I'm not too happy with these guys. I came here for an oil change and was told they were first come first serve. Sounds good. When I arrived there were a ton of cars lined up outside their garage for service. I walked up to the counter and the guy ignored me for a minute or two as he continued to do whatever on his computer. When he did acknowledge me, he told me to get my car in one of the lines. After I did, I asked if they wanted the key so they could move the car. They said no and that it would be about an hour. About 45 minutes later, they asked for the key because they couldn't move the car (big surprise). They also told me they didn't have the regular oil for my car, which would have resulted in a $47 oil change. They did have a $70 oil and other more expensive types they were willing to sell me. They also told me at that point it would be another hour to an hour and a half. Fortunately, 40 minutes later they were done and I got my car back. The place looked like it was poorly run, without much coordination. I also thought it was kind of strange how there was nothing in the waiting area indicating what they did or how much it cost. Next time I need an oil change, I will be going elsewhere. read more

Brought the husband's car here a couple of times now. They've always been able to help me with a minimal wait and service time. Staff has also always been able to explain to us what they were doing to the car or if our car needed additional services. We also like that we can walk around the shopping center and get a good meal and our car is usually done before us. read more

I had my 2013 Nissan Frontier serviced at your location on 29 Sep 2020.  I had approximately $1,400 worth of work done and had my battery replaced as part of the service. A week later on 6 Oct 2020 just after 9 PM, my truck would not start and I had to have it towed home after the tech my insurance company sent out couldn't jump it. On 8 Oct 2020, I paid $200 to have my truck towed to my auto dealer's service center. The service center mechanic did their tests and determined that the battery was defective and nothing else was wrong with my truck. I purchased a new battery from them and had them install it, and asked that they not dispose of the defective one so that I could return it to Jiffy Lube and get a refund. I called Jiffy Lube before I went down, told the person that answered the situation, and they said to bring the battery back. When I got there and spoke to the female mechanic (or maybe manager) on site, she pointed to the fine print requiring that I was requires to return the vehicle to Jiffy Lube.  She indicated that because I did not adhere to the fine print, I would not be entitled to a refund for the defective battery. So rather than do the right and decent thing, which would have been to simply refund me for the defective battery they sold me, this service center decided to hide behind the fine print. The woman I dealt with opted for the hardline so now I will do the same. Over the years, I have had every vehicle I own, including the three I own now, serviced at a Jiffy Lube Service center. However, from now on, I will take my money elsewhere and will recommend to everyone I know that they do the same.  So for the bargain price of $149.99 plus tax, you have lost a customer for life and gained an ardent detractor. read more

After an oil change, 6 days later my car had no oil in it, 0, nada, dry as hell, I don't know what happened but the whole thing leaked out and I only noticed on the 6th day. read more

Oil is down to nothing and we do ours at jiffy lube. It was raining hard so we figured no line! As it was no line! And we didn't have to get out of the car. We asked if they can put air in the tires too. All in under 45 minutes! The team worked together as a team. My husband not familiar with computer stuff and asked to restore the oil life span and the crew showed him and now he knows...I'm hoping more stuff is added in their service now that Sears is closing out of business. Hoping and praying that they stay afloat. I just don't know where else to go that we can go in and out in a jiffy. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, they're very efficient and helpful. I come here for regular servicing and oil changes as well as my yearly safety check. I haven't had any issues with my car service or the staff. However, its a hit or miss on how long things take. Once your car is in the bay...it's fast. But getting to the bay is whole different story... Definitely if possible, try not to go on weekends or you will be waiting for hour+. Huge thank you to Ed not only for helping with the Safety Check but also going above and beyond in fixing our major situation. As we were pulling in, a loud burst came from the engine and smoke started escaping from the engine bay. We pulled into a parking stall nearby and Ed came to check on us. We were so impressed by how quickly he diagnosed the problem. Not only did he give us a solution to the problem but the solution was already on its way so he could help fix the problem. These guys are fantastic. They never disappoint and they're fast. I called 20 minutes prior to closing to see if they could do an oil change for me and they said no problem. They're located conveniently next to a bunch of restaurants so you could grab a quick bite of food to eat while you wait or check out the other places nearby. But since they're so fast, you only have to wait a few minutes and they're done. This is my go to oil change spot. Everyone here is cheerful and they give military discounts as well. They offer complimentary coffee and tea inside their air conditioned waiting room. They also give free check ups on your car and let you know of any faults or unsafe things. Pulled up, got the typical attempted upsale on every aspect of my car that I expect from Jiffy Lube. They should probably update "their systems" to be more inline with manufacturer recommendations because they were way off on everything. So, my car was done for 25 minutes and they never bothered to cash me out. I had to go out in the shop and disrupt their smoke break ask for one of them to take two minutes to take my payment so I could leave. Total time my car was in the bay: 12 minutes. Total time spent waiting: 40 minutes. Typically I avoid Jiffy Lube like the plague because they are subpar on everything auto but I needed an oil change in a pinch and went anyways. Don't not go here. I came to get a oil change and got up sold, which I expected. But after picking up my car my check lights were still on and it said my tire pressure was low. So I went back tell tell them, they said they checked it and just needed to drive it a little. I drove it 2 miles then back since light didn't go off. They said they checked the tire pressure and it has to be a battery in the tire air nipple that's bad and I needed to take it to a tire shop. I ask for a tire gauge so I could check it. And guess what the tire pressure was low. I had them put air in it after 2 hours a 2 mile drive and back for them to do their job right. This pissed me off! SO WARNING DO NOT GO HERE! read more

03/17/18 So I needed to get service for my truck. Oil and filter change, brakes, tire rotation. Arrived early (around 6:30am) at this particular location. I was 2nd in line. On the garage door and the front door it lists opening time at 7am. A little before 7, I see an employee arrive, and walk around the back of the building. Come 7am, doors don't open. I figure, give the guy some time, and he'll be out. Maybe he had to relieve himself of last nights meal. In the mean time, more customers arrive. 7:10. I see one customer leave. At 7:15, I'm starting to get a little impatient, but I need to get some work done so I'll wait. 7:30. Doors aren't open, no employees in sight even after looking in the shop. Fed up. Not just me, but other customers who are exiting their vehicles, wondering WTF is going on. 7:35. I'm done. I did not get up early on my day off to spend my hard earned dollars at an establishment that doesn't have the decency to come out and face the customers and let us know that they are running late or maybe short staffed. The way I feel is, I'm not important to their business, and they don't need or want my money. Today's experience only cements my decision to never spend my money here again. And best believe that I will be spreading the news to my family, friends, coworkers, and anyone who I may engage in casual chat regarding auto repair. The service provided by Wilford @ the Jiffy Lube in Aiea was AWESOME. They checked my van and did their normal service of changing my oil and tipping off what my van needed. Wilford returned and recommended that my filter be changed and show me what it looked like (GROSS) and reminded me that my safety check was EXPIRED but he did it in a way as to gently remind me that I was driving around illegally . When I finished paying, they walked me to my van, open the van door and waited until I was situated and comfortable and he gently closed my door. In fact, as I waited for my van to be serviced, I witnessed the same service for ALL of their customers! My partner always gets his jeep serviced here. They ask him if he wants to get other services done, while they're reviewing his past file, and he usually turns them down without hassle. He's usually a walk-in, without appointment, and they get his oil change done within an hour and a half. This location is nice because it's surrounded by restaurants, shops, and the mall is just a short walk across the street. That way, you can entertain yourself before they call you back in to tell you your car is done. read more

Took in my car for an oil change then had to pull over for rattling. Found out they not only they let the rubber place-ring laying in the engine bay(cause of noise) they also busted my seal on the top in the engine and broke another foam seal that was left crushed in the hood latch. I can get forgetting a rubber ring but if you busted the seal just tell me. Wont be going here again. read more

Quick and easy oil change service! I use them regularly due to the fact that I don't need an appointment (for oil change). All of the workers are nice and seem knowledgeable. I've been going here for years. This morning when I stopped in to get my oil changed I was told that they do not service Mini Coopers anymore. When I asked why? He said, I was told by our manager we don't service Minis anymore. So I asked again, but why not? He couldn't answer. So I call another location and was told the same thing. They could not tell me the reason for this change, only that their regional manager said so. Lame when you can't give a reasonable answer. You lost my business even if I change cars. THE BEST PLACE TO GET ALL YOUR CAR NEEDS. I went in with my son and from the start a great aloha spirit and awesome guest service. It was quick but thorough! They kept me updated the whole way and I always knew what was going on. They were also friendly and made my son happy the whole time, he now wants to go there with me all the time for our car. A worker told me that I need an appointment even though he said that I didn't need one a week ago. After reminding him, the manager came to me and told me that I made him stressed me yelled at him. NEVER coming back here after being lied to by the workers. I called yesterday 11/14 and this morning 11/15 about safety check if I need to make an appointment or not. the person who answered the phone both days told me no and they accept walk ins. I called 11/15 early morning and asked if I can walk in to do safety check again person answered said yes I could. So I did came in and waited a bit. then someone finally came to the window where you pay I asked to get a safety check done and the lady said i need an appointment when they're busy. she told me they do walk ins when not busy but when they're busy they do appointment. I want to know if your doing a walk in how the FCK are you suppose to know they're busy. she didn't even offer to make an appointment for me for a later time so I left and made an appointment somewhere else. I've come to this one for several cars doing safety check all done within timely matter even when. busy.... this was the worst I've experienced with them. still dumbfounded I got lied to on the phone. also confused on how I as a customer am gonna know that they're busy when I come in? this is ridiculous!
