Yesterday, 4/24/23, I needed to get my oil changed, as it was several months past due. I was greeted by a nice young lady, who told me that she would set up this service for me. During a preliminary inspection, she then showed me that my tires were getting worn and suggested rotating the tires at some point, during another visit. I was so happy that she noticed the need, and asked that it be done along with the oil change, as well. She then escorted me to the air conditioned waiting room, and told me to help myself to some cold water. Another lady came in to see me later. She reported that while doing the tire rotation, they noticed that my brakes were really bad and almost "down to the metal". She suggested that I consider fixing the brakes at another time, but as soon as possible, since the brakes were in bad condition. I thanked her for noticing this serious problem. I'm going to go back to Jiffy Lube at Pearl Kai Shopping Center, some time this week to fix my brakes. I'm so grateful that they take the time to do little inspections as they are trying to complete the services that I ordered. I really appreciate it because my sister and I drive every day for work, on the freeway. That would be hazardous if my brakes didn't work on a crowded freeway. Thank you so much Jiffy Lube Pearl Kai. Very disappointed in how they addressed an issue with my cabin filter. Had my car oil changed along with my filters and for a few months on and off my AC wasn't working properly. It was hard to diagnosis what was wrong with my AC unless it happened at that moment.. Finally after seeing a few mechanics, the mechanic checked the cabin filter and it was placed the wrong way and a napkin was blocking it. I called Jiffy since they were the last to touch it and Cathy had the nerve to tell me that behind the receipt it says if there's any problems to come back. How would I know that something wrong with my AC would be something Jiffy who only does oil changes would know. Of course I went to my mechanic to finally fix the problem. I mean a simple I'm sorry and I'll make sure my staff is aware of how to install things properly would be grateful, but no Cathy made me speak to their mechanic Rick. Thank you Rick for offering a free oil change but an "I'm sorry" would have been sufficient enough. read more

I couldn't get an appointment w the dealership for an oil change so I popped into Jiffy Lube. They took me right away and were very quick and professional. I also was impressed that they had a lot of female technicians servicing the cars! I was a little shocked at the price tho which was about double what I pay at the dealership. I will never come to this place again! They are shady AF! I was in the waiting room and there was this old guy (70s-80s) sitting and waiting for his car. One of the workers walked up to him and said that he had to clean the battery because there was a lot of Corrosion and it was going to be a $50 additional charge. The older man looked puzzled and said "How is that possible, I just got my battery replaced last week?!" The poor guy looked horrified. The worker just stood there for a sec and was like "Oh no shit? Um, okay don't worry about it then". And walked away! This POS was trying to scam an additional $50 from this poor old man by LYING to him about Corrosion being on his brand new battery! Never again will I come here! Save yourself from being scammed and go somewhere else! read more

Not impressed. Tried to get a safety inspection based on feedback from a Lyft driver. Would have been ok IF they answered the phone so I could make an appointment! I tried for 3 days straight, calling multiple times each day then decided to take a chance and just drive up. (Website does NOT say appointments for any service is required.) Their service is now "drive through" per the website so I got in line but no one comes to check you in or ask what you want when you arrive. I waited for 30 minutes behind a car getting a safety inspection so I was hopeful. When someone finally came up to me I asked to get a safety inspection and was told I had to make an appointment and couldn't get one that day...! I replied that I tried to but no one answered the phone for 3 days straight... NO APOLOGY given. Staff person just looked at me a little sheepishly... So...I made an appointment for the following Wednesday. Well I managed to get an appointment somewhere else on Monday instead (two days earlier) and was going to cancel but since daughter also needed an inspection she took the appointment. I actually was able to get through on the phone (must have to call at certain times for them to answer?) to change the vehicle (they probably didn't care but I wanted to be sure they wouldn't turn daughter away). On the appointed day daughter went about 10 minutes early, and was in line behind another car. One of the bays opened up and the car behind her moved to it and got serviced first! So it's not first come first served since they don't check you in when you arrive... She said they opened the hood but she doesn't think anyone even looked inside. They of course had her turn on the lights and checked the blinkers. She has a sticker but is unsure if everything that was supposed to be done was completed. I told her I'd give benefit of the doubt and assume they did. Not sure if I'll return. Before the initial experience of being denied a safety check I had planned to try for an oil change in a couple of months. Now I'm not so sure. If daughter didn't need the safety inspection, too I would have given only 2 stars. I'll see if I can get through on the phone in tow months and check if I need an appointment for an oil change. If I can get through I'll see how the oil change service is. If i I can't, I may lower my rating at that time since it will be another telephone fail. read more

I came in to Jiffy Lube around 8am for an oil change and tire rotation. I was immediately greeted by Amber at the entrance of the drive through, and after attaining some basic information, I was guided into the shop. After a quick inspection, I was notified that my vehicle's brake fluid was black, and that it would take an extra 15 minutes to flush and replace it. I gave Amber the go ahead to do so. The service and inspections were very efficient, and after about 45 minutes in the shop, I had paid and left. Shout out to Christina for keeping the Team on point and to Kassey for assisting me in resetting my service light. Kudos to all the women running the shop as well! I went in for an oil change and also asked about headlight replacement. They were able to do both extremely efficiently and kept me updated the entire time. Located in Pearl Kai Shopping Center this location is convenient when needing an oil change. I managed to just take a chance on greeting oil changes for my work fleet of vehicles. Even though there was a line in the early morning, by the time I came back after lunch it was pretty empty. I would assume that means they were efficient and fast. With the bays empty, I decided to bring more fleet cars. It got to the point where they could change the oil almost every 30-35 minutes so needless to say I needed up bring 4 in for changes. One down fall, which they can't help is that I have a fleet of Mercedes Sprinters, which they can't do. The height of the building was there limitation. The service staff is friendly, they explain everything and they also make sure you understand. Honestly for the price, i don't mind bringing it to them Instead or taking the cars to the dealers or having to attempt to do it myself. read more

I came on weekdays and they have 5-6 people helping me. I first was referred to go here by my fiancé some years ago when I was LONG overdue for an oil change. Today, this is the only place that I go to get my oil changed. Why you may ask? Because, I am in and out with very little wait time! They call it Jiffy Lube for a reason. You're in and out in a jiffy. Literally! On my most recent visit, I came in and got the oil changed in my car, and I kid you not, I probably only was waiting in the waiting area for a good 20 minutes when they called me telling me that my car was done. SCORE! Service is great, the guys and gals are always very patient whenever I have questions about some potential additional services I may need. I have to say, I have neglected coming in as soon as I get the mail card saying I am due for an oil change, but these guys are really good at letting me know what's going on when I do finally come in. I would give 0 if that was an option, most of the techs that work here don't know what they're doing. Took my mother's car in and it was a nightmare after engine lights came on and cause was because techs messed up big time. They use the wrong fluids in cars causing major repair issues! Suggest services that you don't need and shouldn't be suggesting because you have to be at a high mileage to even have them done! Performance was poor and unnecessary! They rotated our tires only to tell us afterwards that we have to take it to another place to fix the sensor indicator because they don't know how to do that! Then why offer or even do a service if we're just going to have to take somewhere else to get fixed properly!!! Upon going back a day later when engine lights came on they had employees names on services that that tech never performed. So if they didn't do the service their names shouldn't be on it at all! They immediately refunded one service without explanation which shows they knew they messed up but wouldn't/couldn't discuss things. Although the women that work there are understanding and work with you to make sure the issues get resolved, the lack of ownership and response from the business owner/manager is unacceptable. If he had immediately reached out to apologize and make things right with the repairs I would have given higher rating. Still waiting to get car repaired after having damage evaluated at an actual mechanics shop estimating thousands in repairs! With future repairs because it will take time for effects to kick in from their disastrous services. Still no word from owner either... this place shouldn't be allowed to do anything more then an oil change if that! Update: This morning got the call they took car to their mechanic and had it checked and fixed the issues. Still have to get a detailed list of what was done from them for vehicle history records. Picked it up and will be driving it to see if anything comes up. read more

Of the Jiffy lubes Ive been to on the island, this location has got to be the fastest service. I honestly haven't spent more than 30 minutes here. I got my state inspection and a few oil changes. I get out of work at 2 pm near the airport and its a very quick stop over for me, I can usually stop here after work and still beat the traffic with enough time to do some outdoorsy stuff before the sun goes down. Although I received just as good service at other locations this one never has the same congestion and lines as the ones in town. read more

I had my oil change here at pearl kai jiffy lube and the guy Giovanni did my oil change and didn't tighten my oil filter which caused my timing belt to come off and oil to go all over my engine and my car to stop running. I had to get my car towed buy new belt, oil filter and oil. I went back to jiffy lube and all they did was give me my money back for the oil change i did with them.
