, kind and attentive. The menu is extensive but has so many healing, hearty and delicious broths. There was no wait and the food came super quick! There are lunch specials which include shareable appetizers and a can of soda. The broths are rich, flavorful and filling. I'd definitely come back to try it all. Highly recommend you to come try too!

If you're tired of Ramen, pho (I mean i'm never tired of pho!) or Taiwanese beef broth noodle soups. This is the spot! The broth is not too heavy, it has that warm your soul without all that sodium in your belly. I always get the chicken with the fish maw. It's great when you get a cold or feel cold or just vibing for good noodle soups! If you feening to beast you can also add more toppings on top of the noods! Don't sleep on the sides too! The chili oil dumpling, the poached boiled chicken, heck even the crispy chicken wrap! Hands down pact with flavors. I think I honestly like the Bayside location more cause they have more options and its not as crowded vs the one in Flushing. Due to steady stream of people I feel like the chef pays more attention to the dishes and gets it correct consistently. The one in flushing is as good too but sometimes it can get a hit or miss every now and then but so far I haven't had any issues with the one on Bayside. Definitely recommend this spot. Definitely my new addiction and place to go.

Came in for lunch, had the fish soup with ramen noodles. My appetizer was a spring roll, my wife had a different soup but her appetizer was very tasty garlic marinated chicken gizzard. Service was very fast and friendly, love to come in and try the rest of the menu.

I like their food because it's simple, tasty, and comes out quickly. The Khong Rou Fan is comforting and flavorful, and the Niu Rou Mian is always a good choice when you want something warm and satisfying. The string beans were a nice light appetizer to start. It's kind of a semi-service place -- you order at the counter and clean up after yourself when you're done, so there's no need to leave a tip if you dine in. The good- plenty of meat in Lou Rou Fan, the texture of stinky tofu, the no tipping but bus your own tray business model. Friendliness of staff behind the ordering counter. It's before Yelp and even before internet time). I could not imagine I can have this noodle in Bayside now. Comparing to the famous beef noodles I had, this is pretty good but still a way to go. Let's start with the noodle. It is al dente and carry the soup really well. The braised beef made well too. The tenderness is just fine. However, I missed the big piece of meat instead of bite size chopped cube. It is easy to eat but could be more satisfying. The Shanghainese Pok Choy is a must in order to complete this dish authentically. However, it's overly chopped. I missed the couple halved Shanghainese Pok Choy placed nicely on the side. For the soup, the fave is fine and the balance of the sour and savory is just to the point. However, I wish I could have more pickled veggie that added more sourness to the soup. It would be much better to place a container of pickled veggie on each table for the customer to add it freely. That would be perfect. This place is cozy, clean and neat. Thanks for the ambiance. I think I would still come back when I crave for Taiwanese noodles. Lap Yin Calvin Kwok

Menu is very limited with the protein options though with a few choices of noodles (spicy, ramen, or soup versions). They also carry poke bowls which I have yet to try. I did enjoy my beef over rice very much. Thin slices of beef, super tender and delicious. The sauce was on the sweeter side which was drizzled onto the beef as an au jus. And it came with half an egg, pickled radishes and broccoli. Another dish I enjoyed was the fish and cabbage hot pot. That was served with a bowl of rice. No noodles. Even with the spice level at "one pepper" rating, it was too much of a kick for me. But those that like spicy will enjoy it just fine. The fish pieces it came with were generous sized portions and this bowl was loaded with vegetables. Wood ear, mushrooms, cabbage, sliced white radish, and bean curd skin. It also has a few slices of spam (which I did order extra so I'm not sure if the normal is two slices). We also tried the pan fried pork gyoza which was perfectly fried on each side. Nice color. Taiwanese pork as a side comes with one pc per order. The fried chicken appetizer could use a little more spices but the chicken was so tender and very juicy. I liked it a lot. It does come with a dipping sauce which helps but I didn't use it much. All in all a good spot for take out but the menu will need to be expanded in order to have longevity. Sadly it didn't look busy each time I came to pick up. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Whenever I come across Taiwanese beef noodle soup, I usually have to try it. Overall, it was pretty good, the broth was tasty and the meat was tender. They offer both beef and beef tendon noodle soup, which I always appreciate since not every place does. However, when my mother requested just beef tendon due to dental issues, we were told it couldn't be accommodated because the meat is pre-portioned. That was a bit surprising for such a small establishment, as I would have assumed it was ladled from a larger pot like many similar places. I ended up ordering the same bowl and giving my mom all the tendon while I kept the meat although I'll admit I would have preferred to keep the tendon for myself. My cousin ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, which she really enjoyed. I tried a taste as well, but it wasn't really my preference. The spice had more of a Sichuan-style profile, leaning toward that mala flavor that I don't personally enjoy. Aside from that, the soup was enjoyable, though not the best I've had, but certainly nowhere near the worst either. We also ordered stinky tofu, which unfortunately didn't have quite enough soy sauce (I could have asked for more, but didn't bother) and ended up tasting a bit under-seasoned. It also wasn't as pungent as one would hope. Service was minimal, with one server who I believe may also have been the owner. While everything came out correctly, there wasn't much flexibility with requests, which made the experience feel a bit rigid. Prices were also on the higher side for a small, off-the-beaten-path spot. Overall, it was a decent meal with some good flavors, but a few inconsistencies kept it from being a standout.
