I have been going to this Jiffy Lube for years. Miss the previous owners/staff. The current one is OK as far as oil changes are concerned. There have been issues: messy work, tire caps not replaced (had special chrome ones for custom wheels), but I guess I could overlook some things until today. I pulled in about 7:10 a.m. Only ONE car was getting an oil change. Five or six guys were standing around. All I wanted was a safety check. The guy asks if I had an appointment. I have never had to call for an appointment before. Besides, NO ONE ELSE WAS THERE! Wasted my time getting off the freeway and through road construction. Jon was very helpful. I came in for a fluid replacement and was told my battery was dying. Everything was completed in 45-minutes.

We went in to get an estimate for some bad sounding breaks. Awesome! They tried to give us an oil change. Awesome! We had just got an oil change elsewhere, so we didn't need that. After they inspected the breaks, they said the brakes needed were approximately $600, for rotors and pads, and they could start the work in 1.5 hours when their mechanic returned. That's pretty pricey considering Lex Brody was doing some crazy deal for almost half. So we left. Sure enough, we went to Lex Brody, not only were we quoted approx. $350, but, they said it wasn't necessary, because after the brake inspection, they told us we didn't need breaks for at least another year, and the problem we were having was just friction. They said they could fix the noise, but if we can live with it, we didn't need breaks. I would say shame on Jiffy Lube, but they have a history of ripping people off, so I guess shame on us. But now, shame on Jiffy Lube for making us shame on us. I would make sure you get many different quotes, but be sure not to get one from Jiffy Lube. Oh ya... Then the part where they sent my wife back to the car and said the keys were there, when they weren't, then told her that they gave her the keys and to check in her purse was awesome as well. TL;DR This place has always given me fast and professional service but today I do feel like I was taken advantage of recently by paying for extra maintenance that was recommended but I actually didn't need. So before anyone gets their car serviced, read up on what is actually required for your car. I've been going here for the past year for my oil changes and safety checks and I've never had problems. I workout at the gym across the street and the service is done by the time I'm finished and everyone is nice and respectful. I took my 2015 Nissan, still under 25,000 miles, in for an oil change and they recommended air filter change, tire rotation, fuel injection cleaning, brake fluid replacement, windshield wiper replacement, and an engine flush and the total came out to over 300$! I asked if he could take off the things I could wait until next month for, so we took off the tire rotation and windshield wiper replacement. The total was still over 300, but it was less than the original price and I don't know much about cars so I figured this was all the work required to keep my car operational. I will admit, I skipped my last oil change, but I didn't think I would need so much work for skipping an oil change once. It didn't feel right, but I've had great service from them before and I trust them, so I gave them the OK. I should have trusted my gut and should have held off because I read my cars manual for recommended maintenance for 25-30000 miles and it was only an oil change and tire rotation that was recommended. My manual recommended brake fluid replacement at 60,000 miles and there was no mention of an engine flush or fuel injection cleaning ever required. Also, when I went to pay for everything after the work was done, they had replaced my windshield wipers when I had asked them not to. Overall, I spent an extra 250$ on things my car didn't even need. So before anyone gets service here, read up on what your car actually needs so you don't pay for unnecessary extras. I learned my lesson the hard way! read more

they're usually hella busy on weekends but I came here on a Monday around noon time for an oil change and there was no line! woohoo that's a first for me lol. as soon as I pulled up, the guy greeted me by name and asked if I was there for an oil change. after the guy typed up everything, he told me it would be about 20mins. so I went inside to wait. not even 10mins goes by and my car is ready already! the staff was really friendly and the service is always pretty good. the only thing that's a bummer about this place is the price. it costs me about $92 to change my oil :( it's never a fun thing I gotta do when my maintenance light pops up or when my meter reaches the mileage on when it's time to go back. #3 out of 100 Yelp Reviews in 2015 read more

I go here more than I should but it is conveniently located next to my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They try pretty hard over there and usually have me out in, sorry, a Jiffy. I do think it would be a good idea to have the manager clearly marked out cause it looks like there is no one in charge there. They get things done but vis a vis Firestone which is right up the road, the operation is not as tight. All in all I like the people and they are always friendly there. They charge a bit too much for a tire rotation though, $29.99 versus $20 bucks at both Firestone and Goodyear. Probably because they're not a full service tire shop. read more

Our first encounter at this facility. I called before coming down, they said an hour wait if we come now. It takes us about 15 minutes to get there. Got checked in by a friendly staff. So off we go to get lunch nearby. We come back an hour later and see our car being driven into the work area. In about 20 minutes another worker says our car is done and someone would call us up to the counter in 5. After 10 minutes, no one called us up, so we went up to inquire. He apologized and got us rung up right away. I gave him a filled discount stamp card and he even upped the discount a few more dollars. Over all, we're pleased! read more

Had an awful experience here! All I asked for was regular maintenance. Oil change, tire rotation, windshield wipers replaced. Paid $100. On our way home, one of the wheels wobbled. Turns out the lug nuts weren't tightened at all on it. Then the tire pressure light turned on. They put 7lb too little air in all for tires. Then, we go on a long drive, all of a sudden engine is too hot and an awful smell. The cap wasn't on the coolant reservoir. It had boiled up and spilled all over everything. Refilled it but leaked out within an hour. Our receipt specifically said they checked coolant level and it was at a safe level. When we took it back Jiffy Lube first said they don't check coolant, then said they did check it but wouldn't take the cap off to check it. So angry. Our car has thousands of dollars worth of engine damage now. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I will not come back again!!! Their service was bad and rude. They overpriced for replacement of 2 wipers: $55!!! The only thing I needed was a safety inspection, but they told me my wipers were not working properly, so I needed to put new ones in order to pass a safety inspection, without telling my how much they would cost! Normally my husband changes my oil but of course my "change oil soon" sensor came on the day before he was flying out. Go figure. I found this place because it was conveniently located to one of my favorite places to eat. I called ahead to see if I needed an appt it if it was first come first serve. The girl on the phone was helpful and friendly. I got there a little after two and they were pretty busy (about 8 cars waiting and all stalls full). The guy that came out to greet me and get my info was friendly and joking with us. He told me it would be about a 45 minute wait....no problem cause we were going to kuru kuru. 40 minutes later my car was done and ready to roll. I've come here for a few times for my oil change mostly because they are pretty quick at attending to my vehicle. I went in for an oil change today since I'm overdue and Roland was very kind enough to attend to my service right when I got there. They found a few things that needed to be replaced, such as some filters and what not, but it seemed worth doing since I was already there. They may find other services to add on but they will always notify you before hand and you can always let them know if you wouldn't like to do it that day. "Mahalo nui loa" to Rowland, the Jiffy Lube Aiea Store Manager. I appreciate the kindness and helpful service he provided to my daughter when she needed brake service. I truly appreciate the extended service he offered if she ever experienced brake squeaking in the future. This location provided front brake service but the noise occurred in the rear brakes. Even though they previously performed service on the front brakes, Rowland checked and cleaned the rear brakes also ensuring both front and rear brakes worked and did not squeak. This is the kind of service that is missing in today's service industry. As a side note, I would not have given this location a great review if the previous Assistant Manager was still employed with this company. She was NOT A CUSTOMER FRIENDLY OR SERVICE MINDED individual. If you need help, ask for Rowland. read more

If I could, I would give this place 0 stars. It was supposed to be a simple battery change but instead they fried my whole dashboard including my radio and all the charging ports. Right after the battery exchange, all of my car lights went on, short circuited, resulting in my car to shut down while driving off the lot. I went immediately back and told the mechanic about what happened. She drove the car around and said everything was ok. When I told her about the radio not working and all of my dash being fried she called her manager. Instead of admitting that they have done something wrong, the manager started yelling at me, called me a bitch and tried to physically fight me. She had to be pulled back by the mechanic. She not only verbally assaulted me but also tried to assault me physically. She also was not wearing a mask at all times. After I asked her to tell me her last name she told me to fuck off. I tried to ask the mechanics about her last name to report her to corporate but they threatened me to call police on me. I have recorded the manager running away from me while I was asking her for her last name. I am filling a complaint with corporate and thinking about filing a police report as well. Shame on you for hiring this type of employees, especially in a manager position. Now I have completely fried dashboard and the radio- I can't even charge my phone in the car. read more

Went there for a safety check and oil change, first the girl asked if I wanted my headlights cleaned cuz it might not pass safety check for a added charge, I said no I have a cleaner at home. It didn't pass cuz the power steering fluid was too low, asked me if it makes a noise, I said no, they said must have a leak somewhere. Went to my mechanic and nothing was wrong went back the next day took the mechanics report to them and got my safety check. HORRIBLE. THEY FORGOT OUR ENGINE AIR FILTER. I wish I could give no stars. We will never be returning nor referring. They changed our oil and "replaced" our filter. Cone to find out 5,000 miles later there was no filter to begin with. Not only that but the didn't even secure the filter housing unit when we picked it up. Then they refused to reimburse us and wanted us to let them fix whatever damage was caused by them. Uh no. Took my 2011 dodge charger for services back in August and my car broke down a month later and overheated. I called jiffy lube to figure out what exactly did they do for service and before I could even give my make and model of the car, they just gave a standard list of services. I guess she remembers every single car that comes through there. The crazy thing throughout all of that was the fact that she told me to add water in my car and it should be good to go... I usually come here for all my oil changes on my truck. As I did today. Every time I have been here I have had friendly, fast service. Upon pulling up to the building, they walk out and help you. After that when it comes to oil changes the prices are pretty good, plus they top off the fluids in the vehicle, fill the tires and will vacuum the interior and clean the windows. Most of the times that I have been here they will have my vehicle done within a half hour. This place is located in the pearl kai shopping center. For a tip, this place gets pretty busy during the weekend so make sure you get there early or you will be waiting . The latest I have gotten here is 8am and there was a few vehicles already in line and after I pulled up there were about 6 more cars that pulled up. Just make sure that you there early. Total price for over 5 1/2 quarts of synthetic/conventional mixture was $68.95. Definitely worth not having to crawl under the truck and have to dispose of the old oil. read more

Just moved back home and needed to find a place to get my oil changed. This was my first time going to a Jiffy Lube and my first oil change since moving back to Hawaii and I'm so happy that I went here. First of all, the guys who serviced the vehicles were all super professional making sure to greet me and acknowledge that I was there to get my car serviced as they were still helping the people before me. I wish I could remember his name, but the guy who checked me in also let me choose what type of oil I wanted. He explained to me which one would be best for me based on what is recommended, but didn't make me feel pressured to just choose the most expensive one just because my car is European (which of course I chose anyhow). When I came to pick my car up, I was told that they also did a "Signature Service" on my car which meant they vacuumed my floors and topped off the liquid levels for a bunch of my stuff which I wasn't even expecting. They also gave me a military discount which I didn't know they even offered, but it was nice that they asked and gave it to me after showing my I.D. I did leave my car to run errands so I told them to call me when it was completed. Well, I had to call because it had been a couple of hours since I had dropped it off and the woman who answered (who was super nice and very sweet) told me my car was actually done and that she tried calling me once and it didn't go through. Not a big deal at all, but it would've been a PERFECT experience if I didn't have to call to see if it was done. All in all, I thought it was GREAT service especially from the guys working on the cars. I will definitely be coming back so if you'd like no hassle and very knowledgeable mechanics who do an amazing job servicing your vehicle, I would definitely come here!!! read more

I normally replace my own oil. But i decided to give myself a break and decided to go here based on the reviews. The customer service was ok, and after they kept pushing me to get all my fluids changed, they were able to finish pretty quick based on the line. But the when the next scheduled oil change came, i did it myself again,but i noticed that they over tightened my drain plug to the point where they rounded the nut. They obviously used am impact driver to replace the plug, when this normally just needs to be hand tightened, plus a 1/4 turn. Because of that, my 30 minute project turned into a 3 hour battle. I took both my wife's car and my car in this past week for an oil change and vehicle inspection. Both times I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with several vehicles in front of me. I have used other locations in the past for inspections and even services and have faced long waits and long lines. Today I came in only to change my husbands oil. Rab took care of me today. He explained everything so clearly as a woman I completely understood what he was talking about. I found out that they fix light bulbs so I had asked Rab if they could replace the front and back bulbs and the oil change of corse. My engine light was on and I asked him if they could take a look at the problem since I'm here. In less than 5 min he came back to me with an estimate on why my engine light was on and how much it was going to cost to fix it. WOW I was so amazed at the level of service that I received from him today. He also brought the broken part in to show me how it looked. Again! WOW. Everything was so fast and seamless. He also came to personally tell me that he is going home for the day and another agent was going to follow up with me. Again! WOW.
